This historic Route 66 road side motel has been updated beautifully. It is so clean and well maintained! We were there mid-week so our hosts graciously upgraded us to their "Queen Suite" which was so cute, a small living area with fireplace and large TV, high-top table for in room dining, mini fridge, and Keurig. The bedroom was equally cute with a comfy Queen Size bed and flat screen TV. Spacious bathroom. The suite could easily sleep four because the sofa pulls out, although it would be a cozy fit but the time you add luggage for four. Perfect for a young family. The location of the hotel is walking distance to the train station, and anything else in town. The historic town of Williams is charming and you can easily walk to any diner or shop. Breakfast is free but is a traditional continental breakfast; pastries, and a make your own waffle station. We prefer protein in the morning so we went to the dines in town for our breakfasts.

I can't think of anything. I do not blame the hotel for this but add it as a tip for future guests, but we had put some of our road trip snacks and dinner leftovers in the mini fridge, and didn't realize it was set at "0" so all our food spoiled. :( My fault for not checking, but check the fridge and adjust the settings if you are going to use it.

The Lodge on Route 66 is a nice, comfortable and cute hotel just one hour away from the Grand Canyon National Park. The rooms are very well decorated and beds are super comfy, with all the amenities you may need. Nice to have breakfast included in the room price with a great selection of continental and hot food. It’s perfect located at the heart of Williams, close to restaurants and shops. Definitely recommended.

It’d have been great to have had a small fridge in the room to keep our personal food refrigerated. But the staff was very kind to

We were upgraded to a king suite as the double wasn’t ready. We paid more but it was beautiful seperate bedroom from living area. had two sinks in bathroom with seperate toilet and bathtub room. It was very clean. The pilllows and bed were very comfortable and the linens excellent quality. The breakfast was simple but enough to get us on the road - toast, fruit, juice and cereal waffles if you prefer. I loved the music they play in the breakfast and gift store area - Frank Sinatra oldies nice touch Lastly it is right in Williams so you can walk out to dinner and shop. I loved this! but it is also quiet at night.

I have nothing bad to say.

This was my favourite accommodation on our 2 week US trip. The staff were so friendly, and this was also the only stop on our trip with a proper breakfast provision, which was lovely. The room was really nice, very comfortable and conveniently separated for a family of 4 with 2 older teens. The bathroom was large enough. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Williams is a lovely town with loads of Route 66 memorabilia. Highly recommended for a trip to the Grand Canyon which is just an hour away. Recommend Bearzonia too!

everything was perfect!

The Lodge is a quaint motel located on the Mother Road-Route 66! It is located within walking distance to various shops and local restaurants. Jaime helped us with our the check in process. She is very patient, efficient and helpful. The room was very neat, clean and attractively decorated. The price of the lodging includes breakfast. It is served from 7 am to 10 am. The breakfast includes waffles, muffins, scrambled eggs, hot cereal, cold cereal, fruit, hot beverages, etc. We are already making plans to return for another visit.

We were greeted at the reception by a lovely friendly lady and directed to our room. We parked directly outside and all rooms are ground floor. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, in fact I had the best nights sleep on our trip thus far. The shower was powerful and certainly woke me There was seating outside our room and in a central area within the car park but no one else sat out in the evening which was a shame

There was no mini fridge which was a little surprising Breakfast was ok, not really geared up for healthy eaters.

This place has so much character, I almost wanted to cry from the warm feeling it gave me after 5 nights at different chain hotels. So easy to walk to restaurants and shops in a Route 66 town that is nostalgic while feeling very real and genuine. Also, wonderful price allowed us to get 2 separate rooms for first time on trip (grandparents had separate room from mom and kid).

1 room could have had an easier-to-reach-outlet on the left side of the bed (for tandem cpap users), but we were able to reach behind bed. Even on a snowy day, motel-style open access was really convenient and stayed dry.

Talk about a gem! This motel is not only comfortable, clean and convenient but also adorable. We loved the little themes each room had (ours was fishing) and there is also a courtyard with fireplaces for gathering. We were only there for one night, but the room was spotless. The bed was soft and the extra blanket was much appreciated. The staff was attentive and polite. There was a nice continental breakfast available in the morning too! Waffle makers, cereal, coffee, grab and go granola bars or bananas for your travels. Cute gift shop too. We enjoyed our stay here, even if it was very short.

I have no complaints. The staff was even apologetic for a broken ice maker, in February, in 30F degree weather.

Wonderful experience at lodge on route 66! I stayed with my wife and mother in law as we traveled historic route 66! Great place, remarkably clean, friendly staff and very comfortable beds and location which made my wife extremely happy! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in williams az especially if you are looking to visit bearizona!

Nothing to dislike about the property or staff. We were extremely happy over all and can not wait to plan our next trip to williams! We will be booking here again in the future!

The beds were very comfortable. It was very cold during our stay, and we were supplied with very thick extra bedding. The breakfast room was pleasant and the little Route 66 shop was quaint and interesting. The parking spaces were large and right outside our rooms. We could walk to many of the bars and restaurants.

The internet coverage was very weak and we couldn't use it in our rooms. A nicer coffee machine with more condiments would have also been appreciated. The person at reception was extremely busy and there were long waits to ask her anything.
