I liked the friendliness of the staff and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Also, the location is ideal being near the beach and all of the attractions which are part of coastal north county San Diego.

Our bed was just a bit hard, lacking a bit of cushion.

Grounds are a bit dirty. Could use a paint job. Continental breakfast is ok, but a protein option would be nice.

The coffee was great, the breakfast was pretty basic, just toast, cereals, some small danishes or micro muffins, jam, butter, milk , tea coffee and orange juice. As fruit there were only some sad tiny apples. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, very good water pressure, excellent Wi-Fi. 30 in fridge without freezer. Microwave and coffee machine. Great location few minutes walk to the steps that lead to the beach. They are steep! Few minutes from restaurants or Pannikin cafe.

They could improve the breakfast by adding some yogurt, decent fruit, maybe some cheese and ham. The room needs more space for hanging clothes, a chair for the table. The shower has been poorly designed, as the handicapped handle inside the shower has been placed right behind the glass door obstructing it so much, that the door opens only halfway.

This motel is in an excellent location. On the beach side of the pacific coast highway. We could easily walk to cafes, shops and the beaches. The staff were very friendly. A small breakfast was available each morning which was a bonus. It was also nice to have a room with a table and chairs to eat around. The swimming pool was a nice extra too. The kids enjoyed using it at the end of the day.

There was no freezer in our fridge which is disappointing as we like to be able to keep our ice packs cold for our cool box. It was also not easy to dry wet swim suits and towels from the beach as the room had no where to hang things from. As a morning tea drinker it was annoying that there was nowhere to access boiling water. The only hot drink available at breakfast was coffee. Storage space was limited. I wouldn't stay here for more than a few nights as it doesn't offer the facilities to make it comfortable for longer than that.

It was comfortable and a short walk to Stone Steps. Bed was very comfortable and a convenient table for writing & sketching.

They should have a greater selection for breakfast. Assorted fruits, not just apples. Assorted bread, not just white bread. Bagels would be nice. They should provide yogurt. Only had orange juice. Before the pandemic they had a much larger breakfast. The room didn't have enough lighting, no ceiling light, just a couple scattered small lights, kinda weird.

Best staff ever! So helpful, flexible, considerate and devoted to giving the best service they can. The location was unmatched! Walking distance to all the best cafes, restaurants, shops and beaches. Good shower, comfy bed, good a/c (cools well and not noisy). Best value for money in the entire area.

The room was very clean when we checked in, but we stayed in it for a whole week and the cleaning staff could have done a better job refreshing it during our stay. Mainly, the floor wasn’t very well cleaned. Having said that, we did not complain about it to anyone, and I’m quite sure if we did say something they would have corrected the issue.

The water pressure in the shower, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were too!! Great location close to everything! The rooms were very clean! The mini refrigerator got everything super cold almost to the point of freezing which was good for the beach!

The beds were too small, my husband and I are average size and we didn’t have much room to turn around! The bath towels were too small and rough!

Very clean room offered everything necessary for a comfortable trip! The location is within walking distance of the beach and shopping and far enough away from freeway noise. Premises have recently been renovated, which was really nice. A great value…I’ll definitely be back!

Provide a tv remote with a timer so tv will shut off after an hour or 2. If that’s the worst I can say, then you’re doing great!

Great location and comfortable. We loved the extra sink and counter in the room.

The hallway to our room obviously has not been updated in a while with old carpet. Also the ice machine was very dirty looking and stored near the parking lot with trash stored next to it which is not very hygienic. I wish there was some type of protein offered in the breakfast.

We loved the location, walking distance to the beach. Staff were extremely friendly, the pool was nice, and the room was comfortable and clean. There was a slight mix up with our room but the staff were great at communicating and fixed it for us.

We were expecting a few more options for breakfast, but there was only the same mini pastries and apples available. Was hoping for at least some cereal or toast.
