The location was perfect, only a few minutes walk to the lakeside, The bedrooms were lovely and clean and the morning breakfast was excellent.

My only criticism was that the dining area could have been turned into a lounge during the day to meet the other guests but apart from that the place was emaculate and clean and the bed was so comfy. Had a lovely stay at the Bay House. Hosts were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We were on the top floor, had a great view of the lake and 2 minutes walk from Bowness. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to fill us up for the day! The Bay House was good value for money and we will stay there again without hesitation 🙂

No parking at the Bay House, but stayed in long stay car park just 5 minutes walk away.

The breakfast was excellent, with fresh local ingredients cooked to your requirements. Good attention to specific needs. Very friendly service from Jill & Phil. Location was excellent with views over Lake Windermere from the room and the dining room. Good nights sleep every night in a comfy bed, with no noise from outside, even though we were in a vibrant area. We celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary and my wife's birthday, for which she received a nice gift. This was very thoughtful, and made our stay even more special.

The TV reception was poor, but it did not affect our holiday experience.

Absolutely stunning location, property was extremely clean and Jill was very friendly and welcoming to us! Room was very comfortable with en suite which included a shower. Facilities was available in the room for making hot drinks as well as towels being provided for us. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on and the bedding was very cosy. There was also a TV in our room for us to use and the property had WIFI for customer use as-well which was very nice and our mobile internet reception was none existent when out and about the local area. We chose to have the full breakfast on both of our mornings during our stay and my was we very pleased with it! The food was excellent quality and the was extremely tasty! You can chose to have toast also with your breakfast and a choice of tea or coffee is available with fresh orange out in the dining room to help yourselves to. Jill was extremely friendly, helpful and made sure to check in with us during our breakfast to make sure we was happy and if we would like anything else. I would definitely recommend this property for your stay and we will be back again at some point in the future.

Location was excellent - close to the car park and town centre but situated off the beaten track so that traffic and people noise was not an issue. View from the room was great. Room was cosy, bed was comfy. Facilities in the room were great. Breakfast was lovely - ordered the night before so you weren't waiting long for it once seated the following morning - lots of choice including a veggie option. Jill was really attentive whilst we stayed, making sure we had everything we needed - thank you

Excellent location, cleanliness Excellent, Owners friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about where to go and also best places for eating. Room was very comfortable ,and only had to ask if needed tea etc replenished.Also ever morning got a lovely homemade slice of cake. Excellent value for your money, would definitely go back.Breakfast delicious , thanks for a brilliant stay.

Jill was so friendly she messaged me a couple of days before our arrival so I had her contact number and telling me about the check in procedure she was extremely helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the location was brilliant. We can't wait to stay again.

Jill and Phil are great hosts. Excellent breakfast. The location, very close to the centre but away from the hustle and bustle so lovely and quiet. We had a lovely view from our room.

Location was brilliant right in the centre and near enough to lake windermere, we had the small double room which had everything we needed, overlooking the bay which was lovely, the breakfast was great we had a massive big Cumberland sausage served with your usual cooked breakfast, ( you pre order the night before) the owners were really nice they were very helpful and friendly, the little touches were nice like the little cakes you get with your tea & coffee in your room, we would definitely stay again.

The only thing missing was a long mirror, because we had the small double room on the top floor there wasnt enough room, there was a large rectangle mirror over the shelf for getting ready, the landing did have a long mirror though. The B&B dosent have a carpark but only a 5min walk there is a long stay car park where we parked.

This exceeded our expectations.From start to finish Maxine and Graham were excellent hosts.The whole place was immaculate and our room was small as described but perfectly planned with everything we needed.Bed was very comfy.Breakfast cooked to perfection with cake on a plate to take out for your morning elevens.Location quiet but close to all the pubs and restaurants.

There was NOTHING we did not like.
