I liked that the manager Jay and staff member Monica were very friendly and very approachable. Nothing was too much to ask. Anything I needed they were on hand to help. it was also great that I could call Jay myself if I needed any questions answered and if no staff were around later in the day. My room was spacious, warm and clean. A very comfortable bed and also a nice and peaceful place to rest, which was what I really needed at this time. There was room service every day also if you wanted it. The price was great, especially for the Wimbledon area. I did not have the breakfast, so i can not comment on that. Thank you Jay and Monica for your generous hospitality whilst I was with you. I would definitely stay here again. I stayed on the Buddha floor. The room I stayed in is great for 2 people, but I was more than happy to have the room to myself. There is also free parking in the back of the hotel. Thank you again. A very happy customer. 😁😴

There were a few cosmetic things that need a little attention, but nothing that stopped me from enjoying my time here and nothing that I could not sort out or figure out myself. For the price though, I can not complain.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is within walking distance of the station. They offered a vegetarian breakfast option. The room was well decorated and had a lovely comfy bed. Loved the Buddha theme.

The breakfast was good - cooked and served immediately by a lovely lady, but was expensive (maybe that is normal London prices?). The room was lovely but any noise could be heard during the night so had to get up through the night to shut the window properly. The blind let in a lot of light.

Location is great for the train station to get into London Host responded to questions very quickly and was flexible and very helpful. A lovely place to stay, good value and very clean. Comfortable sleep, good mattresses

Bed was a little low for us, but didn't stop it being a very comfortable mattress, could have done with an extra pillow each- however this is our preference Could hear the residents in the room above us moving around a lot, again nothing that host could do, those residents were particularly noisey.

The location was fantastic, just a stones throw away from Wimbledon shops and the underground/train station. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The shower was great and there was a good supply of hot water. There was plenty of space for storing belongings/clothes in both draws and a built in wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities in room and we had access to a good amount of channels on the television as well as Wi-Fi when we came back to relax at the end of the day. My child and myself stayed in a family room which had ample space, one double bed and one single. The room met our needs perfectly.

My personal feeling is that often it is the people that make the places I visit, the welcoming smiling face when you arrive. It’s a shame therefore that entry is done by a phone call to the manager who then grants access remotely. Thankfully my phone just managed to keep enough power to do this, as it started to run low by the time we arrived. This had the potential to create some stress, but thankfully didn’t. The manager was very friendly and we had no problems with entry to the hotel and our room. The heating was on full in the room ( it had been cold but suddenly warmer on particular day) and the control to turn it down didn’t seem to work but we opened a window which resolved this problem and it went off by a certain time anyway.

The property was close to where I needed to be and close to transport to take my husband into central London where he needed to visit.

It was very comfortable and clean. There wasn’t too much noise either. There was everything that we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly, and polite and the owner was so kind as well as helpful. He advised us of a fabulous Indian restaurant called The Sai, in Raynes Park which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was lovely too at the Wimbledon Hotel. We were also pleased to be able to park in the hotel car park.

The Wimbledon Hotel was booked very late as I was not sure of my London schedule. I arrived late after the hotel reception was manned but the connection to the owner was simple and the method of entering after hours effective. The hotel was bright and clean and my room perfect for my needs. The breakfast was adequate and the cooked option was made to perfection. When leaving on the last day early in the morning the staff were quick to recover their late arrival to meet my individual needs. The owner is very approachable. The connections to all areas of London are excellent.

The only area of discomfort for me was my single bed. The mattress was soft and aggravated an existing back injury. The kitchen staff arrived late on my final day when I had to leave in the early morning and I had notified the owner of my departure time. However, he was very quick to resolve the issue and i had my breakfast before my early departure.

Was let down terribly right at the last minute by another hotel/apartment, and while I was scrolling desperately for alternatives, happened upon The Wimbledon. Thankfully, there was one room available, and our centre court experience went ahead after all. Easy to find off the M25, parking space was an absolute bonus. Very welcoming host. Room large and nicely decorated. Iron, hairdryer, kettle and coffee/tea provided. A little noisy as we were at the front with a busy road outside, but didn't spoil our sleep. 25 minute walk up through Wimbledon Village to the All England Club. Would recommend 👌

Excellent location, near shops and Wimbledon. Really helpful owner, who explained everything on checking in, including the special nack needed to get the door key to work, lol. Main attraction was car parking facilities, and was able to leave it there on check out day, so we could explore the shops and local area more.

Breakfast was ok, but would have been better if had mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding.

THE LOCATION OF THE WIMBLEDON HOTEL IS REALLY PERFECT FOR A LONDON VISIT WITH FAMILY. VERY REASONABLE CONDITIONS AND IDEAL CLOSE ( ABOUT 10 MINUTES) TO THE WIMBLEDON UNDERGROUND STATION AND EVEN A BUS-STOP IS NEXT DOOR OR OPPOSITE. THE LANDLORD ASSISTED US FROM THE VERY FIRST MOMENT WE APPEARED AND PROVIDED US A NICE AND WARM FEELING OF WELLCOMENESS "KARIBU" !!

I registered online, and the Manager/Proprietor Jay let me into the building remotely. This was a very efficient system, and gave me the freedom to come and go easily. The room was quite large and quite comfortable - the TV worked well, and the bathroom was good. The manger was very pleasant, as was the lady who served my breakfast.

The room was cold when I arrived (at 2015) but the radiator was switched off. I opened the valve and the radiatior began to warm up, but unfortuately the heating went off at 2100, and by the time I returned at 2115 the room was cold again. I discovered that one of the sash windows was open at the bottom. Jay apologised the following morning, and assured me that the heating would stay on all day, so all was well. It would have been useful to have an extra source of heat just in case.
