- Location - only 7 minutes away from Paddington station, nice neighbourhood - Fast communication and helpful staff - There were few things broken when we arrived, but maintenance team quickly fixed it so I put it as a plus. - Room was warm - Easy self check-in process

- The room was small and in the ground floor with the view to another buidling and almost no natural light. It could be better if service provider would warn in advance that the room is in the basement floor. - The double bed was quite small and the mattress too firm for my personal preference but otherwise fine - Guests are obligated to pay a £200 advance (which is returned upon your departure). It could stated more clearly in the description

The location especially for Paddington Station was perfect with it being less than a 5 minute walk, lots of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops right on your doorstep. Me & the Mrs would definitely use Paddington Apartments again.

We read horror stories on how complicated the booking process was but we had the key code email as stated an hour before the check in time but and had no issues ,also be aware that they take a £200 holding deposit on the day of your arrival and release it after you leave, again I wasn't aware of this but it is on the booking info before you actually book, I obviously missed that part but I had no issues in getting that holding deposit back, not a criticism but just making you aware before you book.

Good location, clean and comfortable place. Lots of shops around and still a quiet place to sleep.

No possibility to leave the suitcases the day we left or before the check in time

Fabulous location and felt safe

Getting in the door the first time and getting the key from the drop box was easy. Detailed instructions by email. The room had everything we needed and was clean and ready for us. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. It was so nice to have cooking equipment, plates, glasses, and utensils, it made preparing and eating in so much better. Additional touches like dish soap, scrubbies, and a kitchen towel made it quick to tidy up at the end of a meal. The apartment is just a couple of blocks from Paddington Station which made it very easy to get around London by underground, train, or bus. At night the area is quiet, which makes it easy to sleep. I would highly recommend these apartments.

We had a problem with the shower draining, but a quick contact with management by email saw the problem fixed by the time we got back from our day out. The shower is hard to get in and out of, being up on a platform, and having to step down onto the floor where the foot left in the shower could slip out from under you was tricky. Some nonslip stickers on the shower floor would make it a lot safer. That was the only drawback to the room.

Fortunately there happened to be a member of staff in the building who was able to let me in.

1. As a regular customer I had previously been told that I did not need to pay £200 deposit, but my card was debited. While that will be returned I trust, it causes an admin issue for our company which should not have happened. 2. When I tried to download the electronic key to the App, the confirmation gave me a booking.com email address, which of course doesn't actually exist so I was unable to confirm and access the key. 3. However, there is no option but to book through Booking.com, so I fail to understand how anyone can ever get access to the electronic key. Please make it easier to get in at the end of a long day's work and please stop charging my card as promised.

The apartment was nice, better than my previous experience in London. Good WiFi, good kitchen, easy to find and easy to check in after instructions are received.

Minor issues - no freezer in fridge, no outdoor clothes hanger, no frying pan lid, no toothbrush holder, no dish drying rack. The bathroom sink was clogged. The WC lid was partly disconnected. The inner door wouldn't close, which affects soundproofing. To check in and pay a security deposit, you need to fill in your personal and bank card details via link received in booking extranet - that is exactly what booking.com warns NEVER to do! Clearly, somebody must change their procedures, there are systematic reports of various hotels extranet being compromised and credit card data stolen. You only receive check in details shortly before actual check in time, which isn't friendly for those not using roaming while in the UK.

Check-in and check-out were online, saving a lot of time. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. Communication with the hosts was prompt and efficient. I initially stayed in the basement, but when I mentioned I had a baby pushchair and requested a move to an upper-floor apartment with a lift, they accommodated me without any hassle, and the housekeeper helped move my luggage. The hosts were very kind, helpful, and respectful. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk to the underground, with numerous highly-rated coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and only a 10-minute walk to Hyde Park. I highly recommend it.

The sinks in the toilets of both apartments were clogged.

The email sent with the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The room itself was very spacious and had comfortable bedding. Location was close to paddington station. the apartment had a lift which was easy to get luggage up and down. Amenities in the room was basic, but enough for family.

The email was sent too close to check in time. It created an amount of uncertainty especially as I was travelling with my family and having to constantly check email while travelling to make sure I have all required information to get into the room. The room was a little dust, as I had to wipe down the chairs and table after checking in.

The apartment was exceptional clean. Everything was spotless! The unit is very comfortable with two beds and a sofa. It is in a great location within an easy walking distance to Paddington Station, Hyde Park, Kensington, restaurants and the tour bus stop. As women, we felt safe walking to and from the apartment. The outside door is accessed with a code and our units’s door even had an alarm on it when deadbolted. The location is quiet despite being close to many things. There is an elevator and air conditioning. We had difficulty with the AC on our first night there (probably user error!), but someone came the next day while we were out and had it in working order. Also, halfway through our 4 night stay, housekeeping came in to tidy and leave clean towels.

My only suggestion would be to add some USB outlets for charging personal devices.
