Has been tastefully resorted and updated and is a little slice of luxury! The rooms are beautifully decorated, bathrooms are finished to a high standard and the common areas are beautifully finished with lots of lovely, nautical touches. Gin and tonic in the room on arrival was a lovely touch. We had to move rooms due to an incident out of the hotel’s control. The staff could not have dealt with this any better and moved us to a new room. Hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Fantastic location, and a true feeling of being on holidays in this hotel.
Lift was broken for the duration of our stay, we felt the hotel could have offered some compensation in lieu of this as we were on the 3rd floor. Parking is quite expensive considering we were already paying for the room. Disappointing to have to pay extra for a hot breakfast (we did not do this, but would have expected hot breakfast to be included in the price).

Clean and stylish
Shower room floor drain completely block so had to take drain tray out so I did not flood the bathroom. Staff in breakfast room could be more friendly, a greeting of good Morning we won’t be too long, rather than ignoring us as we waited.

The room was lovely. The hotel was clean and bright with really nice decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. 5 mins walk to the centre of Padstow. Wonderful views.
The breakfast was not good. We weren't expecting to pay another £20 per day if we'd wanted a poached egg! Jam was very poor. Food was totally exposed to numerous people helping themselves with no covering. One day there was no yoghurt or croissants. There could have been more choice. It would take very little effort to upgrade the whole experience. Because we'd booked through booking.com, we had to pay an extra £10 a night for parking for some reason. It was a struggle anyway with it being cramped and full most of the time.

Location was perfect. Lovely hotel including parking. Free bike hire (cycled part of the Camel trail). Staff were welcoming and friendly. Felt relaxed and accommodating. Can even borrow wellies if needed.
Breakfast did not start until 08:00 (Sunday).

We were walking the SW coastal path and our days walk took us from Port Isaac to Padstow. We arrived very tired, so were hoping for a nice quiet room and comfortable bed, and we were not disappointed. The room and bathroom were both enormous and beautifully decorated. It was very quiet even though we were located at the front of the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant and the buffet breakfast the following day. Both were excellent and more than enough for 2 hungry walkers.
We were surprised to receive an email from the hotel after booking stating that we would need to pay an additional £10.00 per person if we wanted to have the cooked breakfast. We didnt bother and it was the right decision. The continental breakfast was delicious and the staff were happy for us to continue to graze at our leisure.

The location was fantastic and it is worth paying more for a fabulous sea view. The gin in the room was a lovely touch, much appreciated. Bikes available and super friendly staff. Great to have continental breakfast included in the price with the option of paying extra for cooked. Excellent selection. We ate once in ‘the Jetty’ restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the food. Lunch good too especially sitting on the sun terrace admiring the view.
My only criticism is that the floor in the restaurant needs sweeping much more frequently and certainly every day before breakfast! A stray broad bean from our dinner was still there at breakfast next day along with other crumbs!

Celebrating my wife’s birthday, we had very enjoyable stay at the Harbour Hotel Padstow. Special thanks to Caroline and Heather who went the extra mile to help us in our celebrations. The hotel room was a good size and very comfortable, providing an excellent night sleep. The tasty food and friendly staff in the Jetty Restaurant with views over Padstow Harbour were exceptional, making this one of the best places to eat in town! On one of the mornings we took the hot breakfast upgrade which was beautiful and delicious, but for the other two days we had the inclusive Continental breakfast which provided a broad variety of fresh fruit, the most delicious muesli, various yoghurt options, cereals, pastries, meats and cheeses. It made for a delicious and extremely satisfying start to our day! In short, a lovely hotel, with delicious food, amazing staff, in one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall, this is definitely a place we recommend and would visit again!

The staff were very friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. There was service with a smile, and always, 'can I get anything else for you'. Lovely views of the harbour from the dining room. Our room was cleaned daily to a good standard. Our complimentary bottled water was refreshed.
The wooden shutters on the bedroom windows spoilt the view, if you opened the shutters you couldn't see the view from the bed. We thought that £10.00 per person, per day, for a cooked breakfast was rather expensive. We stuck to the continental breakfast. The parking directly outside the hotel should have been for disabled drivers only, I'm disabled and have difficulties with walking, so to be able to park outside would have been a great help.

The location is brilliant for everything you might want to do in Padstow. The room was exceptionally clean.
Stating that breakfast is included is misleading. It's a continental breakfast and not cooked. To be asked to pay an extra £10 for a cooked breakfast on top of the cost of the room and the £10 per night parking, is nothing short of daylight robbery. We had an estuary view room which was at the top of the hotel and was cramped and stuffy. Goodness knows what it's like in the height of summer. It was my husband's birthday, a big one, so we decided to eat in the restaurant. We were seated in good time yet were made to wait 15 minutes before being asked if we wanted to order drinks. I was ready to leave and eat elsewhere. All in all, we've decided to stay elsewhere in future.

Having visited Padstow and stayed there many times I decided to try "the hotel on the hill". It met expectations. The lift was extremely useful for my partner who has difficulties in walking and with stairs (though we understand there are also rooms for those less abled). The view from the dining room is excellent and the breakfast and dinner were enjoyable.
The one disappointment was that we could not dine on the Monday evening as it was fully booked. We were told that there were plenty of places in the town -- and then discovered that most of the dining places pf comparable standard were closed on Mondays, hence the hotel dining room being booked out. It would have been useful to know that. On the other hand that gave us an opportunity to try the room service which was timely and of good standard.
