We stayed during Storm Darragh, during the night thr power went out. The staff were great, they managed to cook bacon sandwiches for everyone and were really helpful. We left to visit family, staff were helpful in letting us know if we could reach our destination in the storm. Through no fault of the hotel, the power remained out. With the conditions on the road we didn't wish to drive in the dark and made the decision to leave the hotel early. I cannot fault the hotel and they handled the circumstances admirably. I would definitely use the hotel again. Maybe I'll try to visit when there isn't a red alert storm warning next time.

The location of the hotel was nice and remote away from the hustle and bustle of the local town giving you a sense of tranquility and a chance to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving you a sense of being made to feel welcome there. Booking a table in the restaurant was very easy online through the Booking.com app and the food when it was served was delicious and to the right size portions so you never felt and the portions size for the food at breakfast were just the same. The room itself was nice and spacious and the beds themselves were very comfortable and soft making for a very easy nights sleep. I would definitely consider staying here again if in the Pembroke area.

An unexpectedly superb hotel which started with a delightful dinner with great service. The room was cool after a very warm day. It was comfortable and clean with a great bed. The shower was in the bath but had plenty of power. Breakfast service was fast and v efficient and all that you might hope for. I often judge a hotel by it's breakfast. The location is lovely - it's completely on its own in the middle of the countryside but amazingly close to the docks and the town.

There was nothing I didn't like. If I were to be picky the reason I couldn't give it a 10 because I'd reserve that for a luxury hotel with a range of pillows including soft down pillows :)

Firstly the location of the HOTEL is in a beautiful setting with far reaching open countryside views with immaculate trimmed and shaped shrubs and bushes set alongside the hotel, it is so tranquil the perfect place to totally unwind when the human batteries need recharging .My husband and I stayed in a deluxe room which has two large windows overlooking open far reaching and garden views to the rear of hotel and views to the side ..Hotel and room beautifully cleaned and the large double divan bed very comfy glad no wooden footrest at bottom of the bed as my 6ft2 hubby has trouble stretching his legs out so nice bonus for him.Good size ensuite bathroom with shower inside the bath with rubber bath math and two strong handles on the walls to assist getting in and out..great safety measures including non slip flooring..These things are not always standard in some hotels/ guest houses.Two chairs and small table also in the room to sit and admire the views..no biscuits present (shame) to go with cuppa but very tasty cooked breakfast and very tasty toast too was had by us both.This is our third visit to the hotel over a period of time and it never fails to impress us well done to all staff concerned.we only stayed the one night if longer I would have asked for another pillow as the two were a bit low for me but thats just my personal preference.

The location was beautiful, the room was lovely with a beautiful view of the gardens looking into to Pembrokeshire. The bed was very comfortable which enabled us to have a good nights rest which was the main plan of a spontaneous getaway for the night and the breakfast was delicious.

Next to the bed there was a draft from the window as it didn’t fully close, not a major issue and didn’t cause us any grief but just thought I’d mention it for to change it for future customers.

We stayed at the Beggars reach for an impromptu getaway one Friday evening for the weekend, I hadn’t looked into where we were going, it was cheap and the location was perfect so we crossed our fingers! This place did not disappoint!! The rural location set in pristine grounds with cows on the field next door and complete silence at night was idyllic. I love the old country house style like going back to grandmas house, but normally in old historic properties it is a little run down, but beggars reach had the old school feel with being one of the most cleanliest places I’ve been too, would beat a 5* London hotel hands down for cleanliness! Sue the head of housekeeping also serves morning breakfast and was just lovely!! As were all the team whilst we were there. It’s hard to come by places anymore where you actually feel looked after, here we definitely were. We are going back with the kids next year as it’s within 15 mins of Tenby to dip into the craziness and come back to tranquility! Thank you again for making our visit to wales a nice one.

Excellent place to stay, unfortunately we were not informed at check-in that they were not serving food in the evening. We were not provided with recommendations but found a pub (The Jolly Sailor) serving great food with lovely costal/estuary views 1.4miles from this accommodation so we’re glad we left the property to dine. Apparently Beggers Reach was about to change ownership which explains why there was no chef on and a limited number of people staying.

The hotel is a beautiful building and has stunning gardens. The individual private buildings were perfect for our booking. The staff were extremely accommodating and being able to come and go was brilliant.

The lanes that lead to the hotel are not for the faint hearted. There’s an area of the lane which is full of potholes which caught us off guard and has unbalanced the wheel but there was a storm with heavy rain and wind which made visibility more difficult for us.

When we arrived we were greeted by Will the owner who welcomed us to this beautiful property. Our room was ready for us so we took our case up, it was beautiful and faced the garden with far reaching views and so quiet, we then got a drink from the Bar and sat outside looking at the fabulous scenery so peaceful and relaxing. Will checked to see if we needed anything else and I asked about the history of the property which was very interesting. We booked for dinner which was delicious. The breakfast was also plentiful and the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Wow! What an amazing place! Owner was absolutely lovely. Made us feel completely at home. Hotel is immaculate. Such a cozy feeling with super comfy bed and the best bath I’ve ever had in a hotel! I have no idea how they manage to keep the grounds looking so pristine. Breakfast was perfect with a good selection. Dinner was also lovely. Really great atmosphere throughout. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Everything was fabulous. Will definitely recommend.
