The Hotel is a beautiful premises, clean and inviting. Easy to find and plenty parking. We felt safe and comfortable.
We requested a room with 2 single beds, when we arrived it was a double bed, but also the room felt it was catered for 1 person, only 1 cup, 1 glass and towels for just one person. When we rang reception, they sent someone up immediately to change the bed, but we never got extra towels. Also the service at breakfast the following morning was awful, we waited a full hour from when we sat down to actually get our breakfast. Very slow service, i understand there was only 1 person working the dining room, but felt extra staff could have helped out. As we were leaving the dining room, we were then falling over staff. Crazy. Also waiting in the bar for ages to call a drink - while 3 people working behind the bar and it wasn't all that busy.

The choice for breakfast was good but too much carbohydrate in the cooked b/fast. Soda bread OR potato scone but not both. The cooked breakfast was otherwise excellent. We have used the Seagoe several times and the location suits us perfectly. We were very impressed by the staff at breakfast, they were exceptionally professional and attentive. Gold stars all round. They are a great credit to your business. We will definitely see you all again soon.
There was absolutely nothing that we would criticise. One aspect we found amusing was, due to the location of our room (which, BTW, we have previously occupied) the sound of cascading bottles going into the bin early on Sunday morning.

Very clean and well maintained: corporate feel if you like that predictable and standardised feel. Balcony bar is great for drinks (excellent Negroni) : good atmosphere, especially for a hotel.
Room rate is a bit high for bed and breakfast and although the breakfast staff were extremely helpful, along with all the staff, the breakfast was a little underwhelming, especially considering the charge.

The staff was lovely and easy to talk to, and happy to help with movement around the area, even fixing an early morning americano ☕️ to enjoy outside during the beautiful warm morning
Everything worked, I turned on the shower and the water was warm,I open the curtain and it slide open easily, my room was quiet and always clean. I like the simple design in my room and easy use of safe, no codes to try to remember, Most importantly, great staff

Breakfast was very good and my wife's need for gluten-free food was happily catered for. Waiting staff were pleasant, friendly and attentive. We could ask for nothing more and commend all of them.
On arrival there was a hint of frost from reception. We arrived at ten to three and were sniffily informed that we were too early and that the room was not ready. We sat in the foyer for forty minutes in full view of the receptionist and were left severely alone. It was only after our patience ran out and we approached reception that we were granted entry to our room. We have stayed in the Seagoe before and this experience, although relatively trivial in the grand scheme of the whole, was a disappointment. We returned to the Seagoe because our previous stay was so good, hopefully our next stay will erase the sense of disappointment this time.

From the reception to breakfast staff, everyone was professional, smiling and ready to help. The room was excellent: spacious, with modern high quality furniture and furnishings, nice design, lovely soft colours, good lighting, with a good tv. It all looked newly done. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom had all we needed. Switching us from a room with a shower to a room with a bath was no issue, which we appreciated. Good hairdryer and safe, perfect wifi. The hotel was easy to find with plenty of free car parking. The breakfast food was very nice and tables were nicely spaced out. Definitely a four star hotel.
The breakfast coffee came in a large teapot and it was so weak and insipid that only the name had "coffee" in it. That must be improved.

Front desk was friendly. Restaurant staff were very friendly (except the breakfast folks seemed super understaffed and stressed - well as stressed as Portadown folks get which is not terrible). The food was excellent and the rooms and facilities were super clean and well organised.
I'd only just complain about one thing - the first night we stayed in the furthest room which had, for some weird reason, doors segmenting the halls and we had to stop with our bags and open about 7 doors individually. Not sure why these doors separating the hallways are necessary. Bit frustrating when carrying bags.

I really enjoy staying at The Seagoe. Comfortable and quiet, with lovely, welcoming and efficient staff, this hotel constantly exceeds expectations. Very comfortable - and large - beds, with good quality pillows, and good bed linens, ensuring a good night's sleep. Good food also!
A small fridge in the room would make the stay perfect, as would a (small), complementary tube of toothpaste.

Location was perfect for our needs and the food was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Beds a little hard and pillows too shallow, woke with cricked neck. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved. There was a wedding party on the Saturday so the bar area was very noisy. Breakfast service on the Monday was a little slow, think we were forgotten once we were shown to the table as we had to get our own menus and call the waitress's attention to place our orders.

Breakfast was good, varied selection. Staff very accomodating especially at reception. There was concerns in regards to booking, twin rooms to be changed from double rooms. But Ladies on reception resolved this very promptly and with due care to our situation of a large young group. Also payment methods from Euro to Sterling was accomodated very appropriately through my phone app which saved me some money.
Not really a lot for young teenagers to do. Bar cant facilitate them as it was after 9pm.
