Nikki is an exceptional host, her aim to make sure you are as comfortable and as 'at home' as you could be. I took my dog Frodo, and Nikki treated him like royalty. He immediately fell under her spell! Our room was absolutely lovely. Perfectly warm with very comfy beds (for both of us) and Frodo had a whole jar of treats and I was spoilt too with homemade biscuits. Breakfast was second to none, so delicious, beautifully cooked to order, well seasoned and just to say, the slow roasted tomatoes I had on the second day were knockout! I am awaiting an operation and can't walk far at the moment, but this is situated just a short walk from the beach which Frodo loves, so is also another reason to enjoy being here. Will be wanting to return. Nikki, you do an amazing job! Thank you

I found nothing to criticise at all!

Hosts were exceptional, lovely welcome as soon as we pulled up. Our room was really cosy and well equipped. Our king sized bed was so comfortable and plenty of cupboard space too. Breakfasts were cooked to perfection every day. Special little home made cakes and biscuits were there every day for us to enjoy, (which we did), a lovely gesture. Nothing was too much trouble and Nikki always had a warm friendly smile each morning at breakfast time. All in all, a great dog friendly guest house which is, as the name suggests, a "Stones Throw" from the beach and town. We will definitely return.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike as the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The room was very clean & tidy,with plenty of tea/ coffee making facilities. Niki was lovely & very helpful. We took our dog Murphy with us & even his needs were well catered for with a towel to dry him off & a bandana to keep him cool. You were quite literally a stones from anywhere you needed to go in weymouth. You even had a pub 2 min walk away up the street. Would definitely consider going back. Would definitely recommend a stay at stones throw

The only problem we had was that the bathroom sink was a little shallow & the shelf above was a little too close.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled amazing throughout our visit. It's clear that Nickie, the lovely host, pays attention to every detail, not only in the room but also to the needs of the guests. There were so many cute little touches that I couldn't mention them all, but they truly reflected the host's dedication to ensuring a great experience for guests. Nickie is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. We were so taken by the food that I forgot to take some pictures, haha 😂. Anyway I highly recommend staying here.

From the first email to the check in Nikki couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The welcome for our dog was first class with treats, bowls and a doggie bed..oh and the humans too with a gift of a delicious Dorset apple cake ! The property is cosy, the rooms are modern with good tea and coffee with fresh milk available great, the location is perfect for the beach and the town. Breakfast is great too with a good choice. On-site parking is a bonus too. We'll be back for sure..... lots to see and do in Weymouth.

Perfect location, close to the beach, shops and harbour, also ideally placed for buses to surrounding areas, friendly hosts, we were made welcome as soon as we arrived, the room was clean and comfortable, great quality towels and toiletries. Lovely homemade treats, fresh milk freely available for our room. On-site parking was a major bonus. Breakfast was amazing, a large choice and best quality ingredients. We loved it so much we will be returning.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

We were welcomed at the door and shown to our room. We traveled with our dog and there was a dogs bed and bowls ready for his arrival. Room was clean, cozy and well decorated. Location was central yet far enough away from the centre of town not to be too noisy. Breakfast was well cooked with quality ingredients and additional information about the local area provided. Nikki was an amazing host and we will be back again

The house was spotless throughout The breakfast was amazing and the treat tray of homemade goodies was so thoughtful. Excellent idea of having fresh milk in the fridge Bed was super comfy Bathroom although small was so well designed, excellent shower and really thick luxurious towels -they smell beautiful Great central location and parking too

Absolutely lovely couple of days at Stones Throw. Room very comfortable, brilliant personal touches like homemade treats each day and the breakfast in bed option was a winner! Great location, nice and quiet but really close to the beach and town. Lovely host, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

We were warmly welcomed by Pete the host and shown to our very warm, comfortable and well equipped room. We had access to fresh milk and homemade millionaires shortbread which was a lovely surprise. We slept well before enjoying a freshly cooked breakfast - we can really recommend this B&B. The location with onsite parking is also a excellent .
