I went for my birthday with a group of 6! We got 2 double rooms, and they had comfy beds and were beautifully decorated. Honestly, every corner of the hotel is stunning (they even have a custom scent in the lobby!). We loved that you had everything you needed at the resort - there's an amazing pool, spa, relaxing lounge areas, great food and drinks, and even a complimentary shuttle. We rented a cabana and had a pool day, got a group massage, and were able to take the shuttle to nearby restaurants and bars. Everything was worth the price, and we all would 10/10 would go again.

My girlfriends and I were absolutely blown away by not only the aesthetics (which is one of the main reasons we booked the place) but the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the absolutely majestic state of the grounds. We had every intention of exploring Scottsdale and going shopping and wasting time at other restaurants but we could not bring ourselves to want to leave the resort!! The espresso martinis, the carne asada tacos, the absolute beauty of the decor (and staff) it was all worthy of a 5 star stay in Tulum. Also HUGE shout out to great our pool attendants, specially Tanner, who was working his butt off in 95 degree weather with a smile and quick wit. Thank you!

This place is great. The facilities and rooms are amazing. The pools are beautiful and every room had a nice patio or balcony. The resort is very comfortable. There are chairs and lounge areas all over the place to take a break and just hang out if you don’t want to sit in your room. The restaurant and bar inside the main lobby area have a great vibe.

We always had a long wait for food at the restaurant. Both times we ate there it took almost an hour to get our food after we were seated and ordered. If you’re starving it may be worth just going to a nearby restaurant for a shorter wait. However, if you have the time, the food is delicious and it is worth the wait!

Lovely resort, and super comfortable beds. Great dining, pool, and fun entertainment. Nice for solo, family and friend or business travel. It is so pretty, and you can walk to the best dining and shopping in the city, or they offer a free shuttle. Nice walking or biking path close by along the canal if you like to exercise. Highly recommend, I’ve been coming here for years.

The room was rather dimly lit. The pool area fills up so get there early! Not a huge fan of the kid friendly pool as it has sand and some debris from surrounding trees but that’s getting picky.

Wonderful location to everything in Scottsdale. The grounds of the hotel are also beautiful. The lobby and restaurant are gorgeous. Canal club food was delicious. The staff were all very polite and helpful.

The pools were full of debris the entire trip. One of the pools was closed for the day during the trip as well. This was rather disappointing as the larger pool was one of the reasons this resort was booked. Also I didn’t love that anyone could walk in through the lobby at anytime and have access to the entire hotel grounds other than the hotel rooms. Lastly, we had an early morning flight, and there was no one up at the front desk, which given the fact that the doors were all open, but no one was around was a little frustrating and disconcerting.

We spent a lot of time at the pool, where there was a poolside bar and where we were able to order food poolside as well. We also made plenty of use of the free shuttle that was offered (it runs on gratuities)

The restaurant was nice, however, there were a few times where we waited a long time to be seated and then to have our orders taken even when it wasn't busy. Additionally, on the last day, we came down from our rooms for brunch and were turned away because they were "fully booked" with reservations from people outside of the hotel. We understand that the restaurant is open to the public, but hotel guests should always have priority - even if it means a reserved section. We ended up sitting at the open seating on the patio, but this wasnt offered to us, we asked about it ourselves to try and accommodate ourselves having a meal before we left for the airport.

We liked that it was close enough to old Town Scottsdale and walking distance to everything. It was really nice facility and the staff were nice. Bar area was kind of small but over all nice weekend for us.

The only thing we could think of was there should be no mini bar in the fridge so we could of used it to keep some of our beverages cold like water or soda, the pillows were really flat.

Pools were great, good size and bar service at adult pool. Really lovely landscaping with several oasis to relax on a hammock or the waterfall pond. The lobby is expansive with well designed couch/seating areas and tables for working. Servers available for bar/menu service. The lobby becomes an upscale scene in the evenings. The Rooms are a good size and the Adirondack chairs on the large decks are perfect after a day of shopping! Service is top notch on both stays here, as soon as you drive up an attendant greats you, and assists with luggage at check in. .

Set up at pool. Chaise lounges WAY too close together, and made it more of a party atmosphere in the late afternoons, then relaxing. However we did our pool time early on both stays here due to the HEAT! But I could see folks renting cabanas could be upset paying to sit on top of someone w/ no privacy. The gym is way too small and needs a facelift.

Staff was excellent. Helpful, professional, friendly. The food at the restaurant was stellar, both dinner and breakfast. The room was very quiet and the beds were super comfy. Spa services were great. Loved the Havana-inspired theme throughout the property.

The bathroom towels could use an upgrade. Water pressure in the shower was quite low. The exterior rooms have views of the parking lot, so opt for an interior room if possible. Unfortunately the restaurant was having some work done so it was a limited menu, but the food we had was excellent.
