Spacious room and very clean.

Internet providedly access only, but I could not download or access any of my apps. (no bandwidth or severe restrictions blocking and/or affecting my work apps.

Our expectations were low because we picked a budget motel, but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and cleanliness of the room, bathroom and bed. Good location - close to LAX, Manhattan and Hermosa Beaches. Gourmet Supermarket and Starbucks a couple of blocks away. Housekeeping staff were excellent and responsive.

Would have scored higher if there had been tea and coffee facilities in the room and if there had been a laundry on the premises. Front desk service was non-existent. The front office was basically unmanned. You ring a bell and wait for 10+ minutes for someone to respond. We gave up waiting when we stopped by to ask about checking out procedures. There was a slot to return keys at the night window which we used and hoped for the best.

I stayed in 3 star hotels that weren’t as clean as this. And I mean I’m “I look in the corners and behind the toilet” kind of person. Yes, it’s outdated, and does not have all the bells and whistles as other hotels (no coffee maker or microwave but Mona at the front desk popped some popcorn for us and Target/Starbucks is 5 min away), but you cannot beat the location (5-min drive to the beach) for how much the stay was. Staff was very nice. Kids used the pool several times. Nice, clean, quiet neighborhood. Nice break from all the craziness in downtown LA.

The hot water in the bathroom was at times more lukewarm than hot. I also understand the setup of the building but I wish there were sheer curtains underneath the sun-blocking ones so there’s still light coming in the room without anyone accidentally peeking inside.

Very well situated hotel close to Manhattan Beach and LAX - we chose it based on it's proximity to what we needed during our time in LA not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was and well supported by local infrastructure. Rooms are simple and no-frills, but clean and comfortable, and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The pool was clean, and was welcome after long days in the heat during the heat wave. Would happily stay again next time I'm in LA.

The wifi was not great - a simple complaint. The rest of our stay was a breeze.

Great location, very safe, the renovated rooms are absolutely gorgeous, very confortable and clean. Towels are changed everyday and new toiletries added when needed. Everything is new and high quality. Good internet connection. Staff is very friendly, even had a late check in and that went very smooth, we were very friendly welcomed. We will definetely come back when in LA.

We loved that the location was so close to the beach. We were also impressed with the customer service. They were very accommodating when we had to check in later than the time we had said we would be there.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like! The only thing that could possibly be improved on would be the lighting. It was just a little dim in the room but other than that, it was great!

Good value for money, price is quite low compared to other accomodations in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, beach is close, 20-30 min on foot. You can access LAX by public transport very easily. (Bus 232 takes you to the accomodation from LAX). So it is recommended for those as well, who stay just 1 night and need a hotel close to the airport in a safe neighborhood.

Did not have a breakfast- never heard any,I was unfarmiliar with area, but felt safe for 1 st nite on a beautiful stroll ….. Cool 0ld Hollywood 40’s look to place! Quaint art decoish

As much as I liked all once I got in… my 1st impression questionable! The sign on road is full & almost trashy…. @ nite 1 part is lit(pretty aqua, but again for 125.00 a nite- we need it to be better- someone not putting$ into property seems like!

Robert was very warm and welcoming. We were there for a wedding and as we waited for our Uber in Tux and dress, he came out of the office and offered to take our picture. THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT! My sister and Nephew also rented their rooms there and we enjoyed sitting by the pool in a shaded and pleasant place. Very quiet, comfortable place. I asked for earliest possible check in as we arrived at 9AM
