Seabird was amazing! The entire property was beautifully maintained, the staff was super nice. When you check in you get a class of Champagne, they take your luggage up to your room. Valet parking is $45/day, but there is other lot parking nearby for $5-$10/day, but that expires at 12am, so you'll have to go out and pay for the next day. We did valet parking for the ease. The pool is fantastic and the resort is beach front. Everything is in walking distance. Oceanside is a regularly visited destination for our family, but staying at the Seabird made our stay so much better.

We loved the view from our room and the rest we were seeking by our stay at the hotel. The room was quiet and clean. One of the reasons for our choice of the room was the high back chair. It was comfortable and provided for our needs.

There were a couple things that would be good to change. We really desired to have a microwave in our room. Upon check-in we were not told there was a microwave on the second floor that we could use, but even with that one available, we were on the third floor and had to carry our food down the hall to another floor, very inconvenient. Second, when we got to our room, there wasn't any information about the surrounding attractions, shopping or even the room service menu. We felt it presumptuous that everyone would have a QR reader on their phone to find out information about the hotel and other items. We do not use a QR app on our phone and felt lost when we got to our room.

The photos of this hotel don’t do it justice. It has a contemporary chilled beach vibe. It’s perfect for families, with fire pits to toast marshmallows, refill water bottles, pool open til 10pm, surf lessons available and welcoming to furry family members too! There is a library with work spaces if you need it and a great spa. It has a great restaurant and with the sister hotel next door, there is a huge choice of dining options. The staff are great and can’t do enough for you. stay as long as you can!

Only niggle was that we all left with bruises on our legs where the bed corners get you!

It’s a new property, the staff they had were friendly. The seemed short staffed, but the people they had were hard working and seemed to really be trying.

I felt a bit mislead with the room I thought I would be getting. I paid the upgrade and opted for the “Full Ocean View” room and felt I received the “Partial Ocean View” room. Don’t think I should have lean over the rail to enjoy “Full Ocean View”. With that said, I’d stay at this hotel again, I’d just call the hotel and make sure I was getting the room I thought I had booked. Also, coffee maker was not working. Tried twice to get it fixed…no luck. Went down stairs to get a coffee, the lady working at the restaurant said, “I heard 5 times that guests coffee makers are not working.” Anyhow, she still charged me $10.00 for the 2 cups of coffee.

All the public areas were wonderful and beautifully done but the pool overlooking the ocean was especially nice. The staff was top-notch and the service was above expectations. The ability to have beach supplies like chairs, umbrellas, and towels ready for use was great since we flew into the area and didn’t have those things with us. The room was spacious and lovely and the thoughtful amenities (water bottles, robes, slippers) made the trip extra special.

There was nothing I would change.

The location being across from the beach was great. Overall, it was a safe place to leave the car in the street overnight, so everything turned out ok. The farmer's market was two blocks over.

Having to pay the valet fee of $ 44.00 a night was a bit much, but parking offsite was only $5.00 a night. The pool closes at 10:00 pm and it was completely full of sand from the kid's usage during the day. A $200.00 pet fee was a bit much for 2 nights.

Absolutely new and clean hotel loved everything! The view is spectacular! We travelled with 4 kids and had nice pool, hot tub, beach with chairs and umbrella, playground on the beach. If we plan to go to Oceanside will definitely stay at this hotel.

The parking fee is 44$. But you can park yourself at the public parking for 5$ for 24 hours - just cross the road )

Couldn’t ask for a better location in Oceanside than where Seabird Resort is. Great facility, everything is so clean and the staff is super nice. The decoration is very elegant beach vibes. Great get away if you live in LA or OC, probably 1-1.5 hr drive the most. I drove my Tesla there and the valet crew fully charged my car overnight, what a pleasant surprise. So I didn’t have to go find a charger around the hotel.

I wish there was a little market or quick bite coffee shop in the hotel. Everything is a sit down eatery.

Brand new resort that had been open for a year. What a gem. Hope they keep up the class. From the arrival to the entrance was 5 stars. The atmosphere was gorgeous and vibrant. Smelled wonderful throughout the inside of the resort. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We used the valet parking even though it was pricey. At least our vehicle was safe and secured. Ocean view is amazing. Pet friendly resort is a plus. Thank you for allowing pets. They are part of our family. Different restaurants available in the resort. Also, the sister resort/hotel Mission Pacific we had access to. The location is 5 stars. Food, drinks, scenery all in one place. We just had to walk and everything was accessible. Our room location was amazing. Used the elevator and made 2 rights, then our room with ocean view. Perfect vacation. Will be returning.

Not enough bathroom areas for pets. A small corner on the opposite side of the resort. We had to walk on the other side which was fine. Room cleaning service could improve. Our beds were fixed and removed old towel on the bathroom floor. Did not sweep bathroom floor, my hairs were all over still. Did not vacuum room carpet. Doggie treat was left in the same spot. These are minor issues I’m sure. We still left a tip for our housekeeper as a courtesy.

Gorgeous decor! Great location!

There was a lot of noise that came in from the street; loud cars driving up and down the street; a free concert at the amphitheater across the street; a band playing at a restaurant across the street. We enjoyed the band, cuz it was our kind of music but our teenagers weren’t impressed!
