location beautiful clean

was told the ice skating rink would be open when I booked it, but it wasn’t. I asked front lobby staff if they had more creamer for coffee and they hesitant said no. then an older male asked about 5 mins later and they went and got some. that was irritating. other than that staff was excellent.

The staff were by far the best part of this hotel! Everyone we encountered was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We had fireplace suite. Well stocked kitchen with fridge, dishwasher etc. We used some kitchen items and it was very convenient since there for 4 days. Bathroom nice size. Air worked great. Bedroom and living room clean. Comfortable beds. We plan to return!

Sadly, bathroom wasn't cleaned well. Toilet had bm splatter under seat that my hubby found first thing. Floor was not swept/ mopped. Shower doors had soap/shampoo drip marks inside from last person. It wasn't hard water stains because it came off during our first few uses so I know it was splattered soap/shampoo. I bring clorox wipes everywhere I go for such occasions. I left floor and shower as it was but obviously cleaned toilet seats. Didn't bother calling housekeeping for toilet since bed was clean. Others might have, but I've cleaned way worse from patients over the years. Hopefully our room was just a fluke housekeeping miss.

Room is functional and comfortable. The pool, jacuzzis, and spa facilities (sauna, steam room) are great with view of the mountains and slopes. The main lounge area is very relaxing, with a beautiful fire place. We had breakfast at the little coffee shop that is open most of the day, which is very convenient. We could buy the Ikon buddy passes directly at the resort.

It would be nice to have an area to store the boots at the entrance of the hotel area. That should be free for the residents, since we are asked not to walk with the boots in the lobbies and elevators.

Linens and bed was so comfortable!! Service great, easy early check in. Beautiful setting.

The Cafe used powered eggs or something and the breakfast burritos were just gross. Not the same standard as the hotel. Pool could have been cleaner. A bit to expensive for me to come back. Wish the path back from Palisades was clearer for night walk, like a light and sign.

Resort facilities are beautiful and comfortable, with nice amenities and convenience to ski areas.

We didn't have good experiences with any of the staff. All interactions were unhelpful or unfriendly. We were originally sent to the wrong room and it took 3 tries with the front desk to get the correct keys to the correct room.

your Valet service and valets are TERRIBLE. not once, but on several occasions, we pulled up to valet and the attendants just stood at the podium and stared at us. no greeting, no friendly acknowledgment, no effort to assist. they answered only when spoken to & even then did not offer help with luggage or parking or anything. they stared blankly as my 80 year old in-laws got out of the car. I have never been to a hotel valet where you were not immediately approached by the valet opening doors, offering services and information. I have worked in the hotel industry and well, that’s just how it’s done. it was so odd & not even close to worth the prices you charge for valet, and didn’t match the rest of the experience.

- beautiful location/close to ski lift - good (paid) breakfast - hotel room and facilities were pretty well maintained - they provided live music in the hotel lobby

- There's a bit of a hassle to go back and forth to parking if not using valet services - hard to get a table/sit at the bar on crowded weekends. But they do provide take out options - lobby bar was a bit basic - there are no beginner slopes close to the hotel; you'll need to take the shuttle to the main village

BEAUTIFUL resort, excellent amenities

The resort is gorgeous, however secluded from the primary ski options if you are a beginner. Unfortunately we did not know about the local transportation (were not informed upon check in) so we were paying for Uber rides to get to the nearby Palisades activities. There was NEVER coffee available in the lobby. You have to provide 24hr notice to request your room to be turned down.

Guest parking was difficult to find and limited to one lot; long line for morning coffee at Bear cafe

There was suppose to be a shuttle to the reggae concert and they never came to pick us up after calling numerous of times and speaking to staff
