Lovely for a short stay. Me and my partner found the Executive Double Room very comfortable and had all the amenities you expect to find. The bed was lovely and comfortable to sleep in and the air con was a nice touch as I often run a little hot. I loved the large shower head, made the hangover I had in the morning more acceptable to deal with lol

I dont know if anyone stays in Worksop for longer than a couple of days, but if you were, just note that the stairs can get a little tiring if you're carrying heavy luggage. There a few flights of stairs and numerous firedoors. Not really a big issue if youre healthy and able, but worth considering for those with chronic health issues that struggle carrying things.

I have stayed here twice now, it’s a lovely hotel in the perfect location. Staff are always brilliant, friendly and incredibly helpful. The temperature controls in the rooms are fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is always very clean and the breakfast was fantastic.

There is a lot of variation in rooms both stays I’ve opted for the ‘executive double room’ first stay I had a large room with additional furniture however this stay my room was much smaller and more basic. Still love the hotel but this was slightly disappointing

The bar and restaurant area was lovely, the room was clean, large as was the bathroom. Tv was a good size and like the fact there was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, kettle with various teas and coffees. The meal (dinner) was very good, and the breakfast price was very good. All you can eat continental for £5.99, and then individual priced menu items too. Staff were very friendly and good service.

Didn't take away from the good experience of the stay, but the room (117)...was very bland, no pictures on the wall and a creaky old wardrobe..that said we weren't there to spend the entire time in our room. Wasn't keen on being on the ground floor, with a window overlooking the street- in as much just wasn't sure how secure it was. So we took our car keys and money with us when we went out. As it was New Yr, sadly they shut the kitchen and bar early, meaning we had to go into town for a bar...which was not successful.

Great proximity to the Town Hall where my event was held. Very clean. My single room was quite spacious. Whilst not one of the refurbished rooms, it was fine. Fan in room - very welcome as very hot weather. Lots of milk dachets and good variety of hot drink sachets. Dined in on 2nd night - very good veggie roast.

Please ask hotel to just charge one price for breakfast and tell people to have what they like. It was very cold fusing on the first morning. Otherwise, no other dislikes.

I booked a family room for me and my 5yr old and 6yr old. The single bed was in a separate room to the double which my daughter loved. The beds were really comfy. The rooms were very warm, I could turn the radiators down though. There was also a lounge with 2 sofas and tv which I wasn't expecting but was amazing with 2 kids. 1 night I took pizza to the room so having the lounge was great. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the bar was good too.

The only downside was the walk to the room it was the last one right at the end and through quite a few doors. Shame I couldn't access it from the car park through the emergency exit. This is only a minor downside though and kids found it fun to go through all the doors!

room very clean with comfortable modern bedlinen, water pressure good in the bathroom, fridge in room so I could keep fresh fruit cool. Parking right by the entrance.

The smoking area was right under the windows so there was noise of people chatting & smell of smoke no lift so had to carry my guitar and suitcases up flight of steep narrow curved stairs.

Absolutely amazing sized rooms, clean and very comfy. All the staff were lovely and very helpful, I struggled to find the hotel, but the lady stayed on the phone with me, giving me directions till I got there 🙈. Thank you so much. Would definitely stay there again.

The only one thing was, the TV remote did not work at all, so there was no TV possible for the kids.

The barman went the extra mile to produce some lovely cocktails for our wedding day meal. Thought the menu was a little limited for the star rating of the hotel . However the food was nicely presented and enjoyable.

Seemed a little under-staffed for the size of the hotel. Not always anyone at reception. The door into our rear annexe wasn't working with the card and apparently was an on going problem the hotel knew about. We had to be let in by the night-porter. A lot of work being undertaken at the rear of the Hotel which may be an issue for guests wanting a rest in the day or from a parking perspective. Otherwise a comfortable and clean room and enjoyed our stay.

Great central location, nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfast for just £7.00 and a good early start (6.30) for the breakfast.

A small niggle is that there are no electric car chargepoints at the hotel or in the Lead Hill car park opposite. I had to leave my car in the Newgate Street car park (5 min walk away) to charge overnight. That is very deserted at night and I was a bit anxious leaving the car there but it was all fine in the morning.

Comfortable bed.

It wasn't as clean as expected, note that I don't mean it was dirty, but still the pictures looked nicer than reality. We got to the hotel just for the night (arrived at midnight and left in the morning), The parking is on the back of the hotel and it was really hard to find, while there was no-one to talk to at theses hours.
