Very well equipped kitchen for breakfast preparation- eggs, cheese, yogurts, several types of milk and cereals, nespresso coffee and fruits. I also liked all the toiletries in the bathroom.

Room no. 3 (the room with the external bathroom) has a very, very creaky bed with a very hard mattress - whenever the other person moves, the sound of the creaking bed is sure to wake you up; combined with a hard, uncomfortable mattress, it's a recipe for sleepless nights. Having the bathroom on a different floor than the room in a house full of other guests is also a bit uncomfortable, but we were aware of this beforehand.

Property was spotless and very well-appointed with 'hotel' slippers, tea, coffee, towels, bathroom supplies, a washer-dryer, and lots of breakfast options. My single room was on the small side but adequate for my needs and facing a private courtyard where I ate breakfast. I only had a flying visit, but this property had everything I needed and more..

My access code didn't work to open the door, so I had to ask a stranger to call the host to let me in remotely (my overseas mobile didn't work here).. This added 20 mins to my check-in time and was stressful. Some operational instructions for the stove top would have been appreciated. Would stay here again through. Host (who i did not meet) very helpful and responsive.

Dorota and the team were very amicable. I stayed for 9 nights for a birthday getaway: there was a card and box of chocolates waiting for me on arrival and their recommended restaurant was perfect for a birthday meal. Dorota made herself available during my stay and even checked-in half way through to see if we had everything we needed. The room was clean, well decorated, and well stocked. The location was within easy walking distance of Oxford town centre, local amenities, and close to routes to tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

The parking layout means cars may be boxed in so some foresight is needed to avoid being woken by or have to wake other guests to get out in the mornings, however this proved only to be an issue one night out of nine. Parking permits were provided on arrival so we could park on the road without charge if we needed to which was much appreciated.

It is a house in which several rooms are rented. The rooms and the services are fine, everything is very clean, and everyone from the service and/or house we met was very nice. They also have a lot of things for breakfast, which is self-service. Besides, they have a small backyard that you can use to have some food.

It was hard to locate the house because it had no signs over it. The only visible sign was the mechanical locker. This is not the case for all the rooms, but ours had the bathroom outside and downstairs (our room was upstairs). Three parking slots are marked in front of the house, but they block each other. We had no problem since the only time there was a car blocking the driver was in the house at that particular moment.

It was a very cozy, home-like stay. Everything in the room and house was neat and clean. The room faced the garden, so it was very quiet. Had a very good deep sleep. We had very warm days, so it was nice to eat outside in the garden. Also it was great to be able to use the kitchen for cooking. And breakfast options were sufficient! Excellent value for money. We particularly enjoyed being close to the river and nature. Thank you very much, Dorota!

We were happy with everything.

Simple room with parking and a 20 minute walk away from the centre of Oxford. Everything you need for a day of exploring the city. The breakfast at the place is nice to have. Good value for the money.

Our bathroom was downstairs, next to the kitchen. This itself is no problem, but the opening/closing of our room door made a lot of noise and this was bothering me as I try to be as silent as possible, especially at night/ early in the morning.

We had really nice stay, it was walking distance from town centre or if you wish there's bus stop near. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. Happily we would stay again when visiting Oxford!

We had private bathroom, but it was located outside of the room. That wasn't problem for us, but might be for someone, just read description of the offer because there are different rooms. Some with bathroom inside. There were only 3 parking spaces and you have to be careful to not block someone else who might leave before you. Nothing from above was an issue for us though

The room had everything you might need including ironing facilities, a safe and toothpaste (!). Everything was beautifully clean and well presented. We both had a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds. There was a good selection of items at breakfast and Dorota was very helpful over the phone.

We were led to believe we could book in early and although this was not expressly promised we were a little disappointed that our room was not available mid-afternoon. Just an observation rather than a complaint - the TV could not be tuned to BBC or ITV although Netflix was available.

This was my first experience of not staying in a hotel. As it turned out, it was very convenient: the presence of a washing machine, a full-fledged kitchen with all the utensils for cooking = almost like at home :) There is an excellent store nearby, bus stops, walking distance to the city center is very close. I definitely recommend these Comfortable rooms in the house to everyone as a great place to stay in beautiful Oxford.

Everything was clean, the location was within reasonable walking distance from town, and the breakfast options, though minimal, were rather good. In particular, I enjoyed being able to walk along the Thames to get to the university area (going along a small, quiet path).

There were no real issues, though the bathroom was a little small for someone with longer legs. Other than that, I have nothing negative to share here.
