The staff made the stay really special as it was for my wife's birthday

The Jacuzzi wasn't working which was a shame

Spacious room, excellent facilities. Staff went out of their way to make my daughter’s birthday special (balloons in the room, complimentary dessert with ‘Happy Birthday’ written in chocolate on the plate). Most of the staff were extremely friendly.

The hotel seems to attract a lot of rough families. No supervision in the pool to keep in check certain children whose parents are too busy to exercise any control over their inconsiderate and dangerous behaviour (dive bombing, excessive splashing, running, jumping over the side of the hot tub into the pool in the path of young children), especially when there are younger children in the pool who are becoming frightened by the behaviour. One older waitress who brought our main meal out was as sour-faced and rude as they come. She blanked me when I (very politely) asked for some ketchup for the children and practically threw the food in front of us.

The hotel was mainly a great comfy place to stay. Has a nice vibe.

Breakfast was a total disappointment. There was a good choice overall, but on the first morning the cooked offerings were all cold / tepid. This was pointed out to staff who checked and found it all cold / tepid. The next morning the situation was exactly the same! !! Nothing was done to correct this problem & we heard several others commenting on the problem. We always look forward to a nice cooked breakfast when staying away & this experience certainly spoilt our stay at your otherwise great hotel. We will be returning again , despite the disappointment & will check it this has been sorted.

A Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay at Orida Hotel Maidstone From start to finish, the experience was seamless and relaxing. The hotel was clean, which instantly made us feel comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool—my kids absolutely loved it and had a great time splashing around. The breakfast was also fantastic, offering a good variety of options to start the day. What stood out most was the calm and easy-going atmosphere of the hotel. It made it incredibly easy for me to unwind and truly enjoy the stay. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly, affordable place

However, I did find the prices at the hotel restaurant to be quite high. With so many more affordable options available nearby, including takeaways and other restaurants within a short drive, it was a bit disappointing. And the floor to swimming pool dirty

Lovely and helpful staff everywhere. The restaurant food was really good and good value. We had a dog and paid 30gbp more and they have a clear pet policy. Dogs are allowed in the bar area and was very relaxed. Rooms were very big. We had 2 double beds. Car parking is outside, 5gbp extra. Hotel is close to some shops too and just off motorway. Great stopover before ferry/tunnel. Would recommend.

The hotel is a bit tired, staff keep it very clean but tables in bar and breakfast area were sticky. Despite this, I would and did stay again. Price value with breakfast is good.

Breakfast was great and lots of choice of hot and continental also plenty of space to sit. The bedroom was lovely and loads of space chairs and table to sit at we only stayed one night but if staying longer that would be great. Bed was sooooo cosy and comfortable we had the best sleep! All in all a lovely stay and we would return 😁

Only down falls to our stay the hot breakfast food was not hot it was literally only just warm! Definitely something that needs to be looked into! Was still edible I will say but would have been alot nicely hot! The bath in our bathroom when we arrived was very dirty but we learned quickly it was because the bath water didn’t run away! It was very obvious it was blocked aswel so was a shame the cleaner hadn’t checked how it looked after the water had gone down as they would have seen how dirty it had been left!

I like the surprise in my room as it was my birthday and my bed was made very pretty with petals and some balloons on sofa, I also had a banner saying happy birthday on my door. I really wasn't expecting that. Its the little things that matter. It really did made me feel special. The room was very cosy and comfortable especially the pillows. Bathroom very clean so was the bedroom. The spa was good I had a relaxed time using the steam room and jacuzzi. Shower rooms were clean likewise the changing rooms. The gym was out of use due to some works which was related to me before my visit. The food was very good I enjoyed my meal I had the lamb and chunky chips, sticky toffee for dessert. I thing for the price of the meals you get it should have a bit more to it like a salad or more meat. Drink prices were reasonable, cocktails are buy one get one free from 3 to 5. Customer service fantastic. Breakfast lots of options, sausages were my favourite. Would definitely go back.

If the TV was working although it did not really bother me as I was using my laptop although it may just be me not pressing right buttons. Quantity of food or change price.

The Orida was ideal for what we needed it for. We attended a wedding at The Orangery, which was just about 7 minutes by taxi from the Hotel. There is a big Next Outlet next to the hotel and an M & S within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and readily see to your needs. This hotel though is showing its age and is needing a bit of TLC. However, the staff are good at maintaining the cleanliness of the place. Breakfast has a very good choice and plentiful. There's Starbucks at the hotel lobby and a great option for afternoon tea. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, so I cannot comment on that option. Would recommend this hotel and would use it again.

There were some small issues that needed to be seen to during our stay, like the broken Jacuzzi in the leisure facilities, a broken coffee machine that really needs fixing or replaced but these were minor issues. And there are no ATM machines in or around the hotel so, if like us, you still prefer using cash in some cases, then it's a good idea to bring some with you.

Very clean and spacious room which fitted x2 double beds, yet still ample space, with a desk, table and sofa. Only drawback was no air conditioning, so a bit hard to control the temp of the room. The room was snug and cosy, and shower was really good although fitted in bath. So if your in need of accessible shower do check with hotel first. Staff were very cooperative, polite and always helpful. Swimming pool was very clean, as was the sauna and steam room and changing rooms. Unfortunately the hot tub wasnt working. Decent breakfast selection for vegeterians, accompanied with fresh juices, fruits, pastries etc. I was under the impression the parking was free, however was £5 per night - still decent. NEXT store is close by, a minutes walks. Perfect for any last min clothing needs. Love the place and will be coming again.

As noted, no air-conditioning in room, and an accessible shower is a must as id like to bring my elderly mother for a few nights.

the space within the room was great and the cleaner attending to our room was amazing. Zoe I think her name was.

The Ash brown was too hard and a kitchen staff member (female) made a comment that someone should not take a little food as a takeaway despite they have paid for the breakfast and run out of time to eat their sit down breakfast. Also another Guest (male) assumed that I worked at the Hotel and was asking me for eggs at breakfast at the hot session and I felt he asked this because of the colour of my skin and that made me very uncomfortable.
