Property was clean and well maintained . Full breakfast included each morning . I had a suite with a living room and microwave and fridge and large bathroom with double sinks all located minutes from downtown and the value was incredible. I also needed laundry service for something which came back spotless and when promised for $8. Soda in the vending machines was only $1. For a town that is extremely pricey for everything else, The El Pueblo is a wonderful surprise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

A lovely garden and also pool area. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Everywhere was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt relaxed and well cared for.

We looooved the stay in El Pueblo. We were welcomed by Dan who gave us an amazing check in experience. The room is spacious, the bed is big and comfy (some people might find it too soft though). The room had a fireplace, which we gladly used during one of the evenings. The gym on the property is small but has some basic machines (e.g. thread mill) and weights. The breakfast is continental but there was a lot of choice (yougirt, outmeal, quiche, sweet pastry, boiled eggs, bagels with cream cheese). It’s not my ideal breakfast selection but I could make it work and not feel hungry. The hotel is 20mins walk to the central square of Sonoma.

The room, (134), was spotlessly clean, spacious, had a queen sized bed which was very comfortable, nicely furnished and had a small private patio out the back. Reception staff were very helpful and efficient. Coffee and tea in reception 24/7 was a nice touch. Breakfast was continental with a choice of cereals, muffins, bagels, bread, fruit, boiled eggs, toast, tea and coffee. Tables were available inside or on the patio outside. The quality of everything was very good. The location was about 1 mile from the main square in Sonoma which we walked in about 20 minutes. Parking was easily available on site. the pool area was very clean with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. The hot tub was large and we spent some time in there talking to others at the hotel. Generally the hotel was maintained to a high standard inside and out.

The garden courtyard is one of my favorite attributes. Especially when you come in at night, the lights and fountains are very calming. The pool area is nice, clean, and a good space. This time I was in an older room with was ok, not as awesome as my last stay but clean and functional for what I needed. Staff very accommodating when I couldn't find parking late at night. Overall, great staff and a good location and place to stay. An oasis from the City.

The bathroom could be updated. Having the A/C behind the bathroom door was weird b/c you had to make sure the door was closed when on.

I like everything about this hotel. Sure, the guest room (and its bathroom) could probably benefit from a ‘lil refresh, but aside from that, which didn’t have any negative effect on our stay, I really enjoyed our weekend here just relaxing and chilling by the pool without any of the pretense and the tacky entitled nouveau-riche clientele that wine country has now unfortunately become synonymous with (here’s looking at you Yountville). There’s something charmingly nostalgic about the grounds and landscaping that I find endearing. I would love to stay here again.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating, the entire property was beautiful and fully equipped with great amenities (we especially enjoyed the complimentary umbrellas during such a rainy weekend!!) and was presented neatly and cleanly. The continental breakfast was delicious and with two members of our party with Celiac, we were so glad to see they thought of gluten free options.

The sheets in one of our rooms was dirty upon arrival, it seemed they weren't changed from the guests before us. Once we contacted the front desk, they said we could go down and get some new sheets.

Warm welcome and very friendly staff. The motel is really nice: rooms are spatious, well furnished and very comfortable. Facilities, including gardens, are very well kept, you can feel a lot of attention to detail. Swimming pool, including area around it and fitness room, were awesome! Breakfast was nice, compared to other motels. Very quiet hotel despite proximity to main roads.

The only thing that could make it even better would be an enhanced breakfast buffet with more choices, like in international hotels: choices of eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, etc.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. You totally forget you're in downtown Sonoma. Our garden-view room was clean and looked updated. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Front counter staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with several options. Loved our stay!

The wifi was spotty and I couldn't get cell reception. No towers anywhere which adds to the beauty but limits phone access. They do have a business center if you need to check in to your flights.

This property was exceptional! The staff upon checkin was amazing. He had so many great suggestions and was both extra friendly and informative. The breakfast was great and the all day coffee and tea service by the fire was enjoyed. The rooms had everything we needed and were super clean and comfortable. I would stay here again and highly recommend this property! Downtown Sonoma was walkable had the weather been warmer, but the drive was around 3 minutes! It was a perfect place to stay close to everything!
