The room was spacious, airy and had all you need for an overnight stay. The bed was so comfortable. It was clean and had towels, hand soap and toilet paper. Lovely place to stay and will deffo stay again. I love that the pub was next door as it was handy for breakfast. The gentleman on reception was nice and friendly too which always make it easier when it's a new place. 😀 An absolute bargain for £40!

The only thing I wasn't too pleased with, was the smell of the room. It smelt like beer or lager, as if a drink had been spilt and not cleaned up too well. I'm really sensitive to certain smells, and it almost had a funny whiff which wasn't pleasant. There also was only one accessible plug socket, so I was glad to bring my extension cord.

Room (2) was accessible and it had plenty of room for me to move around in my wheelchair. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and if we needed anything we only had to ask. The one thing I was impressed with was the Toilet roll WHICH WAS a toilet roll and not those 6x6 inch little sheets of horrendous toilet paper, so a good 7 out of ten just for that!!

The hot water tap in the bathroom sink never actually got hot! This needs sorted as soon as is possible. Plus something quite strange, the bedroom carpet was away from the wall on the left hand side of the window, and curled over at the other end at the bed head side. It really needs to be addressed and corrected as soon as possible, as it does not look very nice at all.

The hotel was great mostly. Friendly and chatty staff on arrival, rooms were fab, a little bit of wear and tear but nothing major, spacious room for a family of four and all the basics to keep everybody happy. Easy check-in and check-out, ample parking. Very comfy and quiet and the food at the Greene King was great as well.

There was a rather pungent smell of cannabis when we returned one not with our young kids which wasn’t ideal in the slightest and resulted in the kids asking what the smell was (5 and 8 years old). We were in the very first room on the down stairs corridor which was a family room corridor so didn’t really appreciate the smell especially where the family rooms are.

Our room at our hotel was very clean. The prices for staying there are great. We was there a week and was surprised when booking n it been for a week on the prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made you and ur family feel welcome and also over at the restaurant area too. The only thing u may find is trying to get a phone signal but to b fair been out of the preston city centre, but u can expect it. U are out in the sticks abit but has a great restaurant there and also has a garage over the road. THANK U for making our stay a great experience. DEFFO RECOMMEND for families.

The price could not be cheaper! Spacious room, comfy beds. The kids had a bed each. Room was clean. Excellent value considering the price we paid. To be honest we didn't expect much because of the cheap price but we were surprised at how good the hotel was upon arriving. We had breakfast at the restaurant right next to it which wasn't included in the room price but the food was good with reasonable price. The staff at both places was so friendly and helpful. All in all a very pleasant stay for us.

Without exception all the staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of spaces in the car park. The hotel was a bit tired but the price reflected that. The bed was great. Room was spacious. Wifi was good enough for streaming but kept disconnecting if not used and difficult to log back onto

Friendly helpful staff. A two night stay which was affordable in price. I arrived by myself and the lady carried my bags to my room for me as I had 3 bags which I thought was really kind. It was peaceful, warm and cosy room. The bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out of it. Lovely location with local pub, Costa cafe and morrisons local and right near the places I needed to go. I'll definitely visit again.

On first impression the property looks good from the outside and did not disappoint on the inside friendly helpful receptionist and even sent an email that we left something behind which is being sent back to us this was going above and beyond which was very much appreciated also restaurant staff and bar staff very friendly and welcoming and helpful

Shower was difficult to fathom out with no instructions in the bathroom we eventually found the part at the bottom of the shower pipe to push up and down for on and off

Rooms were great and clean. Food was fantastic and served promptly. Great little play area outside for the kids (wouldn't leave unattended due to the car park and main road). We just missed breakfast when we checked out but it was no problem as you can just order from the normal menu and it was very good. We had 2 family rooms next to each other for £56 each, great value!

Tv was fuzzy so couldn't have it on for the kids. One single bed had no duvet but was sorted when mentioned.

Great space for families - all in one room but in no way felt cramped or restricted. Bathroom felt private despite sharing a room with the family, and really appreciated having the choice of a bath or shower. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location with plenty of parking and play park to keep the kids entertained.

Had to go over to the pub as no staff on reception when checking in. Not a long way but slight inconvenience with 2 kids and luggage.
