The Hotel is so big we didn’t see it all. where we were was lovely. We booked an adapted room and I have to say it’s probably one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. The room was lovely bed was very comfortable.

The room was very warm. Which in winter must be lovely, however it was over 20•c outside. the window only opened 6inches. Thankfully there was 2 fans in the room, which helped. Our only true grumble was that the first night was a Wednesday. Tired & In need of rest, settled down to sleep and there was what sounded like a nightclub outside our bedroom window. Heavy base music that carried on until Midnight. It was so bad it felt like it was drilling into my brain! Even with the window closed, 2 fans on and my sensory ear buds in, I could still clearly hear it. I really feel that we should have at a minimum, been made aware of it happening. It spoilt that first evening.

De Vere Beaumont Windsor is a classy hotel with accommodation in a mix of styles set in pleasant, spacious grounds. There is plenty of free parking for guests, albeit some of it quite far from the White House where we stayed. The refreshments room where guests can make their own tea or coffee and help themselves to fruit at any time is a particularly welcome feature.

The hand-held shower head attachment fell off its height adjustment pole while my husband was having a shower. The shower curtain didn't reach all the way round the two sides it needed to screen off, and as it was a "wetroom" shower in the corner of the bathroom with no cubicle, water sprayed everywhere, soaking the shower mat and a lot more besides.

I had stayed before but had been in the main part of the old school - rooms were very comfortable and large. This time I was put right at the back of the hotel in the Blue Wing. Staff were good as usual and the Old School Yard is great in the sunshine. Grounds were lovely.

Room was small and dark - I could only just fit between the bed and the TV - very disappointed and I may not consider visiting again. Food and drinks are expensive - but we are in Windsor.

Schoolhouse / rooms - our room was modern, clean and very comfortable with a good range of tea/ coffee etc... Great breakfast range with plenty of space and quality food . Decent sized bar to relax. It's possible to walk into Windsor at a leisurely pace around 1 .1/2hrs joining the Long Walk about half way. Egham train station a couple of miles away to take you direct into Waterloo within an hour

We couldn't find anything negative but didn't spend much time at the hotel because it was the coronation weekend we were out and about so we didn't use the pool or restaurant but the food did look good. The only thing we thought was the hotel is so big it is hard to remember your way round but that's not a negative as such..

The location was just what we were looking for as we were wanting to have a look around Windsor Castle and the city because we have never been there before. We had also just come back from our holiday to Jamaica and landed at Gatwick Airport but our home is in York and didn't want to drive all the way home after such a long journey in one.

The room itself was a bit on the snug side and the only ventilation was a 3 inch gap in the open windows (restricted opening) and a small plug in air tower that wasn't very strong in the conditions (it was very warm on the night we stayed there)

Stunning estate, location with great connections and very easy local walks along the river. Read a lot of the reviews and our one night stay was great. The room was in the main building and the reception directed on a map how to get there, very straight forward. Very easy to order food in if you want just a quiet night in, staff more than happy to give cutlery and condiments. Room was a big tight but worth it for the building and stay, very warm and really comfortable. If you’re heading to Heathrow this is a much better stay than an airport hotel, just a simple 10-15 mins drive away.

the only down side albeit very minor was the corridor nose but the same in most hotels.

We were welcomed by Kingsley, who was lovely with my young daughter and made her feel welcome. I think experience here depends a bit on your room. We were upgraded to a lovely room which, unfortunatley had an issue with the shower not draining, so we had to be moved. The room was more basic, with a broken blind that meant it didn't cover the window, and a glass door in the bathroom with no blind on the window, so it let the light in, making the room unsuitable for families with children who need to sleep when it's light. We were moved to an amazing room which was perfect - no issues at all. None of this would put us off the hotel, but I'd opt for a slightly better room if money were no object. All staff were lovely. The building itself is fascinating, and the grounds are lovely. Quiet, with a little nature trail, play area, outdoor fusball and table tennis. We didn't use the pool but saw lots of families heading that way. Breakfast was decent, lots of options. Would definitely stay again.

This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Super efficient and friendly staff, exceptionally clean in all areas, beautiful location, amazing breakfast with so much choice of high quality foods (and great coffee!) in a relaxed setting. Our room was spacious, and decorated and dressed beautifully, and every communal area was the same, including the bathrooms, which were great too. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be visiting again.

If we were really nit-picking, we would have liked s bottle of water in the room, but I have no doubt reception would have sorted that if we had called them.

Room was clean but tiny . Breakfast and location good.

The room was a double room and the size of a shoe box! We had to put our case in the bathroom ! We were asked if we wanted to upgrade for an extra cost but decided not to as the room was quite expensive as it was. We told the reception at checkout but no apology given and just asked if we had the option to pay the extra cost! We moved onto another de vere for our next nights stay in reading with trepidation but for half the price the room was double the size!!

It was very comfortable and extremely well equipped as a venue. The staff was friendly and they had made the extra effort to get my room ready several hours earlier than usual to fit my arrival time. The wifi was free and fast! My room was lovely with lots of tea and coffee available. The towels were clean and fluffy; the bed was comfy. There was a good choice of food, the bar was open late into the night and the staff were lovely.

The water pressure in the shower was disappointing! Also, it is a huge site with a sprawling arrangement of rooms so it was really not that easy to navigate around. I enjoyed the adventure but had I been somewhat infirm I may have struggled.
