Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Staff organised me a gluten free breakfast which was coeilac safe. The bed was very comfy. Location was great. Walking distance from Euston station and lots of bus stops and a tube station across the road. The hotel was lovely and we looked forward to staying here again.

Four lifts but only ever two in use. Spent a lot of time waiting for the lift! Room didn't look exactly as in the photos, it was a little smaller and had no chaise longue. Gluten free breakfast had to be vegetarian - some gluten free bacon or sausage would be nice and not difficult to do as they are widely available. The room was a little warm and the AC didn't come on until the middle of the night.

Melia White house has undergone a major renovation during covid closure and what you find is a very big change starting from the lobby, bars up to the rooms. The updated rooms present a modern approach, minimalist yet comfortable and stylish. The renovation has brought much light into rooms and toilets which before were a bit worn out and so does the pathways and inter-floor corridors. As per human resources, a chat with management and guest desk (Glenda is so devoted to her job) is always a pleasure by MWH.

It is a pity that with all that investment, the cleaning and maintenance does not seem right. Although everything new, the marble tops at bedroom furniture and toilet are never cleaned as it should; if you try to remove the espresso machine in the room, you will see that no one care to clean properly; white stains and dust everywhere on marble ( I was obliged to move the espresso mach. from the place in order to make it work in other location since the plug does not fit in the place). It takes a good effort to keep the rooms into the standard they were designed and built and a small effort can bring things look as they should!

- Excellent Location (<5 minutes from 2 tube stations, 7 min from another, well connected by bus) - Very good breakfast buffet and restaurant - Helpful and polite staff. Also, well staffed - many hotels and shops in London have a staff shortage

- The room had no telephone, and the Melia App provided for room service etc was not reliable. There was an outside line on the App to order room service, but no one answered on several occasion - Given that rooms are fairly small, space could be more optimally used (e.g. nightstands/tables next to bed, had no storage) - Cleaners were variable. We stayed for 12 days, and on most days the cleaners were very good. But on a couple of days they had disarranged our clothes - On the last day of our stay, there was a large contingent of students staying at the hotel, and it was difficult to get a table for breakfast

very large comfortable bed. Great room facilities. Location next to Regent’s Park and right by a tube station. Good value for money

Staff could of explained how to use the lifts! I couldn’t work out easily how to view room service or breakfast menus.

Very nice and clean hotel. Service is very good. Rooms are nice and equipped. A short distance from the underground and the 88 bus is just outside. Room cleaning is daily and they give a complementary water bottle each day. The lifts are quick and although it is a large hotel, it doesn't feel like one

The shower is a bit small. Need some hangers in the entrance to the room. The sound isolation from the rooms is not the best. If someone raises the voice or just talk aload, you will hear it (which is annoying) We had a room facing the inner streets we could still hear the cars (not so load but a better isolation should be used)

What a lovely property with very helpful staff. Excellent location. Tip… go a bit further to the right on the road outside and use Regents Park tube station. It’s much easier and quicker into the centre, which is close anyway but saves a tube change. The price with breakfast for a deluxe twin was similar to small guest houses or very basic hotels half an hours tube journey away so it made perfect sense to book here. It was close to St Pancras for our flight home from Luton. The best thing was we were early arrival and were able to leave our luggage until check in time at 3, then we could leave it in on the last day too which saved us costly left luggage fees at the train station. Very happy with our stay, comfortable and the big bonus was the amazing full spread for breakfast! Everything from scrambled eggs, Omlet, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, hash browns, and more. Teas and coffees, fresh juices, fresh bakery items such as croissants, lovely bread, Danish pastries, and even cookies!! The salad bar with meats, cheeses, fruits, dips was excellent. And the first time ever … an olive oil station!! With little bruschetta breads and balsamic!! The only thing missing for me was smoked salmon!! But hey.. you can’t have everything! I would seriously would go back for the breakfast alone! Enjoy!!!

Nothing!

I've stayed in Melia hotels before and had a great stay, but had been a bit concerned about this one after reading other reviews. I needn't have worried! The hotel was lovely. We had an upgrade to a Premium King Room for our anniversary, which gave us a super-king bed and more space in the room. The room was very quiet (I'd read that windows/walls were thin, but that didn't trouble us at all) and was warm (a bit too warm actually, we couldn't work out the air con). The hotel bar had a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was great too - lots of choice, and again the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again for the good location and good room quality. I think upgrading to the Premium room was a good call.

The Premium King Room was very nice, but there were a couple of things that did let it down. The mattress was very firm, and you could feel the springs down the middle of the super-king bed (but despite that we did both have a good night's sleep, so can't have been that bad!). The bedside tables could have done with a wipe over - they still had ring marks on from a previous occupant. And personally I wasn't a fan of the translucent glass between the shower and the bedroom - ok as a couple, but I wouldn't have liked that if I'd been away with a friend!

We stayed a few years ago and were looking forward to the new décor and were pleased with the results. Thought the decoration in the lobby and rooms was very nice and modern and the room was a really good size. Staff were always friendly and polite and although rushed off their feet at breakfast they always looked after us and couldn't do enough to help and get us what we wanted. We were in and out of the hotel over the duration of our stay and staff always said hello regardless of the time of the day or night. Would stay again without a doubt although it is moving towards a price range that will make it unaffordable - pre-covid we paid around £140 a night, this time it was nearer to £300 a night. Lovely central location and on the doorstep of Regent's Park.

I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included at the price point of the room - i usually check when using booking.com but this time at over £250 a night for the room assumed it would include breakfast. Queried it at check in but was told it was room only so we ended up paying extra as we'd arrived into London late without luggage as the airline lost it. There are decent, cheaper hotels in London that include breakfast but we wanted to stay somewhere slightly nicer and upmarket. Breakfast not being included took the shine off a little. Price's having gone up so much. Having some outside space and a pool would make this place exceptional.

Fresh, stylish renovation of a 1930’s building. It’s a Spanish chain and has a Latin flavor rather than faux Downton Abbey kitsch. Everything is very comfortable and well thought out. The buffet-style breakfast is generous, with great choice and pretty good quality.

Location is close to beautiful Regent’s Park and the grand buildings surrounding it, but it is a long way from many main attractions. Although it is very convenient to public transport, the routes can be hard for visitor to figure out. The staff are young and friendly, but seem to have little authority. They made heavy weather of extending my reservation even though there were plenty of rooms available.

All staff and front of house were extraordinarily friendly, accommodating and helpful!

The rooms were very dusty and part of the problem is that the vents are covered in a super thick layer of dust. This may have been the reason why our air conditioning wasn't working well in both rooms. We got very lucky that we had cool days and could open our windows. If not for this, we would have switched rooms or even hotels. We were missing a chair in our room and one of the light fixtures was falling out of the wall.
