Considering my Position during my stay due to bereavement the staff were fantastic especially Mr. Rohat on reception he was so accommodating and helped me well beyond my Expectations, all the staff at the village Cheadle were superb.
As my Age is approaching 80 years, a phone in the room would have been helpful just with direct contact with the reception, in case of any emergency, appreciating there is an app, I used the App once, but it wasn't successful, when I had no hot water for a couple of hours However Mr. Rohat sorted that out within minutes after my visit to reception,

The room was spacious with plenty of storage/hanging space, it was bigger than a lot of hotel rooms that we have stayed in. The double bed was very roomy and quite firm but not too hard. We didn`t have breakfast as we were off visiting friends and family and just grabbed a croissant and coffee. We had a meal the evening of our arrival and it was acceptable and nothing less than we expected. Finally the hotel is situated in a pleasant and convenient part of South Manchester.
We arrived and where given room 301 which had a bathroom designed for a wheelchair user. My health isn`t the best and was grateful for a ground floor room, but I can use my own two feet. The sink was far too low and my partner and I found it awkward to use. On arrival it was obvious that the sink had a large crack, although it wasn`t leaking. Finally the bathroom door lock was faulty, if you closed the door from the inside it was impossible to get out. I am not a complainer but I do find it irritating to have a parking charge on top of our usual hotel bill.

The pool and spa facilities were the best we’ve experienced with our two young children so far. The hotel itself was great, large sized rooms, comfortable beds, great bar and food offers on… really friendly, happy staff. Lovely touch was to give the kids a “sweetie coupon” that they could exchange on checkout if they’d been good! We just loved our whole stay and will definitely be back.
My only complaint is that the high chairs are rather redundant in their purpose because the tables are still so high that our youngest couldn’t really see/reach her food. The chairs that have their own table would be better, or purchase higher chairs for the little ones.

Clean, the room had a big tv, sky sports, bed was comfy, shower was good, room size was good, tea & coffee supplied, nice swimming pool and gym.
Our greeting by the receptionist on arrival. I found her un informative, very blunt and not very helpful, this really annoyed us and made a bad start to our visit. Bar staff - had to ask them to top our pints up as were being cut short, we then became the problem to staff. The room was provided with a dyson cool fan which didn’t provide any cold air, alls you benefited from was the noise, it also could do with a clean as a lot of dust was showing around the filter, the room was very warm and the windows could not be opened much, as we were on the first floor our blind had to be kept shut as there was no privacy from the corridors, these looked into our room! Great location, walking distance to Cheadle village with restaurants bars, shops etc, close to the airport. Easy check in/out with a very helpful young lady on reception. Good spacious room with super comfy bed, very clean, large smart tv, plenty of tea & coffee, kettle and 2 good sized mugs. Adequate sized bathroom with toiletries and fresh quality towels, ample hot water and good lighting, Good public bar area serving food and big screens for the sport etc Starbucks within the reception area. Ample safe car parking. Pool and gym facilities on site if desired, extra cost I think.
Room was very warm upon arrival so I turned off the towel rail, this helped a little but to be fair the weather.was unusually hot.The hotel is on the airport flight path so there is noise from that, but after the first night it was okay. There is a separate charge for car parking which I think should be included in the room rate.

Place had ample space, nice leisure facilities which accommodated our son as well. Staff were all extremely polite and friendly - really interacted with our 3 year old too, which he loves! There was one staff member checking us in, and throughout our stay - Alyssa, or Alessia maybe. I'm not sure, but she needs some recognition! Went above and beyond to make us feel happy with our stay and our son also loved his experience due to her!
Can't be helped, but we weren't expecting the planes every 30mins or so, throughout the night for the first night of was slightly uncomfortable for the wee one however second night onwards he was fine! Breakfast options weren't as vast as expected, or it was just that there weren't any labels on the hot food. We either eat halal, or vegetarian/vegan options, and this wasn't fully detailed on the food items so we didn't know if there were vegan sausages or anything for breakfast.

Bed was comfy, bathroom was decent and the TV was fairly big for a hotel which was a plus for us. Despite there being quite a few people downstairs watching the football, our room remained quiet.
Disabled parking were all full, after having checked only 1 car had a disabled badge up. Staff left a 'pleasant reminder' on some cars but nothing was actually done about it and I still had to use regular parking which was difficult to get in and out of. If you get a room near the lift it can be quite loud at times particularly if you are trying to sleep

Simplified check in if you wanted to. Big bar, restaurant. Starbucks, gym facilities, great food at the wedding we attended. Great staff, really friendly. The car park is free at the weekend and only ÂŁ5 for 24hrs during the week, which is pretty cheap.
We were booked into a room which hadn’t been made up but the staff were amazing and got it sorted straight away. A simple mistake which made no effect to the enjoyment of our stay. The A/C is not very strong which is normal in most hotels and for the vast majority of UK hotels you don’t get A/C. Our room was really hot but that is not the hotels fault. Maybe a fan in the rooms most affected by the sun would be a good touch. I never mentioned it at check out (due to the simplified check out and the fact I was wearing dress shoes and shorts I took advantage of a sharp exit) or during my stay so it would be unfair to judge the hotel on this.

The decor is awful but the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are all excellent and very friendly and helpful. The food at the bar is average and the bar very noisy. The pool and gym are wonderful. I wish the management would stop trying to do everything through the app when the staff are so nice to interact with. It is what makes a hotel worth staying at. I like the fact that there is a Starbucks so one has an alternative for lunch as there are no vegetarian sandwiches at the bar or soup. For me the location is very good. It is a very good hotel on the whole.
The food at the bar could be better and the menu include more vegetarian options with more simple meals,. I think it was better when it was enclosed as it is extremely noisy now. The decor is just awful and I look forward when it will be updated. I wish there was a proper chest of drawers rather than one small two drawer unit. No loo brush! Awful. Please put them in the bathrooms. They are quite cheap. It is not fair that guests are charged for parking on the weekdays. The room was very dark and the light very low to read at night. I better reading lamp would have helped.

Beds beautifully clean and comfy - room clean and smart.
The loud noises from nearby airport when plans take off was disturbing as it started early in the morning. Obviously not any fault of hotel - but that would be my only criticism. I stayed for four nights and on the day of check out decided that i would enquire as to the cost of keeping the room on for one extra night (before the room was made ready for new guests). Many people were booking out so i was quite surprised at the rate i got quoted to say a further night ÂŁ95 cheapest ? I chose not to ultimately because of cost but given the hotel was very likely to be emptying out on 26th - i thought perhaps it would have been better for the hotel to offer a discount in which case i probably would have stayed an extra night. Not a huge deal but worth a mention perhaps.
