Location was great. Close to highway but far enough that it was quiet. Room service was good. Room was clean and comfortable.

Towels were small and only a minimum. Individual soaps ere not replaced daily and made for skimpy showers. Unit was obviously an older facility but clean and comfortable. The sink was badly cracked and needs replacement. Light bulb over bed was burned out and not replaced during 4 day stay.

I booked this based on reviews on travel sites that said although nothing fancy, it was clean, safe, and staff were friendly, helpful. There was not a speck of dirt in the unit, not even in corners of bathroom! About an hour after checking out, my daughter realized she left her good pillow on her bed. My other daughter and family were about 2 hours behind us, so I called front desk. They retrieved the pillow from the room, got already washed pillowcase from laundry, and had all waiting for pickup! 👏👏👏

Nothing to improve!

Very neat and tidy older style motel / motor lodge. Our room was perfect, clean (as in, spotless), and met our expectations. Our stop was just for a quick overnight stay off of I-65, and we would definitely stay here again if passing through or if we were in the area!

Wish there was a breakfast, but we understood that there was no breakfast when we booked (just wanted to point out that we were not upset, and we expected no breakfast from when we made the original reservation). There are plenty of restaurants in the area to score a quick breakfast and be on your way.

My granddaughter and her husband came to see us because we had driven all day and the front office complained about it, yet when we went to visit her in Verbena and came back the owners had company and were parked in our space. After complaining they're company moved out of our parking place and they had plenty of parking in the front ...after all we did pay for our parking space and they were told we needed parking in front of room due to handicap.

Easy check in. We know what we are getting with this place. We stay here at least once a year traveling to Florida. We love the Clanton Alabama Scottish inn! And rclose To all the good restaurants!

The location was great, right off the highway. Easy to find. Bed was comfortable and very clean room. Safe and an added plus for being able to park car in front of your room! We will stay here again.

Room was very clean. Maid service came by every day to make beds, clean and leave fresh towels. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I overnight here several times a year traveling to and from the gulf coast. This is an older property that is well-maintained, clean and safe.
