From the moment we approached the gate there was an air of exceptional attention to detail great presentation and when we checked in there was a warm welcome from the young man on reception. Our room was clean comfortable and well equipped and breakfast in the morning really well presented and of high quality. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the highly maintained grounds create a beautiful setting It would be an exceptionally good choice of venue for a wedding reception or family celebration. We both really enjoyed our short stay.

Just idyllic. Stunning setting and beautiful well presented hotel. It was a quiet night when I stayed so, no bar or restaurant, facilities but they were more than happy to warm up a meal I'd taken with me . Room spacious, bed massive. Really hot water for bath or shower . . Can't fault it

One slight issue.. wifi signal was poor in room 10 I used my hotspot so wasn't an issue. They had offered an alternative.like I said really helpful

Position. The hotel has one room en suite with separate shower and caters for mobility problems and they booked it for us. The room was away from busy road so no road noises. Great breakfast. very convenient. Comfortable bed and extra pillows available in cupboard. Coffee and tea facilities in room. Would stop again.

No socket to charge iPhone right next to bed. people in room next door made loud noise when arriving at their room. was not informed on booking that no meals were served on Thursday evenings which was very inconvenient.

Nicely renovated old house with character. Good English breakfast Friendly staff . Safe parking behind the hotel gate. Great one night, stop around Wolverhampton!

My room window overlooked the fields but still had traffic noise from the main road. Window Isolation could be better .

Spacious comfortable rooms, location on main route into Cannock in a Countryside setting,, quiet despite being on a busy A road. Secure car park with entrance gate. Friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast.

Bistro menu limited and no bitter available for shandy for our personal taste but not an issue.

Really smart hotel with a farmhouse look, rooms nicely decorated and immaculately clean, friendly helpful staff, sold walls and floor, so no neighbour noise, breakfast excellent, close to motorway links, and A449 for wolves, my new go to hotel when I’m working away.

Couldn’t find anything

I'm glad that the premiere was fully booked because I came across this lovely gem of a hotel. Plenty of parking, the staff were welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast and evening meal was bob on. I will definitely return if I'm in this neck of the woods.

Absolutely nothing.

Hotel and staff were lovely. Only issue was that the restaurant was closed in the evening on both nights because of staff holidays which I wasn't aware of until I checked in. It wasn't a real issue for me because we had planned to eat out on the first night but we would have liked to have had a meal there for the second night with our family that we were visiting. There are plenty of places to eat in the area so it wasn't a major issue. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The staff were really friendly and very helpful. We ate in the Bistro the evening we stayed there, the food was very good. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a little dated but very clean and comfortable, I think our stay was very value for what we paid.

Would have been nice to have a chair in the bedroom (there was a stool) but not a major deal for one night.
