The location was superb, and the breakfast was good, more than enough. Our room was really cool because the two bedrooms were immediately separated the moment you walked into the room— however, if you wanted a room to sit and chat, it would need to be on one of the beds in the bedrooms.

The hotel is pretty outdated— however, that is expected for this area. People come to Notting Hill for the 'vintage vibe,' and that's exactly what you'll get when staying here. Oh, and the elevator is a bit small and very slow... we only used it for our luggage even though we were on the upper floors.

The room was nice, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was also super convenient having laundry facilities on site!

Breakfast was fabulous. Did not eat dinners as we were out and about. But the few times we came back around dinner time, it sure seemed like it was quite the social event in the dining room! Room was clean and well kept. The bathroom was a little small but hot water was plentiful. I liked the fact that it was one unit divided into two sections so we could have our own space. Vincent house is a type of hotel I would like to see more of. It was relatively quiet. I took ear plugs as my room was facing the street and had no problems- the traffic does die down after 11 pm. It felt like I stepped back into the 60s-which I did NOT mind (it's an Art Deco building)-and was staying in one of the better dormitories on campus but much nicer. There's a very nice feeling to Vincent house. Weather was warm but when I asked for a fan, it was sent up immediately. The self-serve laundry facility was reasonable and convenient and solved a travel problem. I brought my own detergent and dryer sheets and the desk had change for the machines. The Notting Hill Gate subway is at the end of street. Three minute walk. You cannot get a more convenient setting!

The satellite TV reception was poor. It seems the more users the less you could watch a show.

It was charming and historic but spacious and had all the modern conveniences. The location was fantistic. Portobello Road an easy walk. Moderate walk from Paddington station. I loved the lounge area and garden. Gigi the resident ginger cat is an added bonus. The restaurant had a great English breakfast, and the dinner menu looked good too. The reception staff was wonderful, thanks for the fish and chips recommendation! Everything was very clean. The room was small, but it worked well due to smart layout.

Not a thing.

This hotel is such a wonderful place to stay! It has all the comfort one needs plus some. I absolutely loved the room I had, the breakfast was great (especially on Sunday!! It seems there is a little difference every day, but in any case it is very good and tasty), the idea with the pantry is fantastic - one can get many different varieties of coffee and tea as well as potable water any time, there is a charming garden where one can enjoy an evening with a drink, I loved the spacious room with the bar with the lovely sitting corners of all kinds - so cosy and thoughtful and with so much affection to the guests, then my particular personal delight was the piano… Located just a few hundred meters away from a tube station with three different lines makes it easily accessible from everywhere, plus it’s really central. That is certainly a hotel I would LOVE to come back to. Thank you to the entire staff having made this stay so enjoyable!

The breakfast was superb and very friendly staff serving it. The room was very spacious especially considering London area. It was very clean and tidy. We had a fan and multiple windows sonthe air came through during the night. The staff at check in and check out were also very friendly and helpfull as was the cleaning staff. My partner had abgreat time for her birthday and the location was great! Very close to Hyde park and the market and several restaurants and shops. Would definitely come back whenever we're in London again!

This hotel is handily located close to Notting Hill Gate tube and is in an attractive art deco building. It had a lovely old-fashioned feel with a comfortable lounge area complete with sofas, piano and pool table. My eventual room was great - clean, comfortable and appeared to be recently renovated. The breakfast (included in the room rate) was lovely with plenty of food choices and good coffee. The reception staff stored my luggage after I checked out and there was free coffee available in the lounge area which was great for me as I had some time to kill before my evening flight out of the country.

I was initially sent to a room that was in a state of renovation - bed was dismantled and all the furniture pushed against a wall. The reception staff appeared to be baffled by this and were quick to assign me another room but I was offered no apology or explanation. Temperatures were high during my stay and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The overhead ceiling fan did not work but thankfully windows could be opened and there was a desk top fan provided which was worth its weight in gold.

Great location (less than 3 minute walk from Notting Hill Gate underground station). Friendly staff on reception who professional and welcoming. Explained everything about the hotel (breakfast times, wi-fi etc). The room was much bigger than expected (especially in London) and it had everything I needed- super comfy bed, nice clean bathroom and all the facilities you would expect. Undisturbed sleep which again is a bonus. The room was clean and bright and smelt nice! I had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I needed to be near in that part of London

Quiet, clean and very good location just a 100+ yrds or so from main road (local facilities plenty of restaurants etc) and hotel in a quiet area over looking square. Very clean throughout hotel and room which is all you need. Art deco in style lounge and hints throughout main parts. Staff were very helpful to organise taxi etc. Was doing Ride London next day so about 15+min cycle ride or 1hr ish walk to start at St James Park/Buckingham palace. If your looking for clean and affordable stay this hotel is it without the frills of gyms, pools etc then this is it! Would stay again.

Not really a fault of the hotel as there is no parking as such, HOWEVER after 1pm on a Sat was okay for rest of the day (we used just park around the corner outside Hilton 8min walk). If I had to be picky and push the room doors need a paint but that's it, didn't bother us.

The shower was beautifully clean, as was the rest of the bathroom. There were loads of towels, clean bedding, tea and coffee. The additional coffee refreshments and coom room were great additions. Check in was quick with great staff, who also provided us with an additional wifi code so both phones could connect to WiFi. Breakfast was plentiful, it was well set out, with partial service and partial self service. Access was easy and at any time. We booked a twin and had two rooms which was excellent.

Nothing really. The skirting boards were a little scuffed but it's a working hotel and that's bound to happen
