The hotel is close to the underground and bus stops. There is also a supermarket near the hotel where all your needs can be met. The hotel was clean. The sheets, pillows and towels were clean and our room was cleaned every day. The staff were very attentive and really tried to please us

If there is one thing I can see as negative, it is the lack of comfort of the bed. But since I was tired every time I came back from travelling, I didn't feel it much because I was so tired and fell asleep right away.

I saw the bad reviews of the double room AFTER I booked and was SO worried about my stay. I didn't need to be. It was great. The room I received was a HUGE improvement on the one pictured. I would advise the property to update their page on here. Raj was VERY friendly and accommodating. He provided decaf coffee and soya milk (after seeing my note about being vegan) which was not expected. Two bottles of cold water on arrival was a nice touch. The room was exactly what I wanted it to be basic, clean and comfortable. The mattress was orthopedic which was another lovely surprise as soft mattresses mess my back up. I was VERY comfortable on this bed. The room includes a fridge, TV, double bed, wardrobe, chair, kettle and fan and there is also shower gel in the shower. So all of this made for a very comfortable 2 night stay. The location is also great too. About 10 min walk to the tube station so VERY ideal for the O2. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. Thanks for a great stay Raj. Although it’s an old building, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I arrived very hot and bothered after a long journey and the receptionist handed me a bottle of ice cold water (it was a very hot day) while I was checking in. He also helped me by carrying my case up the stairs. There is housekeeping every day, which many hotels don’t do now for short stays. There was also a fridge in the room which came in handy. It’s very convenient for Stratford East theatre

There was little water pressure in the sink and no plug, but the shower was strong enough, so it wasn’t a major inconvenience.

Affordable, friendly staff and good connections at Stratford (use the Elisabeth line - it has AC!!). It's easy to get to and there are several good resurants and cafes nearby. Stratford centre also has everything you need from Boots to Saintsbury's. It was easy to check in and there was always someone at the reception to welcome you home.

The facilities are quite run down but everything works.

We liked the fact that it was very close to the tube, busses to the centre or to the airport. The room was very clean and it was cleaned every day. There were also a fridge, kettle and microwave so that was another plus.

We couldn't get anny recommendations from the receptionist about anything we asked. We couldn't understand a thing he was saying and neither could he.

We booked it to stay the night before seeing the Abba Voyage show the day after. Hotel was within walking distance to Wetherspoons which we visited on the Saturday night and again for Sunday breakfast. Could either walk or get a taxi to the stadium, we’re lazy! One of the main reasons was that we could park here.

Very small bathrooms.

I appreciate smooth check in even during deep night. Also daily clean service was a nice surprise for this price. Socket with USB chargers helped too. Free tea, coffee, glasses, ... really useful things to stay for few days. Location was fine.

Very small room for 5 people, broken furniture, 4 electric radiators, some not working, you need to find out good settings. Microwave in hallway would be great if it won't smell so badly.

Very friendly and easy to find, our hosts provided a stay that was just what we needed. Plenty to do/eat/see within a short walk. Really excellent. Thank you! Lovely backyard space, updated bathroom, and we were very charmed by the daily cleaning.

Perfectly acceptable for a hotel of this standard. Clean, fairly quiet, plenty of hot water for a shower and well heated rooms. Wifi worked without any problems and TV/radio was fine.

Would have been nice to have a bedside table and lamp so that I didn't have to find my way back to bed in the dark.

Great location for transport around London, easy to get to from Stratford station. Really good price for London, small rooms but everything we need for a night or a couple nights as we’re out of the room most of the day. Flexible check in and luggage storage is always a bonus.

Could benefit from adding small appliances like a mini fridge and microwave.
