Lovely breakfast and such hospitable warm hosts. We were given a comfortable warm room with a suite as we stayed there 3 nights. Everything was of such a high standard, with little touches like room service everyday. Steve and Claudio could not do enough for us and were so helpful with solid advice about the area and where to visit. Despite being in their home we were able to have a peaceful and private hotel style break. Well worth every penny!

The location was fab, the house lovely, well decorated, 2 rooms only and our room was a suite, with small living area & en suite. The breakfast was excellent, lovely produce & cooked to our liking. Steve & Claudio were excellent hosts. Even buying Lactose Free milk for me. Very impressed. Bed was king-size but a bit soft for us. However, it did come with a top sheet, which was great as it was v hot. Big pedestal fan available along with heater and iron. Tea/coffee was good and they offered a few alcohol options.

I'd been told by message that it was a short staircase up to the room. As I have limited mobility, to be faced with a lovely but full staircase with 2 turns, was exhausting after long days out & inaccurate. Also, parking was in a layby opposite. Plenty of space but not private.

Cosy, warm and plush decor throughout. Tidy and clean. We stayed in the Keepers Suite which had a bed at one end of the room, ensuite and 2 armchairs by a tv at the other end. Felt spacious. Delicious cooked breakfast the next morning. Friendly and chatty owner. Griffin Inn was a 2 minute walk away and served delicious food in a warm and cosy restaurant.

Bed was a bit soft for us but that’s more a personal thing.

Everything about Keepers Lodge says quality. Our welcome was very friendly. The room was beautiful and breakfast was great.

Our room suffered from a bit of road noise, although it’s not a very busy road, and noise from the ‘church’ clock chiming on the hour throughout the night.

Very clean, beautiful house, exceptionally welcoming hosts, great location and lovely comfortable. Gutted we missed breakfast we imagine it would be amazing

Very clean and well maintained. Very attentive service. Near a lovely pub.

Parking is across the road and the overhanging trees made it a little tricky but not a major problem.

Delightfully clean; fantastic bed; superior furnishings. The hosts made extra effort to provide exceptional comfort and style.

A very warm welcome was received into what can only describe as a spacious, beautiful and immaculate room within a home that is truly amazing. The hosts were very friendly and open to offer local recommendations of were to eat etc. The setting of this lodge is stunning, a quaint quiet little village with just the sound of horses galloping past the room and church bells in the distant. The breakfast was lovely, plentiful with a choice of full English, cereal and toast..or all 3. We will definitely be returning and already recommended to friends to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! We ate at the local pub which is 2 mins walk away, this was perfect for what we wanted from this mini break. Parking is directly across the road in a layby which was no issue as plenty of spaces.

Lovely place in a quiet area. Impeccably clean and had all the necessary facilities. The bed was very comfortable, perfect after a long night at a family wedding we attended. Very tasty breakfast also. Owner was a great host! :)

We were visiting my son who lives nearby and the location was perfect for my partner and I. The views from the room were lovely, horses in a field and woodland greenery. It is a beautiful property and the owners were very pleasant and welcoming at all times. The breakfasts were great too!

It was all fine, nothing we didn't like.
