The staff was friendly and efficient when we arrived around 4 pm. The pub had excellent food and drink. Our beds were really comfortable and the shower worked well. There was a fan to help with the comfort of the room. A/C would have been nice, but wasn't necessary.

Our room 3 was right next to the kitchen air vent, so we could not leave our windows open. Not really a fan of the smell of steak cooking. Room 1 would have the same problem. If we return, we'll know to request a room on the opposite corridor. Of course, it wouldn't be a problem except in hot weather.

The room was comfortable, clean and cosy. The staff were kind, helpful and courteous. Breakfast was lovely. My Full English was made specially for me (and had not been made in advance and left under a hot lamp). They catered for food allergies without a problem and were very nice when we were a bit late to check out. I have a relative living nearby and will definitely book another stay in future. Very pleased with my choice.

Great central location for traveling around East Anglia. Clean, comfortable & quiet room with a powerful shower, TV, coffee & tea making facilities. Very friendly service, good choice for breakfast & main meals were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Car parking can be non-existent if back after 5 on Fridays & Saturdays even the car park opposite can be full. Can park in some of the side roads.

The room was very nice. Not huge but well appointed, clean, tastefully decorated, had a nice new classy feel to it. Excellent lighting and light switch location. Decent sized TV. Plenty of tea/coffee etc. Bathroom was of a similar standard. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Everything was efficient, room explained, breakfast choices etc. Full english breakfast was delicious. Good parking

No food served in the evening on a Sunday was really my only complaint and mainly because the menu looked excellent and I was looking forward to it. Had to go elsewhere, which is no big deal really as that is how it is at most B&Bs. Access to my room was via a nice circular staircase. No issue for me but perhaps those with limited mobility may not find it so charming.

Great quality food - both at evening meal and breakfast. Suggest booking evening meal at busy times as the pub seemed very popular with both locals and visitors. Staff were fantastic. Bed comfortable and room & bathroom all very clean. Kettle and amply supplies of bevereages in room.

Difficult to find any fault, but I would add a note that rooms are accessed via a narrow spiral staircase, so something to consider if you have mobility problems.

We were very pleasantly surprised by everything to do with our stay; delightful staff, excellent food and drink, an electric fan in our room, a very clean en suite with super shower. We hope to stay again in the not too distant future.

The bannister rail on the spiral staircase and a couple of the iron spindles need attention, which I'm sure you will be dealing with. The toilet seat in the en-suite needs to be tightened.

The only thing about this stay that tarnished it slightly was the two noisy ladies making a racket at 1am and again at 4am. Apparently they had been to a party/club after the Christmas party. Woke me and my friend twice, fortunately we managed to get back to sleep fairly quickly. Perhaps a large handily placed sign reminding people to be respectful and quiet might help?

Easy to reach from Thetford where I was visiting my daughter. Facilities were clean and well maintained - the bed was great and very well suited to a 6ft plus couple. Breakfast was excellent.

Car park at the property was confusing (which were the pub spaces and which were those for adjoining properties - we were given guidance after arrival). The rail in the shower came away in our hand, but we managed to refit it to complete our showers, and we reported it on our departure. Minor points

Clean and comfortable rooms with a good shower, plenty of storage space and serves really nice food! Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back when we have a gig in Thetford in the summer.

Our only slight issue was the staff only door near our room being open and closed a lot at one point during the night with someone or people going in and out which woke us both up for a while but overall it wasn't a big problem.

We had a superb dinner and a fabulous breakfast. The waiting staff on both occasions were so good . They were efficient and helpful with pleasant personalities. A credit to the pub. Room was comfortable and clean with a good shower.

The room was a little warm but it was an unusually hot September day. The room had a very good fan and an opening window so we were comfortable.
