Just left a wonderful 2-night stay at Tudor Lodge with our toy poodle puppy, Patsy. It’s very difficult to find any fault. The room (No 1) was spacious, quiet and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was faultless - so fresh and tasty with more than enough choice. The staff that we met at breakfast each day were so very welcoming and friendly towards us and Patsy (who felt like she’d met new friends for life). The location was perfect for us, with a drive about 10 minutes from Tenby, 4 minutes from a pub in Manorbier which served incredible food both evening and a local garden centre called The Potting Shed that sold the BEST homemade cake I think we’d tasted in a long while. The only sad thing about Tudor Lodge is that the bar and communal aren’t open for guests to use. I imagine it’s sadly not financially viable, it’s just such a beautifully cosy, welcoming area and I could’ve imagined sat down chatting to the people we met over breakfast (and Patsy’s new puppy friend Nelly). Food and drinks are thankfully welcome in the rooms, so having a small fridge in each room would be a nice touch (if only to keep Patsy’s food fresh and my gin cold). Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again though and would highly recommend.

A lovely building in a quiet location. A comfortable spacious room with a large bathroom and it was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The staff were also friendly and made you feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning in the near future

It's such a shame that the pub and restaurant is no longer open and that you have to drive to the nearest pub. There was a pub up the road but it was closed for refurbishment and a local fish and chip shop which is open from 4pm to 8pm. This however has not put us off from booking into this lodge again.

Easy self-check-in. Parking allocated. Well kept grounds. Accommodation block set back from road so no immediate traffic noise. Well presented room. Tea and coffee and kettle. TV. Helpful management. Plentiful adequate breakfasts well prepared. Well located for beaches in both directions along the coast, and to Pembroke and Tenby. Tudor Lodge is getting going again after pandemic impact, so pub section of bigger building currently open for breakfast only, and pub not yet re-opened. East self-check-out.

The room was clean and bright. The shower room is spacious and overall the accommodation has everything you need. The breakfast was superb with lots of choices. Easy to find the location and free parking .

The distance in between the bed and the wall is pretty tight as not much room. 2 ladies were screaming at each other and banging the door the entire night. From 10 pm until 5 one was running up the stairs and screaming at the other one to open the door. Absolutely unbearable and it spoiled the entire night as we couldn’t sleep at all. Although not owner’s fault our whole experience was terrible because of those two guests .

The location was beautiful, nice views and a short drive away from shops and resturants. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The bed and furniture were very comfortable and she sheets were nice and soft. The bathroom was immaculately clean and the whole room was kept at a nice temperature. The place felt very safe and secure as the front door is kept locked. I really liked that each room had its own designated parking space.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Room spacious , Ensuite huge & lovely , bed super comfy , very clean , one word “Superb” !! We had an evening meal at Tudor Lodge which was again excellent , fish of the day Sea Bass & Home made Lodge Burger ,food , service & location perfect !! This was only topped by the Full Welsh Breakfast we had the following morning , I’ve stayed in many places over the years but that breakfast was just about perfect in every way , to the point it motivated me to pop my head in the kitchen door when leaving & thank the chef personally , it really was that good 👍🏼 We set off on our return journey home when leaving Tudor Lodge , totally refreshed with big smiles on our faces , I’m not sure when but I hope we’ll be back there again !! Big Thanks to all at Tudor Lodge , job well done.

Catch on wardrobe door abit stiff !! (That’s a joke - everything was excellent )!!

Room was exceptional, beautifully decorated and such a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was very tasty

Just a few minors -toilet seat in room 5 needs tightening, shower leaking so constant drip. We didn’t have any bath towels in the room but they sorted that out straight away-but we were still a towel short . We could have done with bath towels as the towels provided are quite small. Also not sure what was making a noise but there was a noise like a generator or pump which was almost constant -that was quite annoying. The only downside to breakfast -no marmalade. We stayed for 2 days , on the first day they said they ran out , but as a couple of people were asking for some I think they could have shopped locally to provide it for the second day, which didn’t happen.

The room (room 5) is superb. Huge comfy bed, spacious with plenty of storage & the bathroom/wet room is to die for. Very clean. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. Staff very friendly

It is very quiet here, which we do like but would be nice maybe for the bar to be open for the occasional drink. I understand it used to be a thriving, busy place so it's a shame the restaurant isn't open at all.

The lodge has a nice road side appearance. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, both my husband and I had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was served between 8.30 - 9.30am. We chose the Full Welsh breakfast on both mornings. It was delicious! The lodge is in walking distance to the local pub which was very welcoming. One of the best accommodations that we have stayed in.

Sadly the bar and restaurant in the lodge were not open during the week. I was kindly notified by the owners prior to our stay of the situation.

Beautiful clean room, very comfortable bed. Nice quality touches such as tea/coffee/water/biscuits. Welcome note in the bedroom was clear and easy to follow. Didn't have breakfast but from the quality of everything else, we were sorry we didn't have the time to do so. We will definitely be back. It's beautiful accommodation in a beautiful area with plenty to explore. It felt better than a hotel and the staff were very friendly.
