The check-in was quick; we could park in a parking garage next door and were given a parking pass for the night. Breakfast was healthy and delicious with a variety of options. The fitness center was small but adequate for a quick jog, stretch, and lift.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but when we walked to downtown Tempe and back to check out the nightlife, there was a staggering amount of homeless or vagrants in the area. On the way home it was a little sketchy and one of the homeless men was bent over next to the sidewalk with his pants down. It was a little sad to see this with the contrast of self-driving cars and college kids everywhere, but many people didn't seem to mind.

All staff were professional and courteous.

The hotel is right in the flight path of the airport and it was nearly impossible to sleep. The airplane noise all day and night was atrocious and I was there ten days. Loved the facility but hated dealing with low, low airplane noise. It was close to everything I wanted to do.

1. Location! Stayed here for Boots in the Park country music festival at Tempe Beach Park. It was a block away. Easily walked to & from the 2 day festival. Mill Ave is also 1 block away. Walked to nearby eateries & shopping stores. 2. Staff! Very pleasant, courteous, & professional staff at all times. 3. Rooftop pool! Need I say less? Privacy for tanning poolside. Great view of the mountain hike & of the river.

The bar tender Connie skipped us and helped another patron that showed up after us and she also had us wait longer so she can get some food for others from the kitchen. Until i asked her for her name she asked why and I mentioned what she did she walked away with an attitude, telling other patrons what I mentioned to her they laughed it off. I then told my husband we should go I didn't want to deal with that kind of treatment.

I liked the location, the room was very clean and the pool was awesome. Staff were very friendly, I love staying in this area, close to the lake, next time we will try to climb the hill behind the motel. Great view from the pool. :)

I did not like climbing the stairs to get to my car in the garage and having to pay for the fee. Also it would be nice to include the breakfast with the cost of the stay.

Very clean, staff was amazing! Great location in a walkable area with quick access to the trail around the river.

Our beds were so creaky, we would wake each other up rolling over. Our AC didn’t work when we got there but the maintenance tech came quickly and fixed it.

Friendliest staff I've ever met. Great location but slightly weird with construction right now. Clean and attractive room. Super comfortable and quiet. Bar, coffee (at 5. am) and breakfast rocks. I'm coming back....and the pool is incredible---not crowded and you are on a roof top with a view. A hidden gem.....

Nice view and the room was very clean.

I wanted to request another little bottle of lotion and couldn’t figure out how to ask the front desk for another. Didn’t show on the phone who to call and the tv didn’t give any instruction either. Bartender was super nice and welcoming but the front desk girl was hardly welcoming.

Asked for room to be cleaned… didn’t happen. Floors were some sort of synthetic wood rather than carpet which is probably a good idea- but the floor wasn’t clean. Kept my shoes or socks on at all times.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff throughout. We stayed in two other hotels during our trip to Arizona and the staff here really stood out! Room (corner king street view) was a good size and nice there was a door to separate bedroom from sofa area and two tvs as we were 3 total. Breakfast was really good. Lots of tasty buffet items (quiche, cold cuts, high quality cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. plus a small menu of cooked to order items. Nespresso coffee maker and drip coffee.

Bathroom needs a lot more lighting. Shower is very small and narrow and there is a very low rim between the shower and floor so loads of water leaks out onto the floor. Just had to request extra towels as each shower required extra to sop up the liquid. Room really did not have much storage in the bedroom area, just tiny side tables with no drawers. Had to hang cloths in the sitting room area and pulled the coffee table in by bed to put out suitcases on.
