The views of the Mountains, and the grounds were amazing! We loved that the hotel had Shuttle Service to the local town! It was charming. I felt like I was nestled in the Swiss Alps. The linen and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. The bar/ lounge was so cozy. The seating in front of the large stone fireplace gazing out at the Tram, and the mountain was so welcoming. It was lovely seeing other guests playing board games and cards with their friends in such an inviting atmosphere.

I purchased the room as a Christmas present for my daughter, her husband, and their three children. They loved the hotel, but it was frustrating that they could not check in until 4:00pm, which is after dark this time of year, and they had to check out by 11:00am. It was a high price to pay for the family to sleep one night.

Cost was VERY high compared to what we have ever paid in the past as Alaska residents. It would have been nice if the family could have checked in a couple of hours earlier, and had been allowed to check out later than 11:00am.

Room was great, pricing was reasonable, clean for an older room, housekeepers were efficient and nice. Bell hop service exceeded expectations- thank you guys very much!!

Room service breakfast was beyond cost of living even for here in Alaska. ($90.+ for 3 people)? What gives? Was a bit surprised at the stains on carpet, but not unusual for the older rooms needing updating. Decided on dinner at Chair Five after seeing the cuisine menu at hotel restaurant.

Location of the hotel couldn't be better. View from 2nd floor lobby area is majestic! The hotel staff were exceptional handling a technical issue with the virtual aspect of computers that couldn't print room keys. They gave us an upgraded room so we had the same view from our room as the viewing area of the hotel. So beautiful we spent more time in the room than planned enjoying the view. We didn't have a chance to dine in hotel restaurants but did grab a bite at the cafe in the hotel and at the cafe at the top of the tram. Food was limited. Cafe in hotel was fine. Very friendly staff at the hotel and in town. Loved our stay.

Tomato soup at top of tram needs to be replaced. It was watered down and tasteless.

Nice people, great location, pretty good food, the room (except for the bed) was nice, and roomy. The shower worked smoothly and was easy to adjust. The bathroom area was nice with enough counter space to hold our “stuff”.

I hated the bed. It had little support remaining as if it was very used and old. It was so very soft, I could sleep only in one position at the very edge of the mattress. It gave me an aching back every day. Hated the bed. Room 656 needs a new mattress! Our room was a long, long distance from the elevators. We are in our seventies and found the hallway walk to our room annoyingly, unpleasantly long. Perhaps you could first determine the age and desires of your guests, and give the distant rooms to the younger guests.

Very sufficient room layout. Loved our mountain view. Enjoyed pre-season calm. Keurig was great. The massages were the best! When we had to shorten our trip to get a chiropractic visit for a sudden issue the manager very kindly approved the late cancellation of our last night. That understanding & flexibility will not be forgotten. Thank you!

Odd that closet slider stops; probably to avoid spills at coffee/ refrigerator table? Ordered a pot of coffee. All were friendly & service was quick, but coffee was weak. Next time we’ll ask for more pods. TV remote seemed like battery was low. We were honestly surprised that movies were $20.00. (We’re old) :) Pool spa was murky.

Gorgeous setting and we loved the hydro spa.

Many staff members were not helpful at all and in fact the bartender was quite rude to almost everyone at the bar the night we were there. We are used to getting great service as we are always very nice and positive. The exception was that the bellmen were very helpful.

Perfect location for skiing. The room was very comfortable with all basic amenities, Staff were very friendly, especially the assistant bell captain. There are a couple of options for dinner to suit all budgets.

No transportation to the resort during winter. The only way to get there is taxi or uber or self drive.

Great location and the facilities also very good.

The rooms didn't have air conditioning. It got pretty hot in the summer at night. Opening the windows helped with ventilation significantly . Something to be mindful about since I didn't notice this before booking.

Location was perfect- close to the airport and all the convenience of ski in/ski out. We lucked out with the weather which was nearly perfect for 6 days. Had to be patient until mid-afternoon for the snow to soften up.

The music in the fireplace/lounge area was pretty loud for early morning coffee. While the room was on the smaller side it was still comfortable.
