We had such a comfortable and inviting stay. The rooms are extremely clean and provide everything you need for your stay, the beds are comfy and it’s very quiet so you are not interrupted. Aside from the room itself the staff are absolutely great, they are very accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Matt and Karl in particular on the night team were fantastic, so friendly and ensured we got the most out of our stay. I travel to Sheffield a lot and I can say that going forward this hotel will be my go to place. The location is also perfect.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were also extremely helpful. Hotel location being in the city centre was a bonus and extremely quiet at night. The staff even do hotel entrance checks in the evening so random members of the public can't just walk in

Hotel parking. Great that you get a discount for using the very nearby public car park (remember to validate your token at the reception though before leaving). No the real issue was just exiting the car park requires very tight driving manoeuvre so please be careful. Also breakfast although it was plenty full was not the best quality

It’s Modern and the rooms have plenty of space and comes with every thing you need. We stayed in the executive room and the little extras are a lovely touch. You get 2 bars of chocolate and a sparking and still water plus a nice coffee machine. The bed is massive and so comfy so had a fantastic sleep. We had our breakfast to our room and it was delicious and the choice was fantastic. The staff are amazing especially Matt who dealt with us amazingly he’s so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, he is an asset to Leonardo’s. Will definitely be returning this is now my favourite hotel.

For once photos actually are a true representation. Fantastic hotel, very clean, beautiful, spacious modern room. Comfy bed & lots of good quality pillows. Loved the parabane free soaps & fluffy white towels. Liked the additional security measure of using key card to access the elevator from reception area but didn't check to see if same was required to use the stairs from reception to various floors. Layout of room was great- good mirrors, useful placing of plug sockets for hair dryer etc Large window opened so great to have fresh air! Hospitality tray had fruit teas too- great for bedtime, snook downstairs to buy a late night packet of crisps- fantastic to be able to buy snacks later on. Staff lovely, great place to stay - reasonable car park charge in adjacent car parks. Leadmill a short walk if going to a gig there ( recommend). Didn't explore area much - drink in bar, light bar meal ( all ok - standard hotel fayre, veggie menu a bit limited tbh) then off to Leadmill.

It’s an amazing hotel for the price. We have stayed twice and always paid the upgrade to executive. It’s worth it. We even had breakfast this time and wasn’t disappointed. Great hotel and friendly staff.

My only slight issue is the complimentary drink we get with the room. Whilst it’s ‘free’ we obviously pay extra for these bits. I wanted a larger shandy for my husband but the staff either didn’t understand or it wasn’t allowed but a pint is. The list give you the option of a shot of most spirits too but doesn’t say whether this comes with coke etc. I felt the staff weren’t sure either (the picture implicated would say it does). It’s a minor gripe just needs a little clarification and understanding from the staff.

Very short wait on check-in and a lovely staff member at the desk explaining everything clearly. Clean room with adequate facilities and plenty of power points for chargers, etc. Nice sized TV, reasonable view from the windows on the upper floors too. Water & Tea/Coffee facilities were perfect and clean. Breakfast was really nice with freshly cooked "Full English" well laid out, and cereals, breads, etc well stocked

The bathroom could be a bit better - the shower goes from cold to hot in a very small amount of movement and it's just a bit dated. Toilet seemed to drip and the cistern gently refill all the time - possibly just overflowing and needing a washer though, so not a major issue,

Our stay was part of a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend. I had mentioned it as part of my booking expecting maybe a small note or something special left in the room. The team at Leonardo were kind enough to give us vouchers for free coffee from the bar for both days of our stay as well as a free alcoholic drink and a discount on food at the restaurant. Then when we got into the room the team had left us crisps, chocolate and cider. Lovely touches to make a wonderful wee trip even more memorable. Gold stars for all the team at Leonardo Sheffield.

We were in an accessible room which was fine but it did mean everything was slightly lower down and the bathroom was more of a wet room. Not a bad thing just not really suited to us I suppose.

We booked because it seemed the best hotel for the money close to the Leadmill, where we were attending a gig. £113.40 B&B for 2, via booking.com for a Premier room (704) on Valentines. Rather than parking in car park suggested by the Hotel (£10 for 24 hrs), we elected to use the (uncovered) Euro Car Parks Matilda Road just behind the hotel (£8.70 fir 24 hrs). We could actually see the car from the restaurant at breakfast. Check in was welcoming and went smoothly. All public area including corridors and swish lifts were clean and really attractive. The Premier room had a double and single bed. Not huge but big enough with a spotless bathroom. Bed was a dream to sleep in - possibly the most comfortable I have experienced. Linen was crisp, clean and white. Would have liked a less firm pillow - however I always take my own little one. We ate out - finding a brilliant little restaurant called The Sheffield Hideaway - just behind our car! So close and so good! Breakfast was really good. Fresh fruit, fruit smoothie, cooked breakfast, tea and toast. Pleasant and efficient staff. Very enjoyable. The gig (Kenny Thomas) was superb - and I was delighted with our choice of hotel as we could walk to and from the venue, punctuated by the restaurant and then quick drink in a student bar. I chose for executive room and it was a very nice one. Not a big room but more than enough for one person on a business trip. I enjoyed the bath. Breakfast was good, but I think it can be improved with more things.

The parking is fairly close and it's announced that is 10£ per day. The problem is if you want to leave with your car twice in the day, you will have to pay the hourly rate. So after I came back from work, parked my car, showered and got ready to go out I paid additional 8£ on top of the 10£ for overnight. So if you have a car I would avoid choosing this hotel.

Easy check in, I liked the secure car park underneath the hotel as we were carrying a lot of equipment for a gig so it gave us peace of mind. The rooms were clean and tidy, beds were comfy. It was great for an overnight stay. Location to the Leadmill was a quick walk which was oerfect

Unfortunately due to staff illness we couldn't get any food at check in as there was no chef until 6pm which was too late for as we had to be at the venue. It can't be helped but it would have been good if they could have sent a message or email out to let everyone know. Our room was also very cold and the thermostat had been disabled, instead there was a plug in radiator in the room which took an age to heat up and didn't really warm the room, once in bed it wasn't an issue but again I definitely think for a modern hotel this needs rectifying.
