Easy to reach with free parking on site, clean and comfortable beds, all necessities like ironing board, fan, hairdryer etc. Coffee and tea in the room and a couple of packaged breakfast items as well as fruit provided for breakfast, which was fine. The food at the pub is thought to be very good, but unfortunately, our schedule didn't work out for us to enjoy that meal. From the inn into Oxford it's a very short and easy drive by car.

Nothing really, the host was nice and the room was perfectly fine for our one night in the area.

Lovely little pub with friendly locals. Authentic and very good Thai food which was a very nice surprise! Very reasonably priced drinks and food.

I went to bed fairly early as I had an early start. I did get disturbed by people coming out of the pub to smoke and chat. There is a sign saying 'please don't smoke and chat outside the guests'rooms.' But of course people smoke and chat without reading a sign. Personally not a big deal, I got to sleep and it's all over at 11pm anyway. But it is worth being aware of you have had a long day and will have an early start.

The Queens Head was a lovely place to stay and was ideal for our one night stay. The room we stayed in was attached to the pub and was more than adequate for what we needed. Jason and his team were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beer went down well and the food was excellent. Myself and my son had a great stay at this local pub and will hopefully return one day. Keep up the good work.

Have stayed here before. Information says breakfast not included BUT tea coffee milk and sugar provided PLUS apple banana chocolate chip bun and porridge per person also provided and included in the price. Certainly enough to get you on your way in the morning. Room tidied daily, good beer in the pub

can be a little noisy outside the room in the evening if there is a function on. But not a big problem

A beautiful country Inn with oodles of charm, picturesque historic surroundings, and friendly staff and patrons. The room was small but comfortable and well equipped. A great, spacious bathroom. Owner was extremely helpful when the TV developed a fault. The food in the bar restaurant was outstanding. We had a roast the first night and Thai the second. Both superb. While the Inn is not open for breakfast the room is supplied with fruit and snack bars. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Great historic church nearby.

That we couldn't stay longer.

Breakfast was provided in the room - continental good standard; fans provided were useful on hot day (no air con); tea & coffee good standard; staff excellent. lovely location and aspect in small village on bus route to Oxford or easy drive.

Stairs at entry; another trick set of stairs inside the room entry door; another set to loft. We left our larger bags in the car. Not much to not like really.

Continental beakfast ideal for us. Manager Jason and his staff were friendly and helpfull. Having never tried Thai food before we were unsure what to order, the loverly Thai restaurant chef came through and explained the menu, as I am not a curry lover, I chose the padthai, which was delicious, Many thanks to all the personel.

The whole experience was delightful, enjoyed the property, and the friendliness of all the staff. No complaints whatsoever. Looking forward to another visit in the Future.

Welcomed by Jason who made us feel at home and gave us information on area. There is a nice peaceful atmosphere to the place. We had a lovely meal in the pub's Thai restaurant. Parking and Wifi both excellent and you are 10 minutes by car from the park and ride that brings you into Oxford, Bar was very busy as it was a Friday evening.Basic continental breakfast in your room.

As our room was just outside the bar rear exit I would imagine it could be noisy on a busy night. However we had a great sleep.

The location was perfect, near my destination of Waterperry Gardens. For a city dweller, the village was delightful, green and quiet.

I would have appreciated a toilet brush in the bathroom. Lots of older people, including me, have digestive troubles, and would like the chance to clean up after using the toilet.

The room was cosy and the bathroom was very clean. The 3rd bed on the mezzanine floor was a special treat for our daughter. Having the pub and restaurant downstairs was ideal and we highly recommend eating at the bistro, especially if you enjoy Thai food. The Pad Thai is amazing. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much.
