Easy access to Peak District and Manchester, Stockport train station and taxi rank are located next to the hotel. NCP car park very close as well. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Although the train station is right outside of the building you can't hear any noise. Good selection for breakfast with omlete, croissante, fruits and various cereals. The bar is open on the ground floor and serves food as well. The staff was polite and friendly.

On booking it says they offer 50% discount for the car park but the receptionist said they don't give a discount anymore. When using the NCP app you will pay less then paying at the machine.

Room was clean and tidy and had air con. Lovely big windows but no external noise - you couldn't hear any trains despite being right next to the train station.

Minimal vegan options. Non dairy milk was not available in the room. Soya milk and veg spread available at breakfast but nothing was labelled up with ingredients. Although vegan sausages available on request they were like dry cardboard (certainly cheap and nasty). I was able to have sausage, tomato, beans, toast and fruit juice as the only options for breakfast. It wasn't great but at least there was something on offer as breakfast included in room prices.

5th time we have stayed there, great location, staff friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable, food good.

Alcohol is extremely expensive! Tried on 2 occasions to pay the bill for the rooms and was told to come back later, went out for the day, and received an email and telephone call whilst out asking when I was going to pay. Had to explain we had tried on 2 separate occasions to pay and were told to come back later. Did not feel nice at all receiving a call and email chasing for payment when we had tried to pay!

Great room, big, modern, exceptionally clean. Everything needed was provided, exceeded our expectations. Night view from ceiling to floor window was spectacular as room was at the front of hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and something for everyone. Hard not to enjoy what you got for the price. Excellent hotel for a short stay.

Being at the front of hotel and a Saturday night stay there was some noise till late from the surrounding bars who must have had their doors propped open. The main issue though was the bed was rock hard and we had no more than 2 hours sleep between the 2 of us all night. Hotel subsequently confirmed beds were replaced every few months so maybe our mattress (was new and) would have softened with more use. Unfortunately as we both suffer from bad backs it was hard to get comfortable resilting in a poor sleep. Next time we'll contact the hotel in advance to request a room with a softer mattress. Based on other reviewers saying their beds were comfy, accept we may just have been unlucky on this occasion.

Good varied English breakfast with eggs, beans, hash brown, toaster, croissant. The 'pain-au-chocolat' was always gone or unavailable by the time we got there. There were two hot drinks machines with plenty of options. Orange juice, apple juice, water, fruits and a variety of cereals were available. Soya and regular cow's milk were available. Lots of places to sit. The WiFi worked everywhere. There was a McDonalds nearby if you did not like their food options. They do snacks at night like pizza and fries if you get hungry. In the rooms, you can communicate with the reception via a provided phone. You can request a wake-up call in the morning as an alarm. The room was really clean and tidy. There were plenty of towels provided, a comfortable bed with smart TV, an ironing board, an iron and hair dryer. There was handsoap, shampoo, purple kale conditioner in the bathroom and plenty of toilet paper. In terms of location, it was right next to Stockport train station, next to a taxi stand and you could sometimes see the planes from Manchester airport. It 's very close to the town centre of Stockport with a small shopping nearby. There were lots of food places to eat nearby. It was only 15-20 minutes drive from the airport and from central Manchester. It was close enough to the Peak District that we went on a few hikes around the area though it took us a good hour by car.

Would have been nice to have some slippers in the bathroom as we forgot ours. There are no free parking options though we managed to find somewhere nearby and decent. There is a massive car park nearby. Checkout is at 11:00 with no exceptions. We asked for an hour extension but it was no possible. When you come down for breakfast, make sure you take your room key card as you will need it for the doors. The heating was off and we could not figure out how to put it on during the second night.

A bright, clean, modern hotel. Very friendly staff, especially the super-efficient lady at breakfast who kept clearing away my plates (she knows who she is :-)). Quiet (good soundproofing) despite being next to the main station. Comfortable bed, good wifi, decent TV, iron and ironing board in room. Breakfast nothing fancy but more than adequate, good coffee and excellent grilled tomatoes! Ticked all the boxes for a short business trip.

Had I been staying longer than a couple of nights, the very limited storage space in the room for clothes and possessions would have been inadequate.

Make sure that you use the right NCP car park. Not the short stay, NCP app good. Don’t accept a room with a door leading to another room as just about no sound insulation if next room occupied. Needs one more member of staff in the breakfast room. Staff worked off their feet and can’t adequately clear tables or service coffee machines etc. Not their fault. Overall breakfast good.

Great location to travel by train, quiet at night and nice off road plaza although parts were fenced off, great views from room and public spaces, well designed bedroom and bathroom facilities and attractive reception seating and bar restaurant with good outlook.

Evening meal was not best value, soup not the best. Staff were pleasant on arrival and on ordering meal, but gave me misleading breakfast times, went a pre breakfast walk and staff were packing up before my meal was finished, they did make me a hot breakfast having cleared the buffet away.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and accomodating Location was really nice - close to town centre, had a nice bistro bar opposite which did food and a Sainsburys Local around the corner for any emergencies. Surrounding area was clean - nice grass area for a small picnic or little ones to run around Short walk to car park

Car park is completely seperate to hotel albeit a really short walk to and fro Highly recommend you register to NCP Park Pass so you don't have to pay on entry/leaving

Comfortable and Clean hotel with paid parking in the vicinity. It was very conveninent for us, as we drove in a rented car.

Having flown in at around midnight and arriving at the hotel around 1 or 1:30am, we did not appreciate that the sofa bed was not made, and that we had to come down to the reception to ask for linnen, and then make that sofa bed ourselves at 1:30am. The reservation was clear, in that we were a family of 5, with 4 adults and a 16 year old, an that therefore we would need the sofa bed. We were tired, and it should not have happened. Aside from that, we had a pleasant stay.
