Amazing place!!! Loved our room facing the castle. In the room we had sleepers, bathrobes ,some snacks, tea and coffee... Bathroom with bathtub was great!! There is a shower too. Very nice toiletries, which you can purchase in the castle's shop as well. Breakfast had a good choice of food and great service. Reception staff was amazing as well. We visited the castle while there was jousting event which did make the things even more fun. Castle itself is very beautiful (tickets included in the price of accommodation).

Beautiful location within the moated area of the castle. Great views and a good size. Tastefully decorated and 'dressed'. It was a pleasant stroll from the restaurant back to the room on a warm and sunny evening

If you want facilities such as a bar, communal spaces, it is a long way to the restaurant which hosts the only dining facilities and bar. The noise from the venue setup below us started fairly early on the Saturday morning

You are made to feel special as soon as you check in ,the walk to your accommodation is beautiful and you know your in a historic place. You can check in from 1pm and explore the large grounds and the castle itself.food was exceptional. Room was comfortable and spacious.

The shower in our room in the maidens tower flooded the bathroom floor when used. The staff at breakfast got confused as to where we stayed and we got called back and questioned as they thought we had to pay but it was in with the price.a little bit embarrassing for all concerned.

The maiden tower is beautiful, right next to the castle. We stayed at the Catherine, which was a very large room with a great bathroom, huge bath tub. The heating was great and the view of the castle was perfect. The 3 course dinner was amazing, definitely worth booking.

The only issue was the weather was really bad and the maiden tower is abit of a walk to the restaurant, were as the stable rooms are right next to it.

Well appointed, quiet. Helpful staff. Excellent well maintained gardens. Admission to the castle was a bonus, but would have been even better if available out of normal opening hours.

A five minute walk to restaurant and car park. Not a problem if fine, but not attractive in wet weather. Umbrellas advised ! Very busy with paying visitors during the day (half term).

Amazing view in the restaurant overlooking the castle was a bonus. There was a decent choice of food options and it was all good quality and beautifully presented. Coupled with the history and uniqueness of the property we were bowled over. We were pleased to have access to the grounds during our stay

I did however wish that the plates in the restaurant had been heated as the food at both breakfast and dinner got cold quickly. It wasn't a problem for us but a member of staff did take home the only corkscrew which caused chaos in the restaurant. A bar area to sit in the evening with a bottle of wine might have been good

Magnificent setting, interesting multilayered history. Friendliness of staff

Lack of staff in the dining area lead to various issues. These included slow service, variations in quality of service on a day to day basis. Tables not being cleared until the meal was complete, thus juggling with space in which to eat as well as the unhappy situation of being surrounded by used plates and cutlery. The staff were courteous and did the best job possible, bearing in mind that the shortages ranged across the disciplines.

We absolutely enjoyed our night's stay at Maidens Tower. We stayed at the Anne of Bohemia room - it was indeed palatial and well-appointed. The room comes with all the comforts including bathrobes and slippers, as well as complimentary snacks. The bathroom was enormous. The bed was simply lovely. The biggest selling point is that you are, of course, staying in a castle, which could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Unlike staying at the Stables (the other B&B at Leeds Castle), Maidens Tower is located not just in the Castle grounds but within the Castle wall itself. A night's stay grants you the rare experience of wandering the castle grounds at your own leisure, even after the grounds have been closed to the public, as well as free entry into the castle for the self-guided tour. The service across Leeds Castle was top notch throughout our stay. All the staff were very warm, and we were very thankful to the Castle View restaurant bartender (we unfortunately forgot to ask for his name) for his excellent recommendation to visit Whitstable and other lovely towns in Kent. The breakfast was excellent. Our eggs benedict was delicious, and the options at the cold food buffet were satisfying. We also enjoyed our dinner at Castle View restaurant (which also serves breakfast for the B&B guests).

The only slight downside to the room is that it does not come with air conditioning, which is to be expected in a heritage building like Leeds Castle. The lack of air conditioning can be somewhat stifling in a hot summer day, but there is a fan (and a pretty powerful one) in each room.

We arrived really late, 11pm, as we’d been out on our friend’s boat. Reception was closed but it didn’t take long for a security guy to check us in and walk us to the Maiden’s Tower, pointing out history and helpful information. Absolutely beautifully lit up and and a kind helpful chap. Bed and bedding was the best we’ve ever had in a hotel, so very comfortable, bathroom was amazing too, large and everything we needed. The views in the morning were enough to get us up early for a walk around the grounds.

Breakfast staff were brilliant, attentive, polite, but as a vegetarian I didn’t like the vegan option ie shashuka , eggs and tomatoes with coriander, garlic and chilli. I don’t like coriander and garlic and chilli is for dinner…for me! I would have preferred an option for an omelette or eggs, mushrooms etc.

Delicious breakfast with my all time favourite ‘eggs Benedict’. Wonderful view from the restaurant of the castle sparkling in the early morning sunshine with the banks of daffodils all around. I took some great photos of it from the terrace. Very friendly staff.

The coffee was too strong for me - or maybe it was skimmed milk that didn’t make it weaker. But this is really nit picking and a very minor point.
