Fantastic location, right on the beach. Nice deck to watch waves, traffic and people. All you need is a towel to go to the beach, the rooms have a code so a key is not needed. The hotel also offered beach chairs, children's toys and boogie/surf boards. Parking at the hotel is for smaller vehicles but I was able to park my pickup on the next street up and use the back entrance to the property. I was always able to find a space. The room was very clean and the kitchenette was much appreciated. This was a fantastic vacation due to this hotel. Our grandkids wound up swimming a bunch due to the ez beach access, the pier is also close by. The restaurants and bars in Oceanside were a quick walk away, driving was not necessary.

We stayed 2 weeks, would have liked a room clean and new linen . That's the only thing otherwise it was above expectations

Could use a good sweep before someone else comes in my 1 year old crawled on floor and was full of I’m assuming dog fur.

We had such a wonderful experience at this property! It was super modern, spotless, and really well taken care of. The location was absolutely perfect, just steps away from the beautiful beach, and the ocean views were beyond incredible! We loved being able to stroll around to find food, coffee, or drinks—everything we needed was right nearby. I can't express how convenient it was! The gorgeous view of the sea really made our stay special.

We loved the location! Just steps from the beach! Lots of fun shops and great restaurants within walking distance. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

The only complaint I would have is the water pressure in the shower, but it's not really a complaint, just a personal preference. Oh, and the garages were extremely tiny, I could not fit my vehicle all the way in and still be able to open the doors to get out of the car. We made it work with all of our neighbors who mostly had the same issue unless they were driving a very small car. Not sure where parking is for larger vehicles. But all in all, we had a blast and would love to come back and stay here again!

The location was great. Steps from the beach. The deco is light and cheerful. The bed was very comfortable. The heating/cooling unit was great! It was VERY quiet! The little kitchenette area was just right. We really appreciated the sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas. We used those every day. Two of the Marbella coffee cups read “take me home with you” on the bottom. We did! What a small but special way to remember our stay! Nice touch!

The parking. We did not get a garage with our unit. The parking pass helps with metered parking down the street, but near the back entrance of the hotel we’re still limited by the city parking rules, and lack of space. I think the Marbella has done what it can to make it better. Beach parking just is what it is. They even text reminders about the passes. (Very much appreciated that.)

If you want to be right on the Ocean front this is the place. It is on The Strand in Oceanside—an easy walk to the pier and the main area of the town of Oceanside. The Bed was very comfortable—the kitchenette is small but functional. The bathroom is compact but fine. They did a good job layout wise with the space available—had a more streamlined European feel. The weather was cold and overcast in Dec—but they have a nice deck with seating, a fire pit, grill and looks at the Ocean. We had parking in the garage on property—great to not search for parking—however the garages are VERY narrow so a huge SUV might not fit. Pre arrival communication was good but there is no manager on site. Trevor was very responsive.

They need a packet with more info—how to work the heat/air, restaurant suggestions, one extra folding chair or a second luggage rack. Shower could use a hand held sprayer as the shower is compact and if a person is bigger it would be easier to shower. Need a laundry basket to put used towels

What I liked about this property was that it was extremely close to the beach, it was beautiful, trendy and comfortable. It felt like a cozy Airbnb style boutique hotel, except without dealing with Airbnb lol. I liked that I didn’t have to talk to anyone when checking in, you just type in your security code and the room is clean and waiting for you. The room smelled clean as well. The AC worked great which we liked. I had read previous reviews that the walls were thin, so we just brought our fan from home which is loud and we didn’t hear a thing. They had a lot of beach chairs for use, and if you have children, I saw a huge tote of beach toys. They have a coffee stand that comes on Saturday mornings as well - we didn’t try it but it smelled good! One of my favorite part of the stay was coming out of my room (#203) and just hearing/seeing the ocean right there! This place is a gem and I can’t wait to come back, and tell friends about it as well.

I didn’t like that you have to pay a cleaning fee, but you still have to take the garbage out and clean dishes. But I can understand why. Trash may stink up the room if you had food in there. But I do think dishes should be taken and cleaned in a restaurant style dishwasher so they are sterilized. Which maybe they are, but there is a sign that says it is the duty of the person who uses the dishes to clean them to be ready for the next guest.

I loved everything about this property, from the location, to the cleanliness, the patio overlooking the ocean, to the space. This is a vacation property so no front desk, and I loved that too. If you had a question, or like in my case wanted to stay another night, it was very easy to contact the property manager. Fabulous accommodations!

I would have to dig into a dumpster to find something I didn't like. Ok, I couldn't figure out how to turn the patio fire pit on, but others had so that isn't a negative, that's just me not having the patience to figure it out.

A stylish comfortable apartment in an outstanding location. The hosts have created a lovely garden space downstairs at the beach to enjoy the sunsets and the surf. The kitchen has everything you need, and a great microwave and sparkling clean, too. Communication was great with helpful and friendly hosts. The parking pass was a gift, and most days, we were parked a few feet from the entrance on S. Pacific. Highly recommend.

No fault but ours! Be aware of street cleaning days for parking. We arrived in the dark on a Sunday night and parked on S. Myers. We got a ticket as we didn't move the car for street cleaning as it was 3rd Monday.
