The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All staff were really kind and welcoming. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and the spa was excellent.

The bathroom was rather small, the shower was hidden behind the door as opened. But as we used the spa on both days of our one night stay it was not a problem really.

The gym and pool are well equipped and clean. Nice variation of menu at both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We very much enjoyed our stay, very comfortable, very good facilities, very beautiful site. We enjoyed using the swimming pool, car park well laid out. Excellent breakfast. Staff were excellent a particular thanks to Simon King ( I think I have his correct name ) at the front desk who moved us to a different room on the second day. The first room no 217 was noisy, it may have been the ventilation system which may have had a fault, or possibly from the spa facility, Whatever it was rattled quite loudly all night. The second room just along the corridor was perfect. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Difficult to criticise, hotel is a very nice place to stay

Everyone is very friendly. Spa was clean Very comfortable rooms.

Family with small children in two adjoining rooms above us. Children ran up down for hours in the evening and jumped from beds thumping over our heads before 6 am two days running. Why did you not put them on the ground floor where they would not disturb other guests ? Food in main restaurant was disappointing and seemed to be pre prepared. So if you asked for something to be omitted it was not possible, so very limited choice.

The hotel was in a good location as long as you drive. Our room was quiet (as I'd requested) and was next to the Spa so ideally located. The staff were all helpful and cheerful and a minor issue we had with the tv in the room was resolved promptly within 15 minutes. The hotel and facilities were clean and the spa was available at a good range of hours. Plenty of parking and a 15/20 minute drive into Winchester and 2 miles to the nearest petrol station, shop and pub. We didn't eat in the hotel but the Coach and Horses pub is 2 miles down the road and does a range of very good food in large portions.

The breakfast selection was very good, however the self service cooked breakfast items had been left to stand for too long and were dry. There were a few general repairs that could do with addressing. Our window was very stiff to open and close and a couple of lights were temperamental. it's slightly remote if you don't drive, nothing within walking distance.

Beautiful location and a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. All the staff were lovely, breakfasts were delicious and the pool and spa staff were welcoming and professional, a very nice return visit. Daily room service was great, on our return every day, our room had been attended well, towels replaced if necessary and tea and coffee's replenished, wonderful service, thank you 😀 x

There was only one chair in the room, the second seat being a stool at the dressing table. My husband has recently had aortic stent failure and cardiac surgery and gets quite tired. When we returned to the hotel room to rest or to sit and relax before dinner there was only one comfy chair. We spoke to the reception staff and had her assurance that on our next visit, two comfy chairs would be available in our room,,, Thank you 😊

The customer service prior to our stay was 10/10. As it was NYE there were different adjustments and I was aware of them beforehand. The surroundings of the complex were amazingly well cared for from the gardens to the different areas of the hotel. The health and spa facilities were okay, although I was expecting a bit more, considering the capacity of the hotel, but we were lucky and it wasn't too crowdy. A jacuzzi would have made the spa 10/10. Really liked the lockers where I didn't need to bring my own lock or pay for it. Never seen them before. I stayed in the manor house. It was stunning! The decorations, how well cared is everything and our room. Just what we wanted to end and start the year. There was a party in the main building and I couldn't hear a thing! Our views to the lake, made it more special. There is also parking space closer to the manor house which is quite convenient if you carry heavy luggage. Breakfast the next day was 10/10. There was lots of staff around and they were very attentive. It was buffet. Continental and Cooked breakfast. Different options for allergies and intolerances too. All good brands and very well presented, tidy and organised. Plenty of coffee machine to avoid queues and plenty of room to choose where to seat.

There were a few cobwebs in our room around lamps, but we had the best time in the hotel and would recommend it 100%. Bedding,towels etc top! Bed very comfortable too. Overall we're very well satisfied with our stay.

Unfortunately I would not have dinner here again When served my chips were stone cold and the other meal was over priced for what it was lamb and rosemary pie had one piece of meat pastry was burnt . And veg was cold. That's the only complaint about the hotel

My dinner was exceptional - the chicken breast and mushroom rissotto is the best I've ever had and Ive travelled. Everything was delicious and perfect including the service. Breakfast was generous and varied - I really enjoyed it. Again, the staff were superb - especially as I was on crutches. There was a mix up with the room but reception fixed this issue quickly and my room was comfortable and immaculate. The staff couldn't do enough for me. The outdoor bar was lovely and helped me chill out. The pool was beautiful. I accidentally left my mediation behind and once I contacted them they sent it back to me in a timely manner.

No room service - it would have been nice to relax in my room and eat and share a bottle of wine with my neice rather than a bar.

Staff gave complimentary upgrade to bed and breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Relaxing and clean environment overall.

No bathrobes in the bedroom or complimentary when using the swimming pool/spa facilities. Food expensive for portion size. Opted to eat out in Winchester on our last night, as prices in the hotel was getting too much. On entering our bedroom, dirty wine glasses left on a dusty refreshments shelf in the room. Would have been nice for the big TV to have streaming services, given most people have Netflix and Amazon accounts.
