overall, Sonoma Creek Inn was quaint and generally satisfied. bathroom was generous size. location was in nice neighborhood but the street could be noisy at times. Cafe next door was great! nice to be able to park close to room.

The pre-check in online was fine but it still took 35 minutes (my husband timed because he was waiting in the car) in person to go thru in person check in. Much too over thought and tiresome! and they did not have any local maps area maps to give out. The outdoor patio was a nic touch, but why have an outdoor fountain if it’s not functional. Inn is missing attention to some details that would/could make this a better accommodation and experience.

Location for our purpose, good place for breakfast next door, free parking and people, everyone was so nice.

The room was smaller than I've thought, the bed and pillows wasn't comfortable for us, we like soft ones. The main cleaning was ok but the details don't, like lots of dust in the bulbs, shelves and window.

The location is only a 5-6 minute drive to the heart of Sonoma. Since it is also within 30-40 minutes of the towns of Napa, Petaluma, Sebastopol and Bodega Bay, it is a good location for visiting many Sonoma County locations without a long drive. The interior decor is quite pleasing. The best restaurants are closer to downtown, but the old-style diner that is part of the main building has excellent breakfast and lunch offerings.

A little fresh paint on some of the woodwork would have spruced things up. It's an older facility that has been upgraded nicely, but it could be spiffed up a bit more. It would add to the appeal of the room.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and easy access to our room. Having the cafe around the corner was a bonus.

Though we enjoyed our room, we were not told it was a "handicap" room. If so it would be nice for the establishment to let people know beforehand. Then we could have asked for extra towels because the shower is designed with no outer "lip" to prevent the water from seeping into the interior of the bathroom. (We arrived after 6pm so there was no access to getting more towels.) So please consider informing your guests that they will be getting a handicap room. If they arrive after hours, at least place a couple of extra towels. Otherwise, our stay was very comfortable and we were able to get the towels in the morning.

Sonoma Creek Inn is definitely a cute little hidden gem. Don't judge it by the outside cause the rooms are very lovely! I loved the decor and lots of coffee too. I was surprised they had their own restaurant on site which was nice. The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful.

Just a heads up to the staff, the box to slip in our cards for early check out wasn't open so we just slipped it under the doors. Some others may not have thought of that if they needed to check out early.

Loved the colorful decor and retro look. Loved that they place the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion in pump dispensers - a huge plus in my eco book. Bed was very comfortable. Proximity to the town of Sonoma.

The balcony area was not as pleasant as I expected - from the photos on Booking.com, it looked like the balcony was enclosed and more private. Our room had an open shared balcony that overlooked the car park. The room could use an updated TV, but we decided not to bother to use it.

We really enjoyed our stay! Ceiling fan and lighting were great. Bed was comfortable. Easy access to parking. Quaint and quiet. Nice to have a little patio but no view but we knew that going in. Pretty good location and got a nice welcome from the woman who checked us in.

It could use just a little updating. But truly nice overall. A couple places around the bathroom floorboards was older looking. Lamps could be changed out. But maybe it's part of the theme.

Rooms are clean, well cared for. It is a simple place for a good simple stay and beyond that, special amenities are minimal. The cafe/restaurant adjacent is a very good and a terrific convenience, although it is closed Monday. Although this would not be significant to most, the office is only staffed from 9am-6pm; they accommodate late-comers by providing access to a lock box to pick up your keys; however, if you get there early, as I did, there is no way to stash bags until check-in. My case may be unusual in that I arrived by taxi from San Fran in advance of pick-up for a wine tasting tour (I had not wanted to taste and drive) but pick up was after 9am so it did not cause a problem, and I probably should have paid more attention to check i details. I did leave my bags and provide check-in info upon opening, and got my key via the lock box; all went well. Very pleasant, helpful staff adds to the comfort. Highly recommend for a clean, simple, high-value stay.

Very cute decor, friendly staff, easy recovery if locked out. Good parking. Good air conditioning and the ceiling fan was also a plus. Came with lots of shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

Mold in bathroom/little bathroom ventilation. Bedding was firm, not a fan personally. The peephole in my room was also impossible to see through.

Clean and comfortable stay in a cutesy motel. Quick drive to the main square downtown, and perfect for exploring Sonoma wineries. Very friendly lady at the welcome desk. They even mailed us my son’s sleep sack that we left behind - really appreciated that kind gesture! Great value for money for the area.
