The area is lovely, staff where pleasant enough had all that we needed.

The area is out of the way which means if you need anything it's a bit of a pain, train station is only next to it though but for full experience would be better with a car

We were upgraded from a room to a whole chalet, can't remember exactly why, but it was much appreciated. Breakfast was nice, but scrambled eggs were originally overcooked, so they made us some more, which were fine - thanks!

I stayed in one of the superior double rooms and loved the fact that I could park right outside the room and enter my room via the patio doors. It felt more private which I liked. There were facilities around the area like laundry and there is an Indian restaurant attached to the hotel which is great! Rooms are cleaned everyday, with towels being replenished daily.

The key fobs. There is a large room number plate that is on the keyring for the room which makes it difficult to fit in a pocket. The keys jangle quite loudly when opening any doors, so I was very conscious of waking people early in the morning.

Room was brilliant, even had a small outdoor space which was convenient and lovely to sit in during the evening. Wasn’t sure what to expect for the price but it was great. Really well furnished and perfectly clean. Second time we’ve stayed at the marina and both times have been great. Out of hours staff/security who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. The food at the Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious and good value too. The boathouse cafe was perfect for breakfast and the walk around the marina was lovely.

The room was very warm at night. We adjusted the thermostat and opened the patio door but I think the setting should be set a little lower as standard. The bed was quite firm. Didn’t bother my mum but it was a bit hard for me.

Situated on a thriving marina, the hotel consists of ground floor rooms that open on to a little private outside seating area. A short walk through the luxury cabins takes you to The Boathouse, where you can enjoy a good cooked breakfast over looking the large collectipn of narrow boats moored on the marina. The receptionist was welcoming and obliging, the room was spotless with a good sized TV and French windows leading out to a table and chairs in the garden. We stayed an extra night as we liked it so much. The second night we enjoyed a fabulous Indian meal in the on sight Indian restaurant.

Nothing. The bed could have been a tiny bit more comfortable but it was perfectly adequate.

Staff, location, room, clean , great place.

Shower temperature not as hot as it could be but didn't effect the stay as it was warm weather.

Really lovely little place . Greeted by a pleasant man and lady at reception , check in was smooth We stayed here for one night because we had a party close by , we were given cab numbers and told about where we could get food and drink , there is a Indian on site which looks impressive but we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to try it . All staff and residents on site were very friendly . We had a drink in the boathouse which is good value for money staff were attentive and welcoming . We stayed in a delux double room that was clean comfortable , Modern and well equipped. The areas around the marina are well kept , it’s a really peaceful tranquil setting We attended the restaurant on our departure date and was really looking forward to a breakfast which again looks good value for money , but we were told that no food was being sold and the coffee machine wasn’t working. This was really disappointing as this would have been the end to a perfect stay . We will return and stay for 2 nights next time and try the Indian and hopefully have no future issues

No breakfast or coffee available and no where close by to yo use as an alternative.

Comfy bed, room had everything that was needed to make a lovely stay. Lovely Indian restaurant on the site where I had a great meal and can highly recommend. Staff were very friendly, checking in and out very easy and quick.

Purely a personal opinion. The room could do with darker/heavier curtains as the room was very bright from sunrise. Also there was a green light above the bedroom door which i guess was for safety reasons (exit light) but was on all night. Again, purley personal opinions as i am a light sleeper, but this wouldn't deter me from coming back!

Comfortable bed, lovely and clean and coffee facilities in room. Lovely fresh towels. Great to have patio doors leading outside. Great quiet Location, perfect for a short stay.

We only stayed for one night, so didn't get to look around for other facilities, however on checking in, we were told that the cafe/restaurant bar wouldn't be serving breakfast due to annual leave. 10am for checking out seemed a little early, most there places check out would be 11am. Shower tray filled with water whilst showering, as well as the shower head needing descaling.

Very nice big room, good double bed, clean bathroom, Indian restaurant next door sold very tasty takeaway !! Very good Full English Breakfast in the Boathouse cafe by the river …very nice location, lots of canal boats…

I did NOT like that Booking.com charged my bank card for two nights stay three days before my stay started ! As the cancelling/ altering is frre until 24 hours before the stay starts !! So I could not alter my booking to one night instead of two nights as Booking.com had already charged my creditcard 🤬 inspite of their message that I was free to alter or cancel And I could only stay for one night !! So booking.com owes me over 100 GB pounds Thank God I used a credit card !!👏 So I will ask for a refund …
