We got free upgrade on the room. Although o ly there for one nigbt it was a nice add-on. Front desk guy was ar first a bit strange but turned out to be super nice and friendly. We loved the 2 dogs as well that were there.

Breakfast was very strict. Couldn't make your own waffles and hours of operation were very early and done early. Selection was good thought and the lady there would even cook you an omelet and would make your waffle. I prefer making my own so I didnt take any there. Otherwise nice people and great area. I would book there again.

Would really like to commend the staff for this establishment. My party arrived early, but check-in was still extremely gracious making sure we could quickly get into our room and that it fit what we were looking for. My sister uses a wheelchair, and the staff examined the room with me to make sure we'd be able to maneuver comfortably. The room was comfortable and very clean, breakfast was quite good, varied and substantial, and the staff was there to facilitate the hot portions of the meal. Having a microwave and hot water available in the room also was fantastic for making simple meals outside the breakfast hours.

Being so close to a main roadway meant there was some light noise, but not enough to keep us from getting a good night's sleep. Thanks again to really superior and friendly staff.

Our stay is just what we wanted. Clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was good as the host make me fresh excellent scrambled eggs. No fake egg mixture.

The only reason why this didn’t get 5 stars across the board is the noisy fan on the a/c unit. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, breakfast and staff really good and nice.

On/off fan on A/c kept me awake all night. Didn’t matter the temp and room too warm not to run the A/c.

We did have a hiccup. Our tub and shower would not work. But the owner inserted himself and immediately went to work to fix it. It wound up taking longer than expected so they moved us to a different room. We heard him working for at least another hour or two to try to fix it. In business, stuff happens, but the measure of a company is what they do when faced with a challenge. They were great and I highly recommend them. 

The breakfast offers dairy free options like oat milk and almond milk. The gentleman making the breakfasts is very friendly. The rooms seem to be updated and have hard floor and not carpet which is a big plus. The beds are comfortable. The shower has good water pressure and the water is hot.

They allow dogs but apparently just noting you are traveling with dogs on Booking is not enough and they want you to call to let them know you have dogs with you. There isn't a lot of space to walk dogs on the property. We had to go out to the street which is busy.

Very quiet and clean. Large shower and immediate hot water. Complete breakfast (except b-fast meats). It wasn’t hot in Barstow at the beginning of May so we slept with the window open rather than the AC (AC was quiet enough but fresh air was better). Traffic noise was minimal and didn’t disturb us. They even had coin operated laundry (we didn’t use).

Screen on the window would be good. Also, the bathroom light/fan was on a motion sensor so it wasn’t possible to go to the bathroom at night without turning them on and creating light/noise disturbance. It was possible to turn off again but would be so much better if it didn’t have the sensor.

This was the first stop in a cross-country move, just me and my dog and a trailer with all of my worldly possessions. The hotel itself is nothing fancy. It’s comfortable and clean and located close to the highway. But what makes this hotel special is the owners. So sweet. When I arrived in the middle of the night, they waited up for me and got me checked in quickly. When I couldn’t back up my trailer safely bc the parking lot was full, they helped. When my dog had a medical issue, they contacted a vet tech nearby who came to help. I was very stressed and they truly went above and beyond. Also they make you breakfast in the morning!

Barstow is not a place I’d go for vacation…but if I ever had to go back there, I’d stay here in a heartbeat.

Where to start? The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. On check-in they helped us out with a larger room that was perfect for us (parents and two adult children). The facility is modest but clean and well appointed. Every room has a refrigerator and microwave, which you can’t always expect at this price point. Best free hotel breakfast I’ve ever had at a small hotel — fresh waffles, eggs made to order, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit... and that’s maybe half of what was offered. I can recommend the kitchenette rooms for families traveling with kids where a parent may need to work while the kids sleep — it provides a room with a door and a small table and chairs. The kitchenette has a full-sized refrigerator and electric range. I have lived in apartments with smaller kitchens. I will definitely be staying again whenever travel takes us to or through Barstow.

I don’t have much to say. This isn’t a high-end resort hotel, but it’s also very reasonably priced and stands out in a small town that has a lot of hotels/motels catering to travelers.
