It's a perfect place to stay. The greatest thing here is definately surrounded by nice people. More than that, the location is great. Within walking distance, you get everything you need, including tons of restaurants and bars. There are also activities for you to join, like only £4, you could have a family dinner made by the staff on Thursday, cocktail night, movie night...
Well, what I don't like...the longer you stay, the more you feel it's like a family. When I get obssessed to this atmosphere, it's my time to check-out. Next time, I might save some more time to join more of their activities.

I thought the Location is superb and the staff were very friendly and understanding of requests for Bottom or Middle bunk and extra pillows and duvets. They were also very keen to make you feel at home and welcome. The checking in process is smooth and quick. The 9 bed room is very spacious and very importantly room to leave your bags and hooks to hang your jackets and trousers and shirt. The showering facilities are excellent, especcially on the 3rd floor which is the best combined showering/ toilet ensuite facilities of any hostel I have stayed in. You can also cook your own food in a very advanced and comprehensive Kitchen with oven and Electric cookers. There is also a wonderful TV/ Plasma screen with Terrestrial Freeview Channels and Netflix TV Series and Films to watch in the basement floor. A really great hostel. I would definitely strongly recommend staying for a few nights or week or even longer to anyone reading this blog.
Nothing to think of.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel for 3 weeks. The staff is lovely, the beds are comfy, the location is super convenient. The hostel makes sure to organize enough activities that encourage you to interact with fellow travellers and the staff. For instance, Family Dinner is when the staff cooks food for anyone who signs up, and the low price of 4 pounds is so worth the DELICIOUS food. There's also Cocktail Night with unbeatable prices and vibes, and Movie Night which is free and a really fun bonding experience. The hostel itself allows for all these activities and more to happen comfortably, there's designated areas for pretty much any mood, from very quiet to very social. And it does, truly, feel like home. This is no minor issue: the temperature and pressure of the water in the showers is ideal. Makes the daunting process of taking a hostel shower significantly easier. The toilets are in great shape too, which admittedly is something I've seen mentioned a lot in past reviews, and it was a big reason for my choice. I'm pleased to report the reviews were right. The staff and volunteers are wonderful enough that they deserved their own paragraph in my review. Helpful and kind, also friendly and very approachable. Funny too, which is always a plus. They have great taste in music which makes the hangout spaces an even better experience. It really does feel like a family, at least it did from my perspective. I'm really gonna miss them.

I had an amazing stay at PrimeBackpacker! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and at home. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The numerous activities and the friendly atmosphere made it easy to connect with other travelers and create unforgettable memories. Whether you're staying for a short visit or a longer trip, I wholeheartedly recommend PrimeBackpacker to anyone looking for a welcoming and high-quality place to stay. A huge thank you to Bruno, Isobel, Robert, and Andy for your kindness, warmth, and exceptional hospitality! Ava :)

Stayed there already 3 times, I would say it`s a very good hostel where you can keep your privacy. Ladies in female dormitory are always nice no matter where they`re from, it`s always very quite in the nights and you can hear birds singing. Still not enough toilets but the situation is much better than in February, all toilets were fixed. I`m a big fan of Islington and Barbican, there`re always a place for a nice evening walk before going to bed
the lach of freezers isn`t good :( and my one of my sockets was broken (room Leicester sq left 1 bed if you faced to the window)

The staff was very nice and welcoming! The common areas were also nice and the people I met at the hostel were pretty friendly on Sunday morning (free pancakes for breakfast on Sunday!). The private bathrooms were clean, which I appreciated. Except when I had to go after a guy who put water absolutely everywhere.
I was in an 8-bed female dorm and wasn't expecting a room with no curtains on the beds. It's pretty standard to have them now. Some girls in the dorm were extremely noisy, one coming in past midnight and watching videos on her phone, with her light on, without earphones!!! Another one was packing noisily at 5am. The girl sleeping on the top bunk above me was sick. Needless to say it's hard to get a good night's sleep with such people in a dorm. If you could figure out how to put curtains on each bed, I'll gladly come back though (with earplugs and eye masks)!

It was clean and the staff were nice. A good working area and a clean kitchen as well.
There was a drunk man at the hotel when I was there although the situation was handled well. There was one male staff member that wasn’t so nice but the rest were and I feel that is not a reflection on the staff as a whole and maybe just on him.

The location was great and made it easy to get where I need to with either the Tube or buses. The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of activities to do with the hostel, some for free and some for a small fee.
You do have to strip the linens yourself when you leave, which isn't a big problem, until you see how stained the mattresses are and realize that's what you've been sleeping on; there was no direct problem with the mattress, like I said, it was very comfortable, however, putting a mattress cover over them wouldn't be too hard and could potentially help eliminate some of the stain problems. The bathrooms, while having plenty of toilets, often had wet and slippery floors due to the showers, so make sure to bring shoes for the bathroom!

I genuinely liked this hostel it generally had great facilities, including a communal kitchen where I was able to socialize with other people and enjoy cooking food. I thought the location was great, too, as it was right in the heart of Angel in Islington, which made a great place to stay. Staff were genuinely very supportive and approachable at reception, too, which I found helpful and were able to assist with any queries, which made my stay settled and happy. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would happily stay again at this hostel again.
A couple of the bathrooms were not working, but apart from that, everything was generally great and had a great stay.

The staff at this hostel were amazing and got so personal with you it was like you were their mates. Shoutout to Jodany! Really enjoyed the family dinner they offered every few nights, was able to easily meet new people. The kitchen facilities were so handy as London can be pricey, was able to store my own groceries with no issue. Beds were comfortable enough and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Location was good, bus stops just outside and Angel station was around the corner, so getting to central London was super easy. Stayed at this hostel for less than a week and it really started to feel like home!
