The room was spacious, not too warm (great in July for hotels without air conditioning), comfortable bed, bathroom looked recently redecorated. There was good wardrobe space, sufficient space to work from the room on a laptop and overall very quiet - not much noise from the road. The free Wi-Fi was very reliable. Plenty of car parking. It felt safe. Every member of staff I spoke to was friendly. Reception and corridors very tidy. Close to supermarkets and restaurants.

I couldn’t fault anything. Hotel is clearly getting back to being open to the public again and I think will go from strength to strength. Advertised as room only, no on-site restaurant, which was fine for me and there were plenty of places nearby to get food and drink.

Staff are fantastic and a credit to the hotel. Most complain about a lack of room kettles. I prefer having access to proper milk and not the tiny servings you would usually get in rooms. Pleased to see a microwave added. We really enjoyed fresh popcorn during our stay.

Just needs a little love to lift it up a little and make it visually more appealing to colustomwrs

Excellant staff and provision of facilities to make it easier to cater for yourself. This accommodation is simple, but perfectly clean and comfortable and excellant value for money. I’ve stayed a number of times before and will stay again.

Very basic decor, a few small touches could make a big difference, but this doesn’t deter me from booking.

Clean, comfortable, friendly welcome on arrival. Plenty of parking. Very nicely presented reception. I can't understand the bad reviews, it was very nice.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but there is a lounge where you can use the kettle and tea/coffee/milk. It's also a few minutes walk away from a McDonalds and a Starbucks.

The only thing to fail it was that there weren't any tea making facilities in the room you were supplied with them in another room down the corridor

Although it’s a little worn around the edges and there is no bar or restaurant the room with en-suite was comfortable and very clean. No kettle in the rooms but there was a lounge area where tea and coffee and a microwave were available for self-service.

Friendly greeting. Nice room, nice fresh bedding. Clean room Nice towels. Requested extra pillows they were there. No problems.

We had to endure very disrespectful guests arguing most of the night. So, not a lot of sleep.

The bed was ultra comfortable and sheets and towels spotless. There were finger prints around toilet roll holder which I didn’t like to see during aftermath of the virus. Bur that’s all. Piping hot water too. I thought the meals in restaurant were over priced. £9 for a shepards pie is far too much.

I asked for a spoon and fork and cerial bowl to eat snacks I bought with me. Reception staff not friendly. Upon arriving they asked I’d I had a reservation but they could of said hi or hello and open ended if questions like have you travelled far for a little conversation. But nothing. I couldn’t stay the second night ad my meeting was cancelled so I’m also hoping I get a refund too. I left the hotel at 11.20 am

The hotel was in a quiet location and I slept well in a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly, the hotel was easy to find and easy to navigate around. It was good that there was a bath as well as a shower.

There was no food in the hotel - not even biscuits to go with my cup of tea. Though the hotel was close to a good diner in a different hotel. The walls were not soundproof and I could hear conversations of other guests in nearby rooms and other things.
