The staff were very helpful and friendly. Because of a private event when I arrived I had to carry my luggage through the bar, up flights of steps and down. The staff helped me by pulling and carrying my suitcase. I was given clear instructions about how to get back into my room if I returned late. My room was small but entirely adequate for 2 nights. The guest WiFi did not last long so I walked back to the bar and I was given access to another stronger WiFi signal. Breakfast was tasty, although I was given a slice of brown bread instead of sourdough. When I queried this I was told that they had run out of sourdough.

Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant on site with good reasonably priced food. Cleaning was excellent. Towels so soft and bed comfy. Very relaxed. Even though there were events on while we were there we were not disturbed.

Difficult to use shower as temperature regulator was jammed and water too hot. I reported this to reception for safety of future guests and they reacted well even offering to move us to another room. We declined as we were leaving next day but i was impressed with their reaction

room - although small, the room was comfortable and clean. The kettle is not able to be filled in the tiny sink, and there could have been a towel hook/ring by the sink, but otherwise it was absolutely perfect.

location - The overview for the rooms states that they are on the ground floor - they are, but you have to go up stairs, then down stairs to access them. There should be a way to go round the building instead, especially as my parents are in their eighties and stairs are more tricky for them these days. But the view over the gold course was lovely.

Clean cosy room. Very comfy bed. Good shower. Nice little extra’s. Lovely location on the Golf course. Nice meal in the bar in the evening. Friendly staff.

Very noisy extractor van in shower room. No mirror on long shelf/table. Lovely big mirror in the little hallway but had to keep going backwards & forwards doing hair/makeup standing up. I personally like to sit. Even a small mobile mirror on it would be nice. Not a major problem though.

It's set on a golf course, ⛳️ everywhere you looked had amazing views, it was very peaceful, the food was very good, the staff very friendly, room and bed very comfortable, had extras like tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits also bottled water. Shower was big , plenty of room and a lovely hot shower. Loved the place.

Nothing bad to say, it had everything I needed, I would recommend it, . I got a taxi from Hatfield station paid £21 , the following morning I booked one with the help of staff it cost me £12.50 so I got ripped off the night before so just watch out for that.

The room was reasonably priced on a night when other hotels in the area were not, and the room was comfortable and clean. The bed was turned down / towels replaced(?) on day 2 which I didn't expect.

I was slightly confused upon arrival as there's a sign pointing to the rooms, but reception is as the bar. Once I went there I was greeted by friendly staff and given the info I needed.

The price was great, location good. Can't fault it over all. Nice view over the golf course and great staff. Small room for the single I had but the bathroom was great and spacious, better than expected. I was staying there as a stopover on business. Perfect and lots of parking. There was a nice friendly buzz about the place.

It didn't bother me in the slightest but it is quite busy and noisy. The room was just below the bar area with music and people there till late. Plus in the room I had, no phone signal. Not the venue's fault but I rely on my phone connectivity however the WiFi worked well.

Was expecting the room to be noisy as below the bar but soundproofing excellent. View of the golf course which beats the air conditioning units or the car park.

The bar was exceptionally noisy so we had to sit outside to hear ourselves talk but luckily it was warm enough to do so. Would have been a bit crowded if everyone from outside was inside too.

Beautiful clean room everything we needed for a lovely stay love that it was ground floor, bed was very large and comfortable lots of of socket in room which was great tea coffee biscuits hot chocolate, lovely big wet room very comfortable place to stay staff very friendly and helpful loved our stay, they said it maybe noisy but a little while bar was open which is understandable, but we found it was peaceful had a lovely quiet night too. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing all was perfect

It was super convenient for what I needed and great value for money. Whilst it didn’t really affect me, The View made it clear that there was an event on during the evening, with the option to cancel my booking… but the event stopped on time and it was just a bed for the night. There was also an issue with the heating but I informed the staff and believe that this was then out right!

I wouldn’t need to stay for longer than a night, but it was a good stop over venue
