I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Watling Inn Hotel in Nuneaton, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the friendly and accommodating staff made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and they were attentive to every detail, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were immaculately clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I had a fantastic night’s sleep. The hotel's location is ideal – it’s close to key attractions in the area, yet tucked away enough to provide a quiet, restful atmosphere. Parking was easy and convenient, which was a great bonus. One of the highlights was the breakfast! It was freshly prepared, delicious, and offered a variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. The dining area had a warm, inviting feel, perfect for starting the day on a positive note. Whether you’re visiting Nuneaton for business or leisure, the Watling Inn Hotel is a wonderful choice. It offers exceptional value, comfort, and service – I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to the area.

While the complimentary Wi-Fi worked well in public areas, the signal could be improved in the rooms, and the breakfast, though fresh and satisfying, could benefit from more variety. Overall, the hotel provided everything I needed, from free parking to a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would highly recommend Watling Inn Hotel for its affordability, comfort, and excellent service.

the staff were very good, The Meals we had ( Dinner & Breakfast ) were very good. We will stay there again. We have already recommended them to our family and friends

We live in a very quite part of the Country ( Rural Devon ) so we are not used to traffic noise our room was in the front so I could hear the noise of the A5 . Another guest said she was in the back of the Hotel and it was very quite so we will always ask for a room at the back .

We saw a few reviews about the property holding “at risk and homeless” people so we were initially hesitant. We shouldn’t have been. We were welcomed and shown to our room. It was a basic double room but absolutely fine! Working shower, Netflix on TV, comfy bed and they honestly couldn’t do enough for us for breakfast. They were all absolutely lovely. As for the “at risk and homeless” people staying there - they caused no bother and I absolutely had no problem being in the same property. I would much rather people be under a roof than out on the streets. It was lovely for the price.

This was our second stay at the Watlington Inn and once again it was a joy. The place is in the middle of refurbishment but it was still comfortable and clean. The ladies who run the place are amazing , they couldn't do enough for us and are the friendliest staff you could meet. We can't wait to see how it is when the refurb is complete

The only complaint we have is a lack of mirror in the bedroom but I'm sure that's in process. The road is an issue but there's nothing that can be done about it we still managed to sleep even with the windows open

So glad we found this little gem so different from places we have stayed before, on arrival we were made very welcome shown to our room which we loved the fact its all on one level, nice room with very comfy bed with drinks making facilities, not to far from the centre as we were going to a gig at Queens Hall. So what can I say about the breakfast it was freshly cooked to order and tasted delicious just what we needed to set us on our way. Would I stay again that would be a big fat Yes thank you .

The whole experience the staff by far the most helpful and friendly I've ever met I can't tell you enough how accommodating they was and soooo friendly the breakfast came in with the price of the room hundred per cent worth every penny I would have paid for the breakfast I'd was not included and the coffee was amazing I will definitely be making regular trips here

basic but fine. very clean. very comfortable bed. Very friendly attentive young mam- service over and above.

bathroom a bit cold and stark. A heated towel rail would make a big difference. Bedroom cold appearance - a picture/ painting over the bed and over the dressing table would really warm up the atmosphere. Lose the piped music at breakfast.

As always the staff were welcoming on arrival and was told the rooms had been refurbished. I had my usual room when in the area and was pleasantly surprised with the updated room, the bed was comfy and a lovely hot shower. I had a peaceful sleep as usual and really enjoyed the fresh cooked Full English to set me up for the day ahead.

I always try to stay here when I'm in the area Can't fault anything I will definitely be staying again

Great hospitality, staff at reception was very polite and friendly. Great breakfast with vegetarian option. Our room was very clean, with all the facilities required. Comfortable bed and had a good night's sleep.

Bathroom had low water pressure when turning on hot water tap. WiFi signal in room could do with improvement.
