From the minute you walk through the door you are welcomed with a smile. The rooms are comfortable and Adam and Symoane are only to willing to help if you require assistance. the rooms a very comfortable and breakfast is plentiful and again served with a smile.

Loved the place and our hosts from the moment we walked in. Adam and Symmoane greeted us from the moment we walked up to the front door, and warmly welcomed us in to their lovely bed and breakfast. Loved all of it, from their gracious hospitality, to the cozy breakfast in the morning, to the comfortable bed, and all the accessories we needed. They were friendly and eager to help us with any questions we had, and we're prompt with any requests we had.

A lovely couple who were so welcoming, parking onsite is excellent, information was all good, & the little touches like water, tea, coffee etc in the room, all toiletries in the bathroom if needed, I mean who provides a heat mat for hair straighteners I've never seen that before, they have thought of absolutely everything!! & Just a 5 minute stroll to the lake, lots of shops & eateries within 2 minutes, fabulous 👌

Everything was spot on, if I was to say anything it would be shower over the bath rather than walk in shower would be difficult for some, but you know this when booking so it's not a negative but just something to consider if this is manageable for you.

Pretty, incredibly clean & shiny, very very friendly and helpful owners, free parking, location, buses on the doorstep. Full size kettle, plenty tea,coffee, squash etc, big bottles of water provided, having an iron & ironing board should it be needed, games & books available, toiletries provided. Sure I have missed some other nice things too.

Nothing really! Everything was lovely Perhaps being able to see the menu for the tv programmes more easily would be nice - and a plug near the tv so we could use our Firestick?

Symmoane and Adam are really pleasant and helpful. The building is full of character as it is in the original condition from the 1800s with ornate staircase, and fixtures but with all mod cons of the modern era. The room was cozy and clean with everything we needed. It is located a stones throw from Bowness and the lake, but far enough as to be totally quite and peaceful. There is a convenient private car park to the rear, which is a must for any stay. We plan to stay there again later this year and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks so much.

Lovely hosts who made you feel welcome. We stayed in the small double room; the room size was perfectly ok but the bathroom was tiny. However, it had a really nice shower, good toiletries and sufficient towels. Everything was clean, the room was warm and the wardrobe had plenty of hangers. Lots of sockets right by the bed. The continental breakfast offered lots of choice and oat & soy milk were provided. Good car park behind the house.

Great location. Nice little attention to detail made this stand out more than the usual B&B, including small squash bottle in room. Homely shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Bubble bath all full sized bottles and scents, rather than usual miniatures that you never have enough in. Very quiet room at back of hotel overlooking car park, away from road noise gave us a great nights sleep. Decent choice for continental breakfast, plenty of choice for hot drinks.

If anything would be to upgrade bathroom as although immaculately clean and functional, it is old fashioned and maybe needs simplistically improving and modernising. Maybe add cheeses and ham and eggs to continental breakfast to widen choice.

It’s in a great location, about 15/20 min walk from Windermere station and only 5 min walk from lake Windermere in Bowness, bus stop right outside linking you to lots of other parts of the Lake District and lots of bars, restaurants and shops right on the doorstep. Adam and Simmoane who run the guesthouse are really lovely and happy to help with anything you need. It’s really quiet at night, we slept really well. The breakfasts are continental and are very nice with a wide range on offer.
