Welcoming staff at reception. Room size is great, large bathroom too. Comfortable bed. Tree view. Window that opens wide for fresh air. Fire in the restaurant.

Not dislikes but small improvements that would make a difference: no bath mat, no dressing gown or slippers, no water available in the room (although they will bring you a bottle of tap water), no minibar, no herbal tea bags. A side note: the pool and heath suite is at the hotel but you have to go through the restaurant to get there, so be fully dressed, undressed and dressed again to use it. (Unlike other hotels where you can go down in the elevator in your gown for example)

The accessible room was fantastic. Beautiful big room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the table and chairs beside the window were lovely to sit and have tea,coffees & hot chocolate which were provided. The accessible bathroom/wetroom was perfect for me.

Unfortunately the snow was heavy and the car park was a carpet of snow. My partner couldn’t get his car up the hill to the main car park due to the snow. He parked in the leisure car park in the first space he could get the car parked in. I can walk short distance using my crutch and the path to the leisure club had been cleared so I was able to get in to the hotel using the leisure facilities door. He did have to carry my wheelchair up and down steps to go through the restaurant to the main hotel reception. I appreciate this was just unfortunate due to the snow.

Really nice hotel stay, we stayed in the executive suite, the room was large, bathroom massive with walk in shower and big bath, two people can enjoy the bath together it’s so big. Everything was clean. Spa included in price is really great addition. Spa and pool were lovely and we really enjoyed the visit, which was much needed after we had just taken part in the Great Scottish Run. Restaurant staff were all really friendly, we had both dinner and breakfast. Food was really nice, no problems with it, all really tasty and very quick to arrive and be served. Reception/spa staff again friendly and welcoming. Would definitely use this hotel again and recommend this as a relaxing stay for couples and young families.

Only things I would say was the hotel felt a little corporate and the restaurant could of had some background music being played, different decor perhaps to create a little more atmosphere.. the strawberries I paid extra for in our room (£8 for some chocolate dipped strawberries) were like the smallest strawberries you find at the bottom of the container.. really sad looking, not what I expected to find when paying £8 for chocolate dipped strawberries, you kind of have in image in your head and it certainly was not it! However my husband still eat them all.

The parkland suite was beautiful. The spa facilities were brilliant and the jacuzzi in our room was amazing. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant whilst there was a live singer playing. The room felt like an apartment with all you can possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

There was great tv selection on the television in the living room area however our television in our bedroom did not have the same selection. This would be great. Whilst in the jacuzzi if you put the jets on full it can spray over the jacuzzi so we had to turn the settings down.

This is the fourth time I have stayed here and it is a little hidden Gem. Great value for money. The staff are friendly and welcoming and were super helpful with booking a taxi. It felt as though nothing was too much for them. The rooms speak for themselves. Food was superb and after checking out we had an afternoon in the sauna/ steam room. (This is included in your stay). Excellent value. We had a drink in ‘the snug’ after we returned from the concert. Jack was present and was super friendly and helpful, certainly a credit to the company.

Tap in room 104 does drip, this did not influence our stay and could not be heard in the bedroom but just for awareness. Could hear early deliveries being made in the morning. We did have our window open in defence to keep the room cool, we were right beside where the van had parked. Maybe add a fan to the room to balance this issue?

The property itself is fantastic! Spa/pool area, are perfect and Immaculate! The bathrooms in the bedrooms are the best I’ve seen. Staff were all great!

What I feel let it down is having to walk through the restaurant to get to the pool etc. The other thing is, that, you have nowhere really to go for a nice walk so no matter what, you have to drive to find somewhere. The bar area/restaurant can be very noisy when busy..like a school canteen. The last thing that was a let down was the breakfast.. not what was given but the fact that it was cold, even the toast was very cold as if it had all been sitting for a while before served. We have been to this hotel a few times and never had a cold breakfast.

Great deep bath and shower unit, evening dinners and lunches perfectly cooked and served, lovely outside patio while sun shone, sports and swimming facilities for my disabled son who loved every minute of doing while I rested, kind staff. all of thoroughly enjoyed.

The light on ceiling near bathroom door and entrance door during night disrupted our sleep but we got used to after first night. Room a little dark during the day, could benefit from perhaps brighter ceiling bulbs on dull days otherwise coped ok with and not a big issue.

Friendly staff and comfortable setting. Rooms were immaculate and bathroom spacious! Had everything we could possibly need already in our room. Restaurant had a good selection of food available and reasonable prices too. Staff at restaurant were only too happy to help with all our requests and needs. Spa facilities were luxurious and worth the money

No complaints although would request not to have a room that interconnects with another as the couple in room next to us were arguing at late hours and making noise. (Not the hotels fault though)

From check-in to checkout, the staff were excellent! There were 17 in our party and we got a private dining area where Stuart, who was serving us all, was brilliant at serving us all. The bar staff were brilliant and always served with smiles on their faces. The room I had was a great Executive Suite and was more than we hoped for! One thing it could’ve done with us a fridge! That one thing aside, we’re already thinking of booking for next year again! Well done Parklands!
