The room was large enough, the large bed very comfortable, and everything was clean. Lovely towels. There was a well equipped kitchen for common use as well as a lounge/dining area. We were lucky to be able to park in front of the house. Our room was in the back of the house, so no traffic noise. A food shop nearby and some good restaurants / pubs not far. A pleasant half hour walk to town, or a little longer walk along the river.
There is a step down to the kitchen. My wife almost flew over: please put up a warning sign. I’m not convinced that we were given the room that we paid for. We enquired but did not get a reply.

I am a female solo traveller so my security is paramount at all times. I felt safe here. Although l did not meet the owners, l was given full e mail instructions regarding my stay well before l left home, such as how to access the property with codes for entry to the premises. I did not need to bother to phone a mobile number to ask for assistance. This attention to detail made me feel that l was a valued visitor to this beautiful Guest House. I was extremely happy with my double bedroom with ensuite and the fact that a kitchen area was available for use was very handy. I only stayed for one night so l did not use the dining area in the conservatory at the back of the premises but this area was clean and welcoming to all staying at this gem of a Guest House. I look forward to booking another stay here in the future. Many thanks.
Nothing springs to mind as all was available as advertised. Excellent value for money and still close to Oxford City. I did not use the buses but l did note that they seemed to run on a regular basis.

I stayed here for a few days for a work trip at Oxford University and really enjoyed staying here - only 5-10 min bus ride to the university area and quiet neighborhood. There is a cafe and a grocery store nearby. The price is very reasonable given the expensive rate near the university. The shared kitchen was super clean and was very well furnished.
Everything was great except it was a little bit hard to find the place - there is no sign mentioning "Iffley House" - however I followed the address carefully and was able to find the place. The place is not very distinguishable from other residential housings.

The room was cosy and comfortable. A single bed with armchair, bedside table, drawers and clothes hanging space. Perfect for the short stay. The window opened and temperature was good. Entry couldn't have been easier with the door codes supplied in advance. There was a very large and well equipped shared kitchen and a nice conservatory and garden area with furniture for guests to make use of. No one was using any of this when I arrived so I had it all to myself. There was also a small selection of books to read.
No shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom was disappointing.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was nicely decorated and very clean, with massive white fluffy towels.
We would have liked tea making facilities in the room. On Sunday morning checkout was at 10.30 AM . Unfortunately the only staff member we encountered during our stay, who had come to clean the room, rather persistently knocked on our door from 10. 00 AM , making it clear she wished us to leave.

Good location, lots of facilities nearby. A coop next door and bus stop across the street into town. Self check in system was easy, codes given for doors. Room was clean and tidy, shared kitchen with all amenities and a dining room too. Towels provided were large and comfortable. We arrived before the room was ready but we were allowed to put our bags in the room so that was helpful.
No kettle in room as one is provided in the kitchen, so no cups either. Also no shower gel or hand wash so don’t forget to bring those either. Not an issue at all but something to take into consideration - maybe bring your own?

I really liked having a communal kitchen with facilities. The room was extremely comfortable and I had everything I needed. Nice linen, clean bathroom.
Not much! Not a lot of staff around at any point if you had immediate queries (although very responsive on Whatsapp). There was a bit of confusion re: the access code upon check-in, which wasn't a great experience. I think this was a once-off, though, so not really fair to see it as a usual occurrence.

Was just going to stay 2 nights. I was initially placed in the top floor, the tiniest room I have ever been in! In spite of the fact I kept hitting my head on the walls, I was willing to stay because it was clean and comfortable. When I decided to stay one more night, I was moved to the ground floor-bigger space, bigger bed, bigger toilet! I still have nicks on my head from all the bumping, but I do not regret staying here. In a quiet area so a good night’s rest is assured. Also close to River Thames walking path, farmland. Close enough to the city and rural Oxford. Highly recommended—if you happen to stay on the top floor, obey the sign, MIND YOUR HEAD!

The place is easy to find, and no-people check-in is very effective and easy. Location is good in terms of cafes nearby: easy to find both good dinner and good breakfast. I also like the room design. I also like the patio, very nice and comfy place. Alo a great sunrise from the top floor garden view room. And very quiet (compare to London) even with the open window.
It's pretty far from the centre, and on the top floor it was pretty hot overnight. It's because of the heatwave, but still. The fan didn't help. The open window didn't help though it was cooler outside.

The room was lovely and clean, it was a very decent size for a double room and the bed was comfortable. Access to the building and the room was really easy too :) We would definitely come back and stay again!
We saw that they had 2 parking spaces which are first come first served but they were unforunately taken when we arrived. The streets around the area are all permit parking (from what we could see) so we had to park in a car park nearby instead which was a bit of a shame
