Included breakfast was a little lacking. No tea in rooms and at breakfast. Had to keep requesting items at breakfast, eg. cutlery

The staff was outstanding, courteous and accommodating at all time. Our stay was wonderful...

I would suggest a different option for the ice machine. I felt like a pest to keep asking for ice. It is summer and beach time, everyone was asking for ice.... Also, I would really recommend a different clean solution for your hotel rooms floors. I made mention that my floor was very slippery, even bare foot, it had a film of sort on it and after slippinga few times, I slightly sprained my ankle.(i told the front desk and they said it might still be wet). That was not the case.... My husband slipped as well. Im attaching a photo of my ankle this morning. It made my Sunday a little tough to walk back and forth to the beach on it.... SOMETHING TO HIGHLY CONSIDER...

A lovely boutique hotel a block from gorgeous Hermosa beach, in an area that feels like a small upscale neighborhood and with many good restaurant options within walking distance. The design of the hotel as a whole and the room is simply exquisite, and so comfortable and well-thought out. A very spacious room and balcony, comfortable bed, pretty bathroom and shower with Frette towels onsite parking (for a reasonable fee). Patrick (?) who welcomed us at the front desk was friendly, professional and sincerely helpful, and all the staff we met were cheerful and courteous.

Wowzers!! Right on the beach near all the bars and restaurants. The entire hotel, staff, and rooms were spectacular. Easy parking. The rooms on the top floors had skylights throughout, mood lighting you can adjust, and the private balcony with a seating area was amazing. The rooftop lounge is spectacular. The gym had the right essentials. Everything was clean and smelled wonderful. Whoever manages this place needs an award. Bravo! Did I mention you get a complimentary bottle of wine, free continental breakfast, and there's a wine bar?

A few minutes walk to the beach in Hermosa, and easy drive to Venice Beach/Santa Monica. Very comfortable, exceedingly clean, well-appointed room with large balcony. Area around hotel felt very safe at all hours. Continental breakfast offered a nice variety of foods. Easy parking underneath hotel.

Cost of parking was high and we had to leave our car keys at the desk (though desk was always staffed). Long drive to everything else in LA, e.g., an hour or more to the Getty museum, Hollywood, or Warner Bros. Studio, so wouldn't be ideal for visitors wanting to see the sights in LA.

Great location - a block from Hermosa Beach and about 25 min walk along The Strand to Manhattan Beach pier. Had a room on the street side and once in a while could hear road/pedestrian noise, but not too much. Room was good size. Could alway ask the front desk for water bottles and they would provide. Enjoyed our stay.

Continental breakfast could of been a little better, maybe plain yogurt and oatmeal option instead of flavored? Wish there were at least one luggage rack in the room for storage, since there is only the closest, no dresser.

The hotel isn’t too big and the location is amazing. They have a parking garage and a small, nice gym. Staff was polite. Room size is decent and the rooftop terrace is also nice.

It’s too expensive for what you get. Parking is 20$ per night, the “breakfast” consists of few in plastic wrapped items. 10$/day for renting a beach umbrella is also not worth it. Additionally, we requested a late check-out but on our last day they said it wasn’t possible. Side note: One night the fire alarm was going off at 2 am. Luckily it was a false alarm but of course we still got up and were awake for quite some time. No one ever apologized for the inconvenience.

Nice location. Close to the beach. Clean, spacious room. Close to groceries, restaurants, fast food. Nice walking distance to large, sandy beach of Hetmosa. Quite close to airport, circa 10 miles. Hotel quite and cosy, only two floors, nice parking space, friendly staff.

Bathroom ok yet with strangely installed shower doors forcing water to the floor aftet use and opening, not big deal but strange and a bit messy. Not all rooms equipped with fridge, some got minibar instead, and microwave oven.

We had a wonderful stay at H20 Hermosa. The staff were professional and kind, the bed and room were so cozy and comfortable and the whole hotel was incredibly clean. Perfect location right by the beach, a short walk to the main strip of Hermosa and a nice walk to Manhattan Beach. We didn’t want to leave!

Nothing we didn’t like! But I wouldn’t say it’s value for money. However everything in the US is expensive so it is not out of the norm and especially considering the location. We didn’t mind the paper bag breakfasts as others have mentioned because we aren’t huge breakfast eaters. Though some toast might have been nice and some drinking water in a jug perhaps.

Recently remodeled hotel with a very nice lobby and hallway areas. Two free EV charging stations (though one was blocked by a Ferrari taking up two spots...). Consistently friendly and helpful staff who called us when our room was ready. In particular, one staff member moved his car to give us extended access to the second one, which really made our trip easier. Room well sized and clean. No issues with storing our bikes in the room (huge elevator helped us get up there too). Location as good as it gets.

Bathroom shower slightly older than rest of room and very high water pressure, plugs next to bed were a little loose/patchy with making connection
