A good location and a comfortable place to stay. Whilst there is no kitchen sink as per the accommodation details there is a good size fridge with a little ice compartment and a microwave, We used the bathroom sink to wash up anything we needed personally (took a little bottle of washing up liquid and a cloth with us for this purpose) and the crockery and cutlery you just rinse and leave on the side. There was milk, bread and a selection of cereals/jams/marmalades and drinks provided. If you want to explore the village there's 2 heritage trails on the Wheatley archive website. My daughter has limited mobility and having everything on one level was fantastic as was the walk in shower. There are 2 small steps into the property which she needed assistance with but other than that it's flat inside and parking is just by the gate to the small courtyard area so she didn't need to use the wheelchair here.

The accommodation was first class, the attention to detail was impressive, even down to a torch close to the entrance door to illuminate the lock. The host met us upon arrival to ensure everything was in order. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, with little touches that made it feel extremely homely. There are clearly marked instructions within the property to ensure everything was easily operated, electric shower etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, beds were very comfortable

I have to say that there is nothing that I could identify I would want to improve within the property. There is no sink within the kitchen area but I knew that upon booking and simply used the sink in the bathroom to wash the dishes.

In a very unassuming suburban street it's a little hidden gem of a place. So many facilities squeezed into one place but still felt spacious and comfortable. Lovely food treats and supplies for that personal touch. Bed was very comfortable and the location was nice and quiet. Also appreciated being able to lock the bedroom door for extra privacy. Easy to follow instructions from the owner for a contact free check in and check out. Great service and felt looked after.

The only negative, which is a tiny one, is the patio door giving a view of the owners garden. But this was covered with blinds so no real issue.

It was comfortable and well equipped and it has patio doors to a private garden we could sit out in to have breakfast. The bathroom has a walk-in shower which was ideal as I’m disabled. The property also has a ceiling fan and a free-standing electric fan which we found essential as the weather was very warm during our visit. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

We had trouble using the key code on the gate to access the property. However, the owner was happy to leave the gate open for us when we needed to get in.

Great location, peaceful and comfortable, with lovely touches from a thoughtful host. Really appreciated milk in the fridge, along with breakfast which we enjoyed outside in the courtyard. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, games for wet days, WIFI worked well, torches, and instructions all very clear. Possibly need some easy directions for coffee machine for those who don't know how to use this particular one. Ceiling fan was also appreciated in the warm summer weather.

Nothing negative to write, there might have been one too many emails with directions etc, but that may be something to do with Booking.com policies.

The place itself was well catered for with everything you'd need for a pleasant stay. Really clever use of space to ensure the annexe was cosy and clean

I've stayed in many places that aren't hotels on the platform over many years and never had negative feedback . However this vendor decided to not just complain that 'you haven't taken your rubbish ' but sent me individual pictures of 2 tea bags on the holder, an empty water bottle and shampoo sachet in the bin. If I'd left a lot of rubbish and damaged things fair enough but this was just silly

The property was in the picturesque village of Wheatley, a 5-10 min walk from the pubs. The room was clean and spacious and the surrounding area was quiet. The bathroom was clean and light, the shower was good. The twin beds made a comfy double and we slept well.

I didn't like that the bathroom sink doubled as the kitchen sink and there was no dishwasher. Washing up in that small sink was awkward and somehow unhygenic.

I loved the quality of the furnishings. Nice coordination of colour scheme. The extensive options for a cold breakfast. (really coffee, juice, milk, butter, jams, bread, porridges, yoghurt, selection of tea) Good facilities in the kitchenette.

Possibly a glass panel for the walk in shower rather than a curtain (Perhaps I'm being too picky) The rest of the shower room/toilet was very high quality.

Great location for travel to Oxford, safe and secure parking. Breakfast options were multiple. Whole place was spotless. Bed was really comfortable and it felt like home from home. Caught a bus literally 2 minutes from the front door. Amenities were really good, smart TV and digital radio. Bathroom and shower were great. As mentioned there is no kitchen sink, but that was made clear before booking, I wouldn't think it was suitable for a longer stay.

Depends on your personality! It's very friendly, but I thought the communication was a bit overkill -multiple text messages to my personal phone number giving me mainly the same information that was already in the booking message. I don't want my phone number to be used by the accomodation unless it's an emergency and found it a bit intrusive. I prefer the anonymity of a hotel, but acknowledge you don't get this level of comfort with that! I would also recommend they remove the capital letters from a whole paragraph of information in the booking message, it feels a lot like being shouted at and isn't very welcoming.

We had complimentary milk and other bits which was nice

It was a little too hot and we wasnt sure which windows we could open. We were informed however after the stay it was actually possible to open the windows with the pole in the apartment so we will know for next time 😊. Would suggest more signs next time to help unsure guests who aren't confident to ask.
