The hotel was very charming and beautiful. I also like the location and the walkability to restaurants, shops, and bars.

Although the rooms were cute, they weren't practical. There was nowhere to sit any of my things in the bathroom and there was nowhere to sit period. There was a barstool, way too high for where the reclaimed wood "bar" was. It didn't make sense. I can't imagine if I was sharing the room with a significant other. The bed was absolutely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. While the hotel lobby was gorgeous, I dreaded the end of the night because I didn't want to have to go to bed in that bed. It was so hard.

This is a great hotel in a historic building in the heart of Petaluma. It is easy to walk to restaurants, stores, and cafes. There is a beautiful lobby and the staff (Ton) is great. We have come here many times. There is coffee in the morning but there are also many great cafes nearby. I love Grant Central along the water.

The hotel is changing management so if you are there early (even by an hour) they charge you $25 to check into your room. There is no designated parking so you need to make sure you move your car so you don't get a ticket, or park in a nearby neighborhood.

The hotel is charming in a good location. I enjoyed taking morning walks around the neighborhood. The courtyard was inviting as well as the hotel's lobby fireplace.

Our room's bathroom was small and there was no real wardrobe closet. Just a bar with few hangers on top of the refrigerator. I could not hang my long dresses. The bar's selection is very poor. Need improvement.

The location was convenient to the highway but not too loud. There is a bar downstairs, which is nice although we didn't go since we got in quite late. The staff were very nice and helpful, and it looks like the hotel has been recently renovated.

Check-in was a little weird because it was late and so the entrance on the main road was closed so we had to go through the outdoor patio to get to the desk. There is also no parking, it is all street parking which necessitates moving your car every two hours during the day. The hallway by our room looked like it was in the middle of being repaired/renovated because it wasn't finished being painted. Not a huge deal, just something we noticed. There was also no breakfast, which was a bummer considering the price of the room, but we knew that going on.

Hotel is in downtown. Short walk to plenty of great restaurants. Lobby and terrace are beautiful. Hotel room was big enough for us 3 (king and extra bed). Bathroom was super clean. Free street parking was easy to find and close by.

Corner room was pretty noisy. Green walk sound from street crossing, noises from patio area and traffic. Hotel provides ear plugs though. Would have appreciated fresh milk with the complimentary coffee in the morning and not only the tiny creamer pods?

One person at the desk helped me find a place to eat breakfast and helped me get a parking space just outside the hotel on my last night so that I didn’t have to walk to my car in the parking garage at 3:00am to drive to the airport. A guard walked me to my car the morning that I left. I loved the 24 hr coffee/tea service. I loved the fire in the lobby fireplace. I loved the decor. Beautiful lobby. Excellent location. Free parking!

I called for another blanket on 2 days. Stayed 4 nights and never received it. I did, however, increase the heat and I was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely but very small. Parking was on top of a garage a block away and one must walk up the stairwell of the garage to reach one’s car. That’s fine but as a single woman it made me a bit nervous.

I've stayed at this Hotel 2 times when I visit Sonoma, The Hotel is Nice and Clean but, it is a Old Landmark Hotel,so it comes with its problems... First time i stayed there water from Shower had no Hot Water,but they gave Me percentage off of the Room which was great, Second time the Air Conditioner wasn't working and again gave Me percentage off so they are very accommodating.... Would I Stay here again absolutely yes, There Location is great.

The beautiful old building and comfy beds.

The motion sensor in the bathroom at night sucked. Each time one of us got up to go to the bathroom the bright lights went on & woke the other person up. The little night light was plenty sufficient. There should be a way to decouple the motion sensor from the bright overhead lights at night.

We had a nice one night stay at this historic hotel in downtown Petaluma. Charming lobby, excellent staff, very quiet. Our room was small but well appointed with a comfortable bed. The location is excellent, right in the old downtown walkable to restaurants, shops and the riverfront.

The hotel bar is very expensive.

There was no breakfast, although that would have been nice! I love the location. The staff who worked at/with the Shuckery were fantastic! The lobby is very charming, as well as the patio. The room and bathroom were very sweet with a lot of character.

The pillows were hard, in my opinion, and a little lumpy. The room was stuffy and warm. It was better with all the fans on, but that made it hard for me to sleep, with the air blowing directly on me.
