Nice setting on a mountainside with views of golf greens & Red Mountain. Lovely patio off the bedroom. Lots of windows with beautiful views. Huge, clean, comfy suite with separate living room with TV. Another sitting area with TV in the bedroom, featuring a lovely gas fireplace (with built-in timer... great idea.) Bed was amazingly comfy & beautifully made with crisp white bedding. Bathroom offered a nice shower and jetted tub, plus 2 sinks. Easy drive to grocery store, restaurants, and local attractions. Keurig coffee maker, microwave, & mini-fridge with small ice compartment. It was like staying in a spacious 1-bedroom apartment.

Pietro's - the only on-site dining option - was closed. Be sure to check if this is important to you. We drove a short distance to a neighboring golf club where the grill closed at 4:00 and got a meal to go. Thank goodness for the microwave. Breakfast on site was not an option either, and housekeeping was not generous with the k-cups. There was just 1 that wasn't decaf (If your morning coffee is important, bring your own k-cups). In such a beautiful luxury suite, we usually find real coffee creamer & real coffee cups. Instead, there were paper cups and 2 of those motel-style dry whitener & sweetener packs. With dozens of resorts competing for business, little details make a big difference.

The property itself is beautiful, it’s a little far out, but we loved it. The views are spectacular. The staff was OK. The main complaint is about the bed. The bedding was super thin, and the mattress was exceptionally hard and uncomfortable. For being such a nice place you think they could at least have better bedding and real glasses in the room. The coffee cups weren’t even a full 8 ounces nor were the water cups and there’s no water in the room not even one you can buy. You really need water in Arizona.

Love this property. Stay there every year for a quick get away. If you’re a bath girl, this is your place! The tubs are amazing and in the luxury King suites, the bathtubs are positioned with an amazing view and window that opens for fresh air. Excellent location close to grocery store.

Only disappointment is that there are no ice machines. You get ice from the front lobby so unless your room is located near there, you have a walk. Easily fixed by brining a small cooler along. There are ice buckets in room but don’t keep ice frozen long.

Quiet, the restaurant was great, and night staff person Steve was a great host

I had brought up that we were having an anniversary that day a a couple occasions but the check in person simply ignored it, also asked about the restaurant and he was rude about it saying they are not affiliated with the resort to any level to give advice. Luckily we tried it out anyway and had a great experience. Would have been nice for him to simply say happy anniversary to my fiancee when she walked up

Great restaurant on property. Liked the location over the golf course. Liked the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and out little balcony.

We stayed rot 3 nights and got only a free k-cups for the coffee maker and coffee packets with stirrers and plastics cups, and no ice maker except in the main lobby. So every day we had to ask for ice and a few more coffee things. The gut at the front desk did not have a very customer service personality at all.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our Suite was. A nice southwest theme throughout, comfortable bed, balcony overlooking the golf course and hills. Very quiet too. We were only there to spend the night as we were meeting friends nearby the next day to go on an off road trip, so we didn't use the pool/spa, golf course or restaurant. We would stay there again.

It was very nice. Liked the balcony overlooking golf course and the gas fireplace in bedroom was a pleasant touch.

It wasn’t “brand new” but was not dated. It was well maintained. There was no room service, but that may be “on request” We felt it was a great value for the rate! Disappointed there is no early morning coffee available in the lobby as we have had with other hotels.

It was clean, beds were comfy and just a beautiful atmosphere. Staff was friendly.

I loved my stay but I did not like that the restaurants were not open during my stay. They are closed sun, mon ,tues so it was a bummer since we were on vacation. No house keeping as well. But over all a beautiful place.

It's a very nice location , away from city lights and noise at night. The bed was super comfortable. There were many restaurants nearby by car.

It's not the fault of the place, but there was a lot of construction noise. The air conditioner was super loud. You had to have a car to get to many of the restaurants. There is a restaurant near by you can walk to.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness of my suite and I appreciated the fact that no one came to clean my room unless I requested it. It was very quiet and I couldn't hear anyone around me. The mountain views and sounds of the wild birds were truly inspiring for my intended retreat.

It was a little difficult when the trash cans would fill up easily in the room. Perhaps having a large common area to drop off trash would have been convenient.
